Love at the first sniff! Let me hold on to summer 2018 for awhile, please! Nectar Love is as sweet, warm and beautiful as the summer that just finished.
This is fruity in a subtle, soft way, thanks to the honey notes. It has also a fresh element in it. Solar notes?! How do they create them? Sounds interesting.
Cute bottle and a wonderful, happy scent. My want list just got a new member!

I smell the honey on first spritz, but this smells absolutely awful on me. It’s musty and dirty smelling on my skin. I’m beginning to think it’s DKNY in general that doesn’t work for me because Be Delicious and Be Delicious Blossom didn’t work for me either.
To be fair, my chemistry turns even the most expensive perfumes to sewage on my skin.

I have rarely enjoyed a Donna Karan scent (I like Cashmere Mist; that’s about it), and honey is often a tricky note for me since I can find it too cloying. I was completely surprised when I tried Nectar Love from a carded vial and found that I loved it!
It’s a bit sweet, of course, but not as much as I would have expected from a honey scent. I didn’t find it cloying at all—the honey has a wonderfully waxy feel to it, so to me this is more of a honeycomb scent than flat out honey. The drydown is a soft and pretty white floral, though I can still get the honey and beeswax notes. Overall, the impression is of a warm, lightly breezy, gently sunny day. Wonderful. I wish I’d discovered this in the spring. I will definitely have to get a bottle by next spring, though I’m tempted to just buy it now so I can enjoy it in the fall and winter, anyway!
I did try this perfume from a sample, but I’ve seen the bottle in-store, as well. It’s quite adorable and well-made. Reminiscent of the Marc Jacobs Daisy bottles, all of which I cannot stand for being too cutesy, but Nectar Love just about avoids looking too childish. Oh, I cannot wait to get my grubby hands on a bottle!

This perfume is a perfect fit at the end of august when the smell of summer is still in the air and the first leaves start to fall. It’s a beautiful scent with more dept than I expected by DKNY. It’s still casual and young, suitable for young people or work. Pretty!

August 2018. Blind buy. Store is going out of business and this baby was 80% off. I’m laying it with a fragrance that has orange blossom at its heart. The two are working well together. I agree it is sweet smelling but not sugary or candy sweet. Enjoying the honey scent. Need a not more time with it. Right now it smells more like a hair care or body care product than a perfume. I may have to try something else to later with it.

I love the syrupy sweetness of this scent! It really is a photorealistic sweet nectar scent. That is primarily the only thing you’ll smell from this fragrance, so don’t expect it to be a complex fragrance that evolves over time.
It’s a sweet, fun summer fragrance. It’s for the girl who positively glows and radiates sunshine.

It took me hours and hours to figure it out. I kept smelling my hand and thinking… this smells like high school. Well, behold… This is a good dupe for Coty Ici vintage. It’s endearing to me for that simple reason. It lasts fairly long, too. I like that they went there. Early 90s style. A great choice for anyone who is into the 90s revival fashion. Definitely sweet but no like everything else on the market. Freesia is always retro to me.

BEAUTIFUL SCENT!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ To me this smells not too similar to Viva because Viva is a very Sugary Syrupy scent that this scent does not possess thankfully. It sort of has its similarities but not identicle by any stretch. Sweet and beautiful and pretty good last time on me. Beautiful Honey. I’m just in Love with this scent.

This is hands down my favorite perfume of all time. The primary note is honey. Straight up honey. It smells like honey with a hint of vanilla. Those are really all you smell, in my opinion. My SO, brother, and daughter all love this on me. My SO is very sensitive to perfume, and there are few he likes. This scent is strong enough to smell but you are not going to leave a scent behind at all. I only wish it was a tad stronger and lasted much longer. This is a scent you will need to reapply. If you do not like sweet scents you will not like this. If you like sweet scents that are fairly sweet and you enjoy the smell of vanilla and honey then you will absolutely love this.

First impression: photorealistic honey note! It isn’t just a base note, either, it is present from the start, with a polleny vibe that reminds me specifically of clover blossom honey. This is a very pleasant scent, sweet without being sugary. You can smell the fruit notes but I wouldn’t characterize this as “fruity”, as they are well blended with the floral notes. The gold bottle with the little bee is very pretty. If you don’t like the smell of real honey, I would avoid this, or at least try before you buy, but I’m enjoying this very much for the start of summer. In my hot and humid climate, it may become too sweet for July and August, but it’s just right for June.

To me this is very different from DKNY other offerings. Yes, its fruity but not the usual fruity teenage water. I think that citrus with freesia and musk makes a nice fresh scent if you are into that sort of thing. If you dont want to smell like a fruit basket, I would recommend this because its more grown up I think.
I wouldn’t buy it for me but I can see why it would get lot of love

First I was all excited when I tried it on me. Apart from the honey dropping in the opening it turned into something really pleasant, i almost bought it and now, 4 hours later, I’m glad I didn’t: the dry down became a furniture wax type of smell and I fell like I’m a polished table. Too bad, because it was really good until then.

