This is a love poem of a perfumery! I am so so in love. Smells tuberose, ylang ylang and amber to me. Perfect for very special occasions as it is sadly very expensive. I must save up for it. Sigh…

blast of pepper in the opening then very sweet tuberose, ylang and neroli layered with amber and lots of benzoin; a warm, deep, spicy floriental that is lovely

Daring, unforgettable, the amber is a provocateur here, example.
I just met her and with a glance you know about a secret she keeps somewhere.

If a perfume could speak, this one speaks! And it speaks as if from an ancient library of great wisdom. It speaks gently of deep thoughts to arouse you from the fog of slumber. With generous hospitality, it offers somethings sweet, delectable, too beautiful to eat. Then settles you back into the comfort of softness like a bed of sun heated leaves under a canopy of blue skies filling you with the promise of never fading from your very ordinary life. Its captures you into a place that you choose to never forget the priviledge of being there.

Today was a cold spring good time for trying Armani Prive Rouge Malachite. Malachite or “Dicopper carbonate dihydroxide” is one Egyptian pious stone with health benefits that made in cooper mines. So Armani used rouge color to introduce fiery fact of green Malachite face. Rouge Malachite is a perfect Oriental-floral scent which all notes have best dosage in its blend. Tuberose is most dominate note in this scent & as representative of white flowers family, has smooth, warm, seductive and little sweet creamy sense. Pepper add a bit spicy touch in start. Let me say that Benzoin has key role in balances Rouge Malachite strucure. And one gorgeous dry down by sweet amber. This perfume is more feminine in my opinion & very good choice for lovely evening fall/winter wearing.

Armani Prive Rouge Malachite is in one word, heavenly. It took some time to track this fragrance down, as many Armani stockists in my area have only a select few fragrances from the Prive line. Seeing how well-loved this fragrance is however they should re-consider stocking it as part of their range.
My wedding day is fast approaching and I am still yet to decide on my bridal fragrance. Rouge Malachite has very quickly become a firm contender.
Rouge Malachite changes quite a bit throughout its development. The initial spray is a creamy, lush tuberose with a hint of smoky spice. The spiciness most likely originates from the bay leaf accord, however, it smells reminiscent of smoked tobacco on my skin. It’s sensual and soothing rather than stale.
The heart loses the spice and in turn becomes sweeter and creamier with notes of orange blossom, jasmine and ylang-ylang. The drydown is a delicious blend of creamy white tuberose on a syrupy amber base.
Rouge Malachite is by far one of the sexiest tuberose fragrances I have ever had the pleasure of smelling. It’s not at all virginal and buttery like most tuberose dominant fragrances tend to be. It’s a stand-out for sure.
The longevity and sillage are superb, and although this fragrance retails at a slightly higher price than a majority of the Armani Prive line, I consider it money well spent.

A beautiful perfume, with three distinct phases on me:
The first one, beautiful sunny and a bit beachy tubersose, of excellent quality, reminiscent of Orchid Soleil (only nice).
Second phase, tuberose almost goes, and we have the woody drydown of Alien Absolue (mid notes).
Third phase, the drydown, reminds me a little bit of the drydown of Good Girl, and I smell something synthetic like ambroxan or Iso E super.
Overall, I really liked Malachite Rouge. But factors like its resemblance to these perfumes, its moderate longevity and very high price do not make it a necessity to my collection.
Now if I had a penny for every time I said this…

This is nice. It leans feminine. I was wearing Oud Minerale when I smelled it, and the two actually combined and reminded me of sitting on the beach wearing suntan lotion. Happy accident.

Beautiful bottle and fragrance. Reminds me of Mugler’s Alien but softer and more elegant. Good for nighttime and special events.

