Ok, I have been trying to find a dupe of the 90s Replay by Morris scent for years now and nth! That said, I bought this [blind buy based solely on the description above] for my dad in the hope that it might just be similar, and well, it’s not. Still, it’s not a bad scent, but by no means is it as smooth or spicy as I was hoping. This is more of a woody, mature and a tad bit cheap scent. Great for every day but not special enough to be a signature scent. It is very European 80s [the first time you spray it, it does sting your nostrils hahahaha] but for what I paid I really can’t complain.

I wonder why it is spread the common place according to which german perfumes are clumsy, sometimes cloying too.
Perhaps this is due to the sillage of some fragrances by Hugo Boss, quite overbearing. But heart notes of Authentic by Marbert are poetic and dreamy, worthy of a japanese Zen garden. Waterlily essence prevails over the other, giving clarity and pureness to a bit sharp opening.