Gosh, I love this perfume so much. The initial burst is pretty polleny. Like smelling the center of a flower. You almost wonder if it is going to draw a sneeze. I walked away from it that first time. I just thought dandelion or something. But it settled down after a couple minutes to an incredible honey-vanilla, soft white flower scent that I revisited again and again. I literally could not stop smelling my wrist. It is that fabulous. While sillage is not great unless you really douse yourself in it, the longevity is pretty fantastic. The store gave me a teeny sample, but I knew that would only last me a minute and the big bottle was in my immediate future. I noticed it said solar notes and this truly is sunshine in a bottle. Thirteen notes seems like a lot (way more than any perfume really should have) but they marry so well it is not overwhelming or muddy. Just the perfect perfume. And such beautiful packaging. Could be a cloying scent in very hot weather, but has been great between freezing and seventy-ish. Oh, and it will linger on your sweater or jacket forever.

In the opening I get mostly juicy nectarine, syrupy (but not sickly) sweet beeswax. It smells youthful, playful, fruity.
After it settles I get floral notes – mostly fresia and jasmine. The scent gets more sophisticated tone.
Don’t expect any sort of seduction, that’s not this category. But if you wanna experience somethine else, why not.
It’s not my style, but I really liked that. It’s different and fun.
    To me 6,5/10.

Okay so I have to say I have not sprayed this yet but I will say this .. I walked into Kohl’s the other day and a sweet beautiful scent got my attention! Almost a juicy couture vibe but Kohl’s has hundreds of perfumes so how was I to find the one that must have been sprayed last? Well I walked to the special new ones on display in the isle! And found this pot of gold! I smelled it and low and behold I think this was the ONE! I couldn’t spray it at the time because I was with people allergic to perfume but I can’t wait to go back and test this baby out lol such a sweet summer spring scent! And the Gold bottle and gold bee HOW CUTE

I almost didn’t buy this perfume because of the mixed reviews. But I’m glad I went with my gut instinct and brought it. It smells lovely, it’s a scent that one can wear all year round. I smell lots of honey, vanilla, Lilly of the Valley, Jasmine, a bit of gardinia and a hint of nectar. Somewhat long lasting on my skin….So I’m also happy with that.

Sweet honey and floral notes at first and then the solar notes comes along. Would have wished for more of the honey since this was the nicest note for me. Maybe it´s too sweet for a summer day but if you want to reminish the summer in the autumn or winter it´s nice. Cute and apropriate bottle but poor longevity for an edp.

This is a decent offering from DKNY. I can’t think of a DKNY fragrance I really love although I like cashmere mist. I can’t stomach be delicious it’s one of the few fragrances dislike. I just haven’t had much luck. So that’s probably why I bought this I think as I was surprised I liked it! I love the bottle I’m a sucker for gold bottles lately and it smells like the name suggests, like nectar, but after a while I was going out of my mind trying to figure out what perfume it reminded me of. It’s a dead ringer for something.. I think it is Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy. There are a lot of Viva la Juicy dupes around so I think it is reminding me more of a dupe I can’t place but that’s not a big difference. I would say if you like Viva la Juicy then this is probably worth trying if you don’t mind a bit of nectar in the mix. Honestly it’s just a nice fragrance, a good fruity floral, nothing to have a party over but very pleasing.

I loved the sound of its notes, I mean solar accord, honeycomb and neroli? Fabulous!
Well it turned out quite the opposite for me.
Nectar Love is in the same vein as the original Be Delicious, I can detect the same cucumber-green apple freshness, you can tell they are from the same family.. Here, however, that somewhat familiar smell is blended with synthetic sweetness, lily of the valley and non descriptive fruitiness.
Really not good this one. But we’ll always have the notes lol!

Thick, heavy and syrupy, spray with extreme caution. Its also very sweet. Kind of reminds me of Poeme, but this has honey so its even heavier and sweeter. Instead of some citrus to break up all the flowers, this has an unusual sunny note. It kind of works, as it gives this some bite and something a little extra. Kind of synthetic but these kind of fragrance project well and last forever on. If you know that you are getting into its worth a try. Not a good blind buy or gift. Think this one through before purchase.

I really enjoyed this sweet and sunny floral. It’s very sweet and fruity at first but then gets fresher from the waxy, floral honeycomb. Smells like summer!