Absolutely divine. I completely adore it, it’s my signature scent, and the most wonderful fragrance in the world!!! The most beautiful tuberose I’ve ever smelt!! Divine!! Glorious!!!! So sensual. It is deliciously strong and lasts for ever, and my husband also adores it and wears it himself! We both smell so gorgeous together!!! It’s lovely!!! I get compliments from everyone, who all tell me I smell sexy and beautiful and magnificent! It’s such a wonderful dreeeeam of a perfume!!!!!
And the bottle is also the most beautiful thing. It’s completely magnificent! The most stunning bottle I’ve ever seen, and the most perfect red of all time! I love it!!!!
It’s the most beautiful, sweet, herby, woodsy tuberose; so alluring and feminine on me, and I can’t stop smelling myself – not that I have to sniff my skin to smell it: it wafts gently around me all day, so I’m in seventh heaven all the time. It’s beautiful, beautiful!!!! Totally GLORIOUS!!!!! I am completely bewitched by this fantastic perfume!!!

Too heavy. Smells like the holidays. A little too masculine and gourmand for my taste

I recently became obsessed with Tuberose fragrances, after Tom Ford’s Orchid Soleil I was after something a little more restrained, and this fits the bill perfectly. The tuberose is dominate, but restrained, most likely reigned in by the amber and the usually intrusive ylang ylang. I don’t really get any jasmine or orange blossom. There is a creaminess that I adore in this fragrance, though this is nothing revolutionary as tuberose and “creaminess” can be found in many fragrances. But here it is done extremely well. The end result is a perfectly balanced scent that whilst opens with a touch of spice, quickly settles to the core of the fragrance and doesn’t change much from there. It does, in some respects, remind me of a very old perfume my mother used to wear, that I cannot for the life of me remember the name. So I personally feel that this is a slightly modern interpretation of a classic scent.
It sits on the feminine side of fragrances, but that’s not to say a male could not wear this. I personally don’t subscribe to male or female perfumes.
The strength is phenomenal, the sillage is excellent. The bottle is stunning.

Sexiest fragrance I own!!!The packaging is beautiful however sometimes I cannot spray on skin because it is too sensitive.

    Excellent smell!
Personally, I love mixing jasmin with amber.
And the chocking color of the bottle is just “Style”!

Before beginning I just need to admit that I am a complete and willing slave to the Armani Prive line. With only 2 exceptions (Rose Alexandrie & La Femme Blue) I own and adore the entire collection. So please read the following ‘review’ with that prejudice in mind.
Despite my love of Armani Prive, it was with some trepidation that I approached Rouge Malachite as tuberose is not a note that I usually enjoy. There’s usually something fleshy and (almost) a bit rotten about the accord, like fruit that is just about to turn, or even in some extreme cases like a bodily musk.
In contrast Rouge Malachite is a very safe and restrained interpretation of tuberose. Like others have said before me, the rather sweet and very prominent amber base (which is actually present very early on) is the likely culprit keeping the usually somewhat offensive (at least to me) aspects of tuberose at bay. It’s still very clearly a tuberose fragrance but for those of you like me who tend to shy away from tuberose, this very well might suit your taste for heady florals.
It’s a somewhat simple fragrance and beyond the tuberose and amber there are only hints of jasmine and benzoin to be found. I couldn’t detect any orange blossom or clary sage. There’s maybe a hint of the pink pepper in the opening.
I don’t find this (or Vert Malachite) to be particularly masculine or feminine and think that it clearly falls into the unisex category with ease.
Longevity is stellar at at least 11 to 12 hours and actually I can smell traces of it way after that. It doesn’t scream out loud though and has respectable sillage and projection.
All that aside, I did purchase a bottle (let’s be honest unless it was a stinker I was always going to add this to my collection!) and what a bottle it is. In person this very beautiful marbled red glass bottle appears as if it was made for and should only belong to royalty.

