I don’t feel confident using all the fragrance terminology yet since I am new here. I can say that I thought the description of Aquasun sounded wonderful to me. I ordered a bottle and it does not smell good to me at all. Nothing like my expectations….:( and not good with my chemistry. My usual scent is Herve Leger and I am devastated that it has been discontinued and this was my 2nd attempt at something new without smelling before buying.

This is quite a strange perfume. I find its top notes a bit hard to bear: very powdery and slightly chemical smell of orange blossom, combined with something I thought to be blackcurrant.
I was traveling and wasn’t able to wash it off right away, so after about half an hour, a delicious wave of heliotrope and peach splashed me with a mist of sweetness – a complete 180 degree change, which I am quite fond of.
“Aquasun” didn’t overwhelm me with sillage, but I could still smell it 10 hours after spraying. Its basenotes are mostly fresh: a citrus-spirited combo of peach and amber, I guess.
So, heliotrope lovers, be patient for half an hour, then you get a delight for the senses, “sun” first, “Aqua” some hours later! Oh, and the more you like orange blossom too, the better!:)

I had smelled & tested both Aquasun and its “sister” perfume Aquazur.
In my opinion, Lancaster makes high quality perfumes. Aquasun fragrance is for passionate nights, full of dance, romance and love!
Keeping all of this in mind, that’s the reason why I had then decided to purchase it. I now remember that when I first used it on me, Aquasun hadn’t let me down a bit!
So, after its last “spritzz” three years ago, I decided to purchase once more, in order to finally be reminded once again of those beautiful memories I had long ago.

I love this perfume! It smells like lazy sunny day on the beach – sun, salty water, hot sand, white flowers,
margarita and great sex!