  23. :

First 15 minutes were awful, i almost washed it off. Synthetic and the sweet oder reminiscent of decaying flowers
2.5 hours its a dead ringer for Viva la juicy

I wanted to love this one! I was dying for it to be a juicy, fruity honey with sunshine, warm wood, and musk. Not so. It smells like pollen. Floral, waxy pollen. All the citruses leave the room very quickly and you are left with the vanilla, freesia, neroli, and lily of the valley. Everything else takes a back seat! They were very smart to name this nectar. Any honey phrasing would be false advertising. But if you have ever eaten honeycomb, this is a similar experience. Floral sweetness. Seek out “Honey and The Moon” or Danny Seo “Australia” for your honey needs.

victoria secrets aqua kiss mist / body spray and pledge citrus cleaning products/ rexona fresh deodorants or mum like cucumber’im so clean vibes’ waxy honey opening with cheap light yet intense florals’the cover up a smell ones’with a dash of ripening fruit.
the waxiness is on the cuff of greasy hair, then open mouth chewing gumdrops /beeswax candles/hairy aprico skin / white lillies / freesia/ greenery bridalflowershop /seashell soaps & marine potpourri or whatever synthetics to make something mimic ozonic breezy lightness, the honey wafts in and out towards the end and underneath it all a sparkling supermarket champagne.
so boring this is created in 2017, just more body spray nothings, as if there isent enough.
no thanks, urgh now theres pineapple coming thru, whoa as if i really bad knockoff of dolce gabbana the one / daisy and taylor swift and gradenia by elizabeth taylor. yup.. more to add to the ‘ here we go again’ line

Sweet beeswax! I love this from top to bottom; the bottle is cuter than cute…although the cap is gold plastic, I would never have guessed; the bottle is heavy enough to feel ultra high quality. Really nice!

  27. :

I quite like it. The opening has a noticeable honey/beeswax note on me. Then the dry down becomes more floral and I can also detect the solar notes.
To me it smells gentle, and floral and just a bit different than your usual inoffensive floral perfume. So I am happy with it.

Just like someone below me, I wanted to try this because of the beautiful cute bottle, and I really wanted to like the scent. I expected a sweet, honey scent. It smells horrible. I cannot even describe the smell, but it is bad, believe me. This is not something that I would like people to smell on me… I dont know if its the beeswax note, but it kinda smells like something sharp and stinky, maybe bugspray…

I kept seeing this in the holiday gift set form at TJM, and I swear that cute bottle drew me in, and I am not usually one drawn in by bottles!! LOL.
This………reminds me of something I’ve smelled before….thinking possibly it was an 80’s frag or some drugstore frag from eons ago, but..this reminds me of something..and dang if I can remember!!
Anyhow, this is one that I think less is best and I think this one can definitely be over-sprayed. There is an unexpected sharpness that I get from this. I was also not expecting this to be so powerful. Wow. And to me, there is a slight synthetic smell going on here. I really do not pick apart any specific notes, not saying this is well blended, but..to me, this smells manufactured and synthetic. Not what I am used to DKNY/Donna Karan fragrances, I usually like or even love her fragrances. But for me, this one is a borderline dislike, and I think this one could be headache-inducing; I’ve felt a slight headache coming on from this, but has not turned into a full blown headache, just kind of a dull ache that strong smells sometimes bring. I just was not expecting this to be so strong and synthetic. If I were really pressed to describe which notes I pick up here, I would say the solar notes, the grapefruit and the musk. The beeswax note here seems very synthetic to me, the fragrance in general just seems very strong and synthetic.
The bottle is gosh-darn cute, though!!! The bottle is not as big as I thought, I thought this bottle would be like the size of my head, but it is actually kind of flat-shaped, if that makes sense. I guess maybe I was thinking this would be round like a honeypot or something..?? Anyway, cute bottle, this one just is too much for me. I was hoping for something light, and this one is sort of a powerhouse for me. Brings back unpleasant memories, too, of that 80’s or drugstore frag I am trying to remember..that one gave me headaches, too. 🙁
But, different noses, different tastes, different skin chemistry, this one is one I think people will either really like or even love, or….not so much. Unfortunately, I am in the “not so much” category. 🙁

This one has beeswax, musk, jasmine, and vanilla, which I always associate with a ‘serious’ or ‘introspective’ perfume, but! It also has grapefruit, neroli, lily-of-the-valley, and nectarine that are refusing to be held down. This is a hug, yes, but it is a breezy euphoric hug on a newly warm spring day. This is a hug from your toddler after they saw a kind of butterfly that they’ve never seen before. It’s warm and exciting and full of wonder and love.

