I am a huge fan of Kiehl’s Aromatic Blends.(The Orange Blossom and Lychee is a fabulous fragrance) This Nashi Blossom and Pink Grapefruit is beautiful and works so well with my skin. It’s simplistic in the two notes mentioned but so much more indepth. I love the clean freshness of the pink grapefruit and the lovely floral of the pear blossom. I’m so happy I found two 3.4 oz at a fragrance outlet last year. I was going to keep one and give the other to my sister. But when I found it was $75 on Kiehl’s website and was out of stock, I decided to keep both for myself. This is a must have in anyone’s collection if you like natural scents. Sillage and longevity on my skin was moderate. I can still smell it on my clothes days later as I’m doing laundry. Yummy, yummy scent.

I just picked up a 30ml bottle today after testing all of Kiehl’s scents and found that this one appealed most to me. I should have picked up a bottle of the Fig and Sage as well since I also found it quite enjoyable. The grapefruit opening is exquisite and and I agree with other’s evaluations regarding the floral dry down, which I also quite liked. Unlike some leaving their reviews here, I found that it had pretty decent longevity and projection but that again just goes to prove that fragrances become so individual, working with each user’s chemistry. For me, Kiehl’s Nashi Blossom and Pink Grapefruit is a keeper and warrants my going out to purchase a 100ml bottle to keep in my summer lineup.

It opens as a beautiful pink grapefruit but dries down floral. The dry down actually reminded me a bit of Alien so although jasmin is not listed in the notes, I’m thinking there’s some floral in this composition; I guess this is where the nashi blossom comes in.

I am a bit disappointed with the Kiehl`s brand fragrances. I had especially high hopes for this one. BUT it has no lasting power at all- just the same as the rose and fig fragrances.

Like this a lot, great blend of two of my favorite notes. The sharpness of the grapefruit balances the sweetness of the nashi pear blossom very well. Like the bottle too!

Wow!!! Amazing Kiehls really know what they’re doing when it comes to stripped back simplicity and natural composition.
This is a very appealing bitter sharp grapefruit note which smells wonderfully real…this is so refreshing for the summer great fragrance but might even be a little too sharp and certainly too linear for me…still great though and I may change my mind after a few wears.
upadate: This is my favourite from Kiehls so fresh and really does smell like pink grapefruit this might be added to my summer arsenal!

The opening of this smells exactly like the smell that fills the air as you make the first cut into a large, ripe grapefruit. Zesty, juicy, and more bitter than sweet. A little bit sharp, and there is a slight leafiness to it. This lasts for all of 5 minutes, and then it drastically tones down to warm, sweet, musky floral, which I’m guessing is the pear blossom. The drydown and the opening are completely different, and the grapefruit part of this scent truly was lost on me after the initial five minutes. One spray to the arm lasted around thirty minutes before fading into a skinscent.

I love going to bed with kiehl’s!! This smells so natural and fresh. The sweet notes are moderately mixed with the florals which enables you to enjoy the same beautiful scent all throughout. This fragrance transcends age and boundaries. It’s such a friendly scent that everyone will enjoy. A definite ‘must have’ and a ‘keeper’.

Freshy, revigorating and inspiring. The sense of freshness and the simplicity in its notes change Nashi Blossom into a stunning fragrance with a unique scent. Exotic and no other fragrance could be described as similar.

This is a nice one! Very invigorating, subtle, cosy, calming. Good staying power as being a body mist. Got a sample from Kiehl`s Helsinki Stockmann. Grapefruit is here so fresh that it makes me thursty!I got also a sample from the body lotion and it´s also very nice and moisturizes skin well. Many thanks to Kiehl´s!

Fruity, a little bit floral and slightly sweet. Grapefruit is not very sharp smelling like many out there. It’s very light and sheer, good for summer. This doesn’t last very long, need to reapply every 1-2 hours. Aromatic Mist is very appropriate name for it, not really perfume.
Update:
I got a little zealous and gave it too many sprays throughout the day. Beware, it can end up smelling like amonia.

The new aromatic mist collection from Kiehls is a success to my nose. NASHI BLOSSOM & PINK GRAPEFRUIT offers a perfect blend of fresh pear blossoms and grapefruit. Imagine eating a freshly sliced grapefruit in the middle of a pear tree orchard. There you have it, in essence: NASHI BLOSSOM & PINK GRAPEFRUIT!
I do not believe that I can tease out either the ginger or the soy milk (????) in this composition, both of which are listed on the box, but it doesn’t matter. The important point is that, whatever the notes are supposed to be, this is a fine, lightly floralized grapefruit scent. I recall discovering as a child that one should never eat grapefruit before a bowl of cereal, but only the other way around. Fortunately, no milk-citrus conflict arises at all in this context.
Very natural, simple, and not overly sweet, NASHI BLOSSOM & PINK GRAPEFRUIT has only one flaw: poor longevity. According to the box, musk is also a note, but the solution is dilute enough that the lighter citrus and floral notes do not really bind to the musk sufficiently to keep the scent alive for more than a couple of hours.
Truth in advertising has prevailed here, however, for right on the box are printed the words: Aromatic Mist. No one should be surprised, then, by the evanescent quality of this creation, and some will be deterred from buying it for that reason. I’d like to point out that the longevity rivals some of the L’Artisan Parfumeur edts, which I realize is faint praise, but the point is that the value of this seemingly expensive “body spray” (= mist) is not as bad as it might to some at first glance seem.
I mainly wear these creations as “palate cleansers”, so to speak, between other perfumes or else because I’m looking for something specifically light and natural smelling. It would be wonderful if Kiehls got the memo and released these scents at eau de parfum concentration.
The old-fashioned apothecary bottles are attractive to me. They remind me of retro-toasters and blenders. Why not perfume bottles, too?

Opens very bright and citrusy and loving grapefruit I was pleased. This quickly grows softer however, with a more floral scent creeping in and taming the grapefruit. The grapefruit remains present however and overall this is a very summery and bright fragrance. I wasn’t very impressed with the staying power though, which surprised me as the Vanilla & Cedar one is quite good in this respect.
slesar88 – :
I tested this on skin and it is by far the best grapefruit scent I’ve tried so far. It’s sweet and uplifting, and just the slightest bit floral from the pear blossom. It definitely brought to mind pink grapefruit rather than yellow grapefruit, and it didn’t have any of the sharpness I am used to in other fragrances that contain grapefruit. It didn’t seem to last too long on me, but it definitely warrants a retest! My first impression is that I love it!

I got a paper sample of this today at Dillards. Absolutely wonderful from what I could tell.
