I owned the original “invent your scent” tester vial kit that the Body Shop came up with in the early 2000’s. I liked it so much that I bought a lot of the 30ml bottles. They came out with 3 additional fragrances that I had no idea about until I saw them on here. I really enjoyed the “pick two and spray” concept. I’ve always worn perfume for me, and I don’t like to wear the same thing all the time as you become somewhat nose blind to it. So when I was in my early 20’s this was genius and hip to me! I even gave a few of those tester vial kits as gifts.
Aztique was a fruitier floral. It has a crispness to it, at the base its more floral, with a wood/amber/musk base. I always paired it with one of the other fragrances, as on its own its a bit fruit salad. I would imagine it was the banana note that probably would have turned me off from wearing this on its own. I still have about one fourth of the bottle left. For the most part I’ve kept this in a cool dark place, and on special occasion still pull these out and “invent my scent”.

Finally got to try this in warmer weather.
I can’t really discern any particular notes – it’s very vague. I don’t hate it but I really don’t love it. It isn’t a scent I can see myself wearing for any occasion.

I definitely get the fruity top notes and the woody base notes. The banana is powdery and the peach and lime are dry. It’s an interesting scent. I can’t wait to try it out during a warmer time.

Tropical fruitiness (I get a pronounced melon note that is not listed, that gives it a watery/aqua vibe too) that blooms in the heat and humidity of summer. It is fresh, sweet and very banana-ry. The drydown is more woody, a little powdery and floral. I like this one a lot. I like it because I don’t own anything like this. Thumbs up Body Shop, pity this is now discontinued.

I got this in the most adorable set of travel testers when I was flying frequently, and the concept was to mix and match layers of the scents for new experiences. loved to mix this with the minty one. can’t remember name. Then purchased this on its own as I just really liked it. Sweet and yummy smells, a nice one I continue to hang onto and use, sad its not made any more.

Just got it today. LOVE IT! its tropical and fruity. smells divine. Its my first fruity fragrance as i tend to go for aquatics more. its creamy and lush. I can smell the banana and peach. Can’t really smell the lime but i guess thats the note that prevents it from being sickly sweet. Perfect for Singapore’s hot weather.

My first ‘proper’ fragrance when I was nine, I used to save it for special occasions when I wanted to smell like fruity summer flowers and expensive shampoo. So many memories are attached to this scent that 11 years since I still treasure my bottle and sniff it now and then.
I’m too old to wear this lovely thing again, a sweet and innocent mocktail of peach nectar, pear slices and tropical fruits with a garnish of juicy florals, but I love time travelling back to those halcyon days when a spritz of this behind my ear, like tucking a fruit blossom in my hair, made me indescribably happy and feel like the coolest girl in the world. 🙂

my ultimate favourite!!!! i really love this. sadly it is now discontinued. i can never fine it in my country. when i wear this, the banana smell really prominent, i dunno if it is a good thing, but my friends really like it on me. they say whenever they smell this perfume,it reminded them of me. poor lasting power though, but i don’t mind reapplying as it is very cheap. why didn’t i stock up when i had the chance. such a shame. body shop should bring this back!!!!

I like this scent, it is fruity, sweet and happy. But I can’t use it during summer, if it is warm, it really makes me sick because it is too sweet for me. Now that it’s spring, and there’s still snow on the ground, I like it more. And it hasn’t given me a headache…
I’m not a teen, but I like to wear this time to time.

Smells like cocoa butter. Very similar to Palmers lotion.

Funny how I didn’t realize the banana note at all! It has been 5 years since a friend gave it to me. Luckily I have sniffed it before and loved it before she gave it to me. It is now not in my love list but still wearable. Inoffensive, fresh and a summer scent. Great for teenagers 🙂
Recently, my friend sprayed a little around her wrist and accidentally sprayed on her watch (a rubber type). She was surprised that the fragrance still exists the next day, and so was I! I was like, “You’re lying!” when she said “The perfume is still there!” while sniffing around her wrist.
So I can conclude that it could last longer on a.. err, rubber? LOL.

Aztique is one of the Body Shop fragrances that I bought in bulk as soon as they landed on the “to be discontinued” shelf.
I used it for work as the scent was decent enough not no make anyone around me nauseous.
I never got any of the top notes though; as soon as I sprayed it on, I got a light woodsy but fresh scent.
Lasting power and sillage are below average, but at £ 4 per 30 ml it was affordable to use more and to refresh the scent more often.
To my nose, Aztique is a proper unisex-perfume that would suit a man as well.

The opening of The Body Shop AZTIQUE reminds me a lot of Beich’s Bananas, one of my favorite candies during junior high school. Basically it’s a big blob of creamy, chewy banana taffy. As you bite into it, all caution about lifting fillings from your back molars is cast into the wind. Carpe diem is the clarion call of this candy!
AZTIQUE becomes a bit more floral and woody after the brief sugar-spray opening, but still remains too sweet for me to wear as a regular perfume. Nonetheless, I appreciate this creation for its banana note, which is so seldom used in fine fragrances that I can name only a few compositions (including D&G SICILY) that contain it. It’s an intriguing note, with a creamy, substantial texture, and I can recommend this particular combination for those who like sweet fruity-florals. For me, it’s just a nice–albeit brief–walk down memory lane.

I just looove this fragrance!!! : ) i have a hard time finding it though…i got it in a small size that was part of a boxe set of miniature.
I really enjoy the smell it’s a perfect match with my skin

A nice fruity scent. It reminds me fruity banana sweets. Fruits are not chemical like in some popular modern fragrances. Good for summer or some careless girls’ parties. I think this scent is for teens firstly, but I’m not a teen for ten years and I enjoy it too ))

If Aztique was a snapshot, it would be a big family sharing a large bowl of fruit salad, while chatting in a garden of flowers.
I haven’t smelt banana on many fragrances, but in this one is quite dominant. I can also sense peachy undertones, pear, and subtle floral notes. It sounds strange, but it works!
But while I used to wear this in high school, I wouldn’t use it now.I can find no circumstances that it can be worn and be appropriate for a lady in her 20s. It’s better for younger ages. It’s lasting power is also not very impressive.Maybe this happens because the base notes don’t appear at all. At least on me…
Anyway, I still enjoy catching whifs of it from time to time…Brings back beautiful summer memories…
