Absolute knockout of a fragrance! Signature scent worthy seeing it’s a massive compliment getter, versatile, outstanding performance, INSANE projection, and doesn’t smell like a typical mall fragrance. Extremely affordable for a niche fragrance. The point of wearing fragrance for most (not all) is to smell incredible. This one accomplishes that in a BIG way!! 9/10

I was disappointed with this release after the huge hype that surrounded it. Although it has interesting notes breakdown and mass appealing opening,
I found it harsh and poorly blended and the oud / leather is overly artificial and rough. I had simialr reaction to dunhill desire extreme where the lovely blood orange did not blend well with the leather note. Here it is the same case with the beautiful lemon and mandarin where they got sabotaged by the chemical oud and the rest of the heavy stuff. Citruses goes with cedar wood not agar wood in my opinion.

I got a bottle 120 ml, brand new, unopened and sealed, but I never have open it. So if someone has an interest he can have it for 99 euro. The price includes the shipping.
    To Europe only.

I was not expecting to like this scent, but I REALLY like it!
I get wood and lemon competing in the opening. Later it evolves into something more like vanilla/almond/wood.
I love the quality of Mancera. The scents and the longevity are amazing–what you’d expect from a pricey perfume.
I like knowing that no matter which Mancera scent I order, I’ll probably like it.
Aoud Lemon Mint would smell great on my bf, too. Maybe even better than on me.
As a result, no risk in ordering a bottle–one of us will wear it for sure!

If God had a perfume, I think it would be this one.
Smelled quite a lot of perfumes ranging from Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, DKNY to Chanel, Dior, Armani, Xerjoff, By Kilian, Annick Goutal, Nejma, Byredo … and some more, all niche… done some research aswell, not mentioning the private collections of Chanel, Dior, Armani, Guerlain.
Considering the lingering oud that gives to lemon and mint so much character, this can be considered one of the most sublime citrusy-woody scents on the market. The drydown is terrific, the mint is not that boozy – cocktaily type one, but a dried flat plant that you just picked up from the sun after a long and hot summer. Then, this oud-lemon combo that resembles a bit to the orange smell but in a sweetish way. It is worth trying if you love the woody based citrusy scents. Suits all year round, casual and even formal occasions – very versatile. 10/10
You’ll get beast sillage in the first few hours and longevity – you can detect it even after shower.

    Oh MAN – bummer!
I bought this as a blind buy based on reviews and its only the second time I am struggling to find something positive other than the fact I’m glad I didn’t buy a bottle and only grabbed some sample vials.
In fact I only wrote this today and Gucci Guilty up as I guess I just learned that sometimes your affected so much the wrong way you just need to get it out.
Umm… I get the mint and lemon and I understand how some of the ingredients mix in but WOW it just reminds me of COUGH DECONGESTANT – everything is such a mish mash other than the mint. I was pinching myself thinking surely my reasoning must find something – natta – nothing – even a second try made my think only of a syrupy cough decongestant.. I even scrubbed it off twice (a first for me) waiting 30 minutes for at least a change…wheres the Aoud? – its hidden somewhere…
I always thought I could be objective writing about a scent but I just don’t get this ones existence – You know – I’ve read some reviews and it scarily looks like i’m exactly on board with the negatives and agree with many saying they don’t gel with Mancera or Montale (yipes thats another coincidence too).
I am happy to prove the brand wrong and I’ve ordered Red Tobacco (again based on reviews) from Mancera I will let you know straight away what I think.
    Happy Smelling
EDIT : July 29 2018 – Well, turns out possibly there is an ingredient or make up regarding Mancera that doesn’t work with my skin. My friends tried Red Tobacco and it smelled much better on them! Still, other scents work fine on me?!

I was very harsh on this in the beginning. Maybe my nose was off. This is nice stuff. Probably the most easiest and wearable scent from Mancera for me that I’ve tried along with cedrat boise. The opening on this is almost fizzy like a 7-up vibe, super nice! Sweet and very fresh and effervescent. It’s not as nice though as it dries down when the leather and vetiver come out more but it still beats the hell out of most others from this brand . I don’t get crazy projection but longevity is very decent. I really wish the opening stayed a lot longer and there wasn’t any of the rougher notes especially that leather! but overall still a decent scent . I wouldn’t buy this based on the scent not being as nice the more it’s dries down though.. really disappointing!
Dry down is absolutely revolting. Maybe I wasn’t so harsh overall… this house blows!
The association to Aoud blue notes is very misleading in my opinion. They smell nothing alike and I’m very thankful for that because I hate aoud blue notes!

