The two most popular men’s fragrances by Azzaro, Azzaro Pour Homme from 1978 and Azzaro Chrome from 1996, are reinterpreted in yearly summer limited editions in 2016, announced as new solar fragrances that celebrate life. Azzaro Pour Homme and Azzaro Chrome 2016 editions include new raw ingredients, namely cedar, providing new energy to the classic compositions. Altas cedar, which comes from the eponymous Moroccan mountain, adds vibrant and opulent notes to Azzaro Pour Homme edition, while Azzaro Chrome contains cedar from Virginia with its dry, woody character.
Azzaro Pour Homme Limited Edition 2016 is a fresh and energetic summer scent of citrus – woody – fougere character, developed by Givaudan perfumer Quentin Bisch. “This fresh and sensual cocktail is like a warm light conveying a joy of living and recalling an endless summer. A fragrance with vibrant notes that casts an irresistibly attractive solar personality.”
• Pungent fresh grapefruit opens the composition;
• Lavender at the heart conveys the summery sensuality of its aromatic notes;
• Cedar represents the darker side of the sun-filled fragrance, with the intoxicating and stirring mystery in its woody notes.
Available as a 100 ml Eau de Toilette in the emblematic bottle that takes on twilight tones, while its holographic box captures and reflects the light.

I got six hours performance out of this scent,this is good juice, classy and very bright smelling.

i think this is a lighter and fresher version of the original. this version is grandson of original version. more modern and up to date but with his grandfather specifications. longevity isn’t like the original but it is good and acceptable.i can’t accept this version has only three ingredients.
این کار میتونه یه جورایی نوه ی آزارو پورهوم قدیم باشه! این کار بنظرم جوون تر و مدرن تر شده و یکم از تاریکیش کم تر شده اما هنوز اخلاق بابابزرگش رو داره. یه نموره بد اخلاق و جدیه!!
مطمئنا واسه کلاسیک پسندا میتونه کار جذابی باشه مخصوصا اونایی که ورژن قدیمش رو باهاش دورانی داشتند.
موندگاریش کمتر از ورژن اصلیه اما با توجه به نزدیک بودن رایحه اینم موندگاری و پخش خوبی داره.

APH 2016 Limited Edition is Enchanting and very nicely and lightly balanced Summer edition of the heavy original, the original APH nicely melts into sweet and pleasant and not annoying fantasy, stays long enough on the skin and received good words from those who smelled it on me. surely not annoying and updated interpretation of the original. for me in general which also liked the 2015 Limited edition. it feels like a better value for money and i find myself using both this 2016 and 2015 editions more than i use the original. i don’t agree that Azzaro is destroying anything with these editions. surely not after releasing so many other non limited editions through the years. i believe each of them stands out for it’s own and in general all the flankers i tried were of above average level and good value of money. it’s interesting though for me, as i can’t say the same things about the Various Chrome editions which i tried. as bottom line, i recommend this fragrance also for colder indoor days and nights. sillage is not insulting the senses but is nicely present. and longevity is decent at around 7-10 hours. go for it as long as it lasts.

This is a rather poor version of the original. It starts with citrus and a large dose of lavender and dries down to a cheap smelling cedar base, similar to pino silvestre. There is no oakmoss and leather here and if you expect the classy and comforting base notes of the original, you’d be in a wrong place. Shame on you azzaro for destroying on of my favourites.