This is beautiful, tested it whilst on a city break in Rome. For some reason I expected it to smell of honey and I hate honey so I was expecting to hate it. It is sweet fresh and citrusy and juicy- it is a beautiful scent. I am definitely going to purchase this, although hard to come by in the UK. One of the best from DKNY. It has several notes I haven’t detected before such as mirabele and beeswax. Also someone please tell me what on earth are solar notes? I am desperate to know!! This fragrance is definitely different in scent to a lot out there, but it is not too different it is still sweet fruity juicy and hence safe. But it has that kick about it. It is such a pleasant scent, it just made me happy and lifted my spirits. Definitely give this one a go. Very underrated fragrance from DKNY. I detect orange flower and lilly in this also which are 2 of my favourite notes. Honestly, this fragrance was a very pleasant suprise for me. Not how I expected it to smell at all.

Reminds me of Dolce & Gabbana’s “The One”. They are by no means identical, but this nectar is very much along the lines of The One.
    Unimpressed.

Nectar love is exquisitely honeyed on the opening, very much like the scent of freshly blooming honeysuckle on a hot summer’s day. I don’t know what solar notes are exactly, but there is certainly a strong sense of summer, of the sun, of brightness, warmth, and everything that’s fresh, fragrant, free, and good, about a beautiful summer’s day. It’s very seductive in that initial burst and, if the opening scent lasted, I would definitely be sold on it. Unfortunately, at least on my skin, it barely lasts at all. Ten minutes in and it’s already fading fast. Half an hour in and it’s well on the way to becoming a skin scent, and a faint one at that.
In the dry down, I can still detect the honey, although it’s comparatively muted by now, some vanilla, neroli, and just a hint of woody musk. Good if someone is up close and personal, perhaps – or you’ve sprayed on quite a bit. Otherwise, it’s barely detectable, which is a real shame because it started out with promise.
Definitely a summer scent, sweet and happy, and, despite being light and not very long-lasting, it is very beautiful for what it is.

I can totally sense the solar notes, some very light fruity notes and beeswax. Sweet and sunny scent, makes me think of warm weather.
There’s no warm weather, where I live, so it seems this one is not very suitable for my home country. Still, that’s not the perfume’s fault.
I think it’s best for summer.

I kept smelling my wrist after the tester thinking ‘I know this smell’ and then it hit me – it is a liquid version of Burt’s Bees Solid Baby Perfume – with honey and vanilla. One and the same. I am in LOVE. This is basically soapy honey mixed with baby powder. Yes and yes. Just ordered a 50ml second hand bottle on eBay for a snip.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

I tested it on paper. To me, it is a fresh citrus fruity floral musky scent.
I didn’t get the beeswax at all and I am so sensitive to it! Something made me happy when I smelled it for the first time. Now that I checked the notes, it could be the combo of solar notes and nectarine. However, the dry down is a generic floral musk. No vanilla.
This is a forgettable fragrance imo.

  38. :

Top notes are OK, but after a while, there is some sharp citrus note that I don’t like. Not for me. What a shame, the glamorous bottle is so in my style!

I love this one the design is lovely and it does smell like honey but the cirrus (maybe?) keeps it from being too heavy smells delicious does trail when you wear it my coworker was asking me what I was wearing said it smelled good my boyfriend also loves it very girly but not too heavy or sweet lasts a long time through a day at work can still faintly smell it in my wrists good job on this one!

Just tried it today , it starts off with a big blast of honey then turns into a sweet cozy scent
The drydown is very pleasant and yes it could be a Viva La juicy
Not one that I need to have , the quality is so so and the beeswax is short lived ..overpriced really for what you get, I guess a flanker on top of a flanker..
    A tad synthetic too
Not much I can add, forgettable, but not bad.

  41. :

It’s a friendly smell but it got up my nose like vinegar. It smells cheap to me, like hairspray with caramel.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

Smells like viva la juicy…..but still grabbed a small bottle …and it has a hint of warm honey but it fades to a nice sister of viva la juicy

  43. :

    5 out of 5

Pretty, soft, fruity, slightly honeyed floral. Was expecting it to be sweeter and have more honey/beeswax. Would be perfect for hot summer days. Heavy on the musk in the drydown. All in all a clean, semi-sweet musk. Kinda generic. Nice if you just want to smell nice and fresh.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

The honey top is fleeting, then left with screechy LOTV, which lingers on and on. Really nothing here to suggest nectar.

I bought it blind from Ulta. Yes, oddly it does remind me of nectar a bit even though I’m not even sure what that smells like. I don’t smell a lot of beeswax but something I do smell that is not listed in the notes is gardenia. There is definitely gardenia in this perfume. It’s not sharp or sour like the original Be Delicious and Be Delicious Red. It’s a bit of a deviation from DKNY’s apple flanker norm which is refreshing. Still, I prefer the original and its red counterpart, but will use this throughout the summer months. I would wait until the cheaper perfume sellers get this in stock before buying it. It’s not worth the retail price but might be worth it at a discount.
They should have named this one “Bee Delicious”. If nothing else, the bottle is adorable.