Many fragrance connoisseur rank fragrances by quality, performance, longevity, sillage, value, and so on. The house of Mancera checks all the boxes almost everytime with their creations; and Aoud Lemon Mint is definitely not an exception; it checked all the boxes in every single category.
This is one of the few woody/fresh fragrances done perfectly. A combo of oud, lemon, and some flowery background, the oud here is “non skanky;” Lasts eternal, and apt in spring, summer, and fall.

This scent is amazing! The freshness the oud is just perfect on my west European skin!

    Very long lasting

My second review . This performs like a beast all day you will get noticed and even when you think the scent has faded down you will be wrong because people will still smell you meters away even after 8 hours plus . It gets compliments yes it’s a weird alluring scent . But I’m not sure if I’ll be buying another bottle because even though I love it so much it makes me almost nauseous and dizzy and I’m not sure if it’s the aoud combined with the mint or what .

Like all other Mancera fragrances I have tried, this one is super synthetic as well.
I do not get any mint here and the development is quite linear too. Starts with a harsh and headache inducing lemon bomb and dries down into an screechy rose-oud combo. So boring…
Yes, it does last up to 12 hours on skin with strong projection in the first 3-4 hours, but in an office environment you will suffocate yourself and others around you. 2 – 3 sprays should be enough…
Not suitable for warm and humid weather IMHO; could be better in cool spring and fall night outs.
Last but not least, the bottle is not very well made. It started leaking and therefore the coatings peeled off. Looks like a super cheap fragrance now.
Will never buy anything from Mancera and Montale again. Try before you buy….

I have both oud blue note and oud lemon mint. if you want to compare them in scent they are both a little bit similar, but oud blue note is better in scent, in performance oud lemon mint is better in longevity and sillage, so overall to me oud blue note is better than lemon mint and if I want to make blue as strong as lemon mint I spray 4 sprays, it is equal to 2 sprays of lemon mint.

I genuinely love mancera. I think they offer a great product! Unfortunately, I find a lot of redundancy in many of their offerings. this one, to me, bares a strong resemblance to aoud blue notes. A good fragrance, but too similar to warrant anything further than a test.

    Wow, this is potent!
This is an amazing Oud based fragrances for the summer. First, it starts with a blast of danky oud, lemon, vetiver and vanilla. Then, it slowly evolve to a tart citrus with the Oud in the back ground with a minty vibe and you can smell the almond notes in the background. Not a linear fragrances with different stage.
The longevity is crazy, got 12 hrs easily and projection is NUCLEAR. You can smell the fragrance on your clothes days after. Not a versatile fragrance because of his potency.
I only see it casual and maybe dates. 2 sprays is enough. Spring and summer
8/10 (it would be a 10/10 but it loose points on the versatility factor)

I’m a solid supporter of the brand, however almost ALL of these fragrances has a hint of something that closely reminds me of another one. This number isn’t too distant from “Aoud Line”. I look forward to Mancera introducing something completely different to the market one day — something that doesn’t consist of reusable ingredients such as Rose, Oud, and/or Musk.

What a great fragrance this is and an unusually fresh take on oud. You get the faintest hint of funkiness but the oud here is smoothed out by the creaminess of the almond, sweetness of the vanilla and bright fruitiness of the lemon. Oddly enough there is no mint listed in the notes, but there is a notable minty accord here. I don’t know which combination of notes accomplishes this but it is definitely there. And it’s more of a sweet mint accord rather than a bold menthol smell. It’s just a wonderfully refreshing fragrance that makes me smile every time I smell it. Performance on my skin is above average. It will last all day on me and takes hours to become just a skin scent and remains on my skin through the rest of the day giving me occasional whiffs of vanilla, musk, leather and amber. I also get similar performance from Cedrat Boise and Lemon Line so Mancera fragrances just seem to work well on me. If you are looking for a relatively safe oud fragrance I think this is a good place to start. You’re not going to get the whole barnyard with this one but just enough to appreciate the uniqueness of oud. Great stuff and highly recommended.

