I’ve not previously tried any clones or approximations of Chanel Bleu de Chanel (EDT) but for my first, Dua Fragrances Azraq is a solid take on the masterpiece from Chanel. It’s a woody aromatic that leans slightly oriental in my opinion, a great combination of notes that actually makes it slightly unisex, a nice fragrance to dress up and wear casually alike.
As the only earlier reviewer stated below, Azraq is, to some extent, more subtle than Bleu de Chanel itself. The main distinction in my estimation is that Bleu de Chanel employs the sharp note of ginger, among others, than Azraq lacks, and this probably makes Azraq more universally appealing and wearable than even BDC that is very popular.
Performance is strong, comparable to BDC itself (which is stronger than most EDTs) and roughly consistent with some of the lighter-performing Dua extraits. Azraq performs more like an average-ish EDP on my skin rather than some of the other beasts (i.e. The Mobster, Sweet Tabacum). Still, a good performer and good value at the standard $45 for 30ml extrait. Worth a try–who knows, you may like it more than BDC.

Famiimpellnef – :
I got this because it appeared to be a clone of Bleu De Chanel based on the notes. However, this one is rather subtle compared to BDC, in a good way and I don’t really think that they are comparable. What I get is a very subtle citrus mixed with something floral (must be the Labdanum + Jasmine). The sandalwood and cedar part is what I don’t get at all, at least not so far.
Longevity and projection:
After a couple of hours, the scent remains rather close to your skin with minimal projection. This isn’t bad by any means and for a scent like this, where subtelty is the key, this is the kind of projection you might want.
Not much of a wow factor on this one, it’s a very safe scent which would be something perfect to wear to work or a setting where you don’t want to affect anyone’s olfactory senses, in any season.
