Oud and rose are a good combination, but now I’m looking for a second perfume-oil and I’m getting a huge headache searching….Too many choices , too many arabic names, when I find something I like , the price is ridiculous…OMG :o(
By the way , Asgharali is a wonderful line of oriental scents…..just saying

One of the intriguing things about oud is the variety of its manifestations. My experience of oud: sometimes it’s “Skreeekh – eeek”, sometimes it’s “Aarrghhk!!!!”, sometimes it’s “Really?” and now and then it’s “Wow! OK I get it”. Here it’s “Hush, let me play you some music…” – and I really get it.
I’m sure that oud is not the only noteworthy note in this fragrance, but the notes aren’t published (it seems). Do any other fragranticans know the notes that make up this magical thing?
Before trying this (from a sample – I love trying Arabic fragrances) I thought here we go, be prepared for another macho oudy punch to the shoulderblade. But no, it is tender and sweet and subtle and rich and hypnotic and gently aromatic, really lovely, like perfect suede. It’s unusual, but I can’t imagine it being anything but lovely on anybody.
I wish I could have a whole bottle full now, to treasure like a miser his gold, but I cannot find any of this anywhere.