‘Rouge Malachite’ opens brilliantly with a spicy and white floral accord composed of tuberose, clary sage, and pink pepper. The redolent and sultry tuberose is softly sweet and mesmerizing. Here it is punctuated rather beautifully with a sparkling pink pepper note which vibrates the senses. The use of pink pepper in this fragrance is one of the most memorable for me to date. Pink pepper settles the heady floral qualities of the tuberous by lending a peppery albeit sharp and fruity scent. Clary sage offers a herbaceous and minty edge, further embellishing the leading tuberose. The heart of the composition is comprised of fragrant orange blossom, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, cashmeran musk and benzoin. Orange blossom and jasmine add their indolic majesty to the white floral bouquet, while ylang-ylang has been relegated to the background and not highly perceivable. Throughout the life of the fragrance, there is a radiating inner warmth which seems to arise from the single amber basenote. This amber is dynamic and enveloping, with subtle woody facets and a resinous core. The effect is carnal and rapturous.
Rouge Malachite’ is another artful inclusion within the Armani / Privé collection of fragrances. Of the two fragrances, ‘Rouge Malachite’ seems to register slightly more unisex than the previously reviewed ‘Vert Malachite’, which is more overtly feminine. The included spicy, woody and warmer notes of pink pepper and amber dampen the characteristically feminine white florals, thereby offering a greater unisex appeal. As with its counterpart, this fragrance also comes in an “eau de parfum” concentration, giving it excellent sillage, projection and longevity. I feel the fragrance may be utilized year-round, though it seems best suited to the transitional seasons of spring and fall. ‘Rouge Malachite’ is a charismatic scent, one which should not be worn by the faint of heart. Its hedonistic aroma may ignite passions which will not soon be forgotten.

Rouge malachite is a creation by Giorgio Armani that embodies the malachite mineral that is used in Russian architecture and most notably the Malachite Room in the Winter Palace, St. Petersburg.
Armani has paid homage to the semi-precious stone in the form of two new fragrances: Rouge Malachite and Vert Malachite, I instantly knew that Vert Malachite wasn’t for me and went for Rouge. The bottle is a dense opaque beauty with a red “tie-dye” effect that is reminiscent of the bands that appear on the malachite stone. The juice inside truly reflects the exterior: I could detect rich tuberose in full bloom and as you may or may not know I LOVE TUBEROSE. Néroli and orange blossom shortly made a grand entrance and serenaded me with a sensual olfactory lullaby. A truly marvellous scent and a fantastic introduction to the Armani Privē range which I had not purchased from/sampled previously!
With regards to longevity RM starts off as a powerhouse with extremely good projection and silage, after 4 hours or so it remains close to the skin but I don’t mind topping it up. Truly marvellous, I’d rate it 8/10.

I had the good luck of sampling this niche scent sillage is very good as for longevity its epic believe me coz i had it sprayed on a card yesterday and now its still there present and strong, quality is beautiful but nothing
new its to feminine and I think it should be only for the ladies rose rose and more rose .
the color is very nice but its to expensive I dont get it 300$ + ,I bought the oud royal few years back it was for half price exactly it doesnt make any sense everything went price up during the past years but not the double.
    happy sniffing

It smells so familiar! I can’t remember what this reminds me of.
Very long lasting, not changing, quite linear and simple a bit spicy woodsy tuberose.
Very long lasting on my dry skin. It is sweet, but not gourmand.
Too expensive for a scent with such little development. Good silage. Got annoying after several hours – same strength, no development.
Smells expensive though, but very familiar. In dry down I get a very little bit more flowers and amber.
Nice bottle, just not interesting enough fragrance to my taste.

Today had a wonderful experience at the debut day in Moscow. The fragrances are dedicated to Russia and soon Pascal Gaurin the author of Rouge Malachite is going to come to promote his creation.
The fragrances, especially Rouge, scream quality. They both are fully white florals with a quite similar milky lily/tuberose note in the center. The Vert combines it with watery/citrusy accords, when the Rouge is enriched by warm ambers/woods, maybe a touch of vanilla. The Rouge is becoming sweet in the base in a good way; the Vert stays the same.
The sad thing is the price – 250 euro in Russia too much for the white flowers… It would be better to find something similar at the womens part of department store, and 5x times cheaper.