This one smells very good. Has some great projection. The citrus interacts very well with the Oud right out of the gate. Ling lasting for sure. This is definitely signature worthy. I find myself smelling this constantly. Great one!

A big hit of citrus, vanilla, vetiver and oud on the opening. My first thought was that it was rather masculine but I gave it some time and it got better. The vanilla came out much more and softened things up a bit. I still suspect it would smell even better on my fella. I can vaguely detect the almond and pepper. The patch and musk are much more evident after an hour or two.
Powerful silage and longevity pretty good as well.

Reminiscent of Aoud Blue Notes slightly, but only for the first 3 mins….
Aoud Lemon Mint is a wonderful scent; In fact, I am wearing this now and it is AMAZING!!
Aoud Lemon Mint has this distinctly sharp citrus (Lemon) thing that happens in the beginning along with the fruits (Mandarin mixed with the Lemon) and strong SWEETNESS (Vanilla; Almond; Egyptian Jasmine) that accompanies…the Aoud (Pepper, Oud, Leather, & Musk) follows in the background bringing with it a slightly creamy feel. Although mint is in the name, don’t be fooled into thinking there is mint in the fragrance because I detect none, Zilch, Nada, Zero, el nopie nope…(not a bad thing either).
Aoud Lemon Mint, is an airy sweet vanilla spicy fragrance that is lovely! Aoud Lemon Mint has balanced sharpness that is not burn your nose sharp; is slightly fruity and sweet; Gourmand but not foody or over the top gourmand; Spicy but not heavy; again the perfect balance-different from Roses Vanille, So Blue, and Aoud Vanille all from the Mancera line. If anything, similar to Aoud Blue Notes as already mentioned in the beginning….
Aoud Lemon Mint, has a great balance of Lemon citrus, Oud spice, and Vanilla that really places this fragrance in a nice gourmand/oriental category-not too sweet, not too spicy. All of the aforementioned fragrances are unique and hold their own and Aoud Lemon Mint is no different.
This fragrance is a BEAST in terms of projection; lite on the trigger!!
A very lovely fragrance that is masculine (IMO) that I intend to wear for many of my days!!
Projection: 10/10 (esp. on your clothes;)
    Longevity-8/10
    Performance-8/10
    Silage-7/10
    Overall-8/10

Aoud Lemon Mint fits well into the “fresh oriental” genre, as it consists mostly of a jasmine/vanilla combination accented by lemons and provided a cool edge through the addition of mint It’s important to note that these individual elements do not appear as such, and work together more to form what comes across as a singular accord. So what you get is a sort of sweet floral fragrance with a vague interpretation of vanilla, possessing a tart or sour edge, and delivered in a very fresh and cool way. You’ll pick up on the lemon, and as far as the mint is concerned it doesn’t come across as any kind of herbal spearmint, its interpretation instead seems aimed at creating a cooling effect, in something of a lightly sweet peppermint accent. As a fan of Mancera fragrances, I’ve come to take the titles of their fragrances with a grain of salt. As a result, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise to me that there is little, if any “Aoud” in this fragrance, and it doesn’t bother me either as oud is something I don’t think I’d want to see here anyway. Projection is strong, as this is somewhat “perfumey” and diffuses well. Longevity is solid. As far as its gender, Aoud Lemon Mint is one of those perfumes that feels totally unisex to me, but completely and better suited for men. What I mean is that although it’s not a typically “masculine” fragrance, I can really only imagine men wearing it. To draw a relevant comparison, Dior Homme is similar in this regard: Does it feel like a manly fragrance? No.It smells like lipstick and powder. But isn’t it best suited for men? Absolutely. Overall, it’s a pretty nice fragrance. Its downside is that, as I mentioned before, it has a “perfumey” quality to it which for some people can get annoying. (“Perfumey” = a powdery, diffusive white musky floral quality). It’s not too extreme in this regard, but whether or not you like it may depend on where your own personal tolerance threshold lies in regard to this aspect. As far as season and occasion are concerned, Aoud Lemon Mint seems best suited for spring while functional in fall and winter. I’d only be careful wearing it in the hot summer months. It can be dressed up or down, and for bringing it down you’d probably just apply less to create a more casual demeanor. Overall, this gets a thumbs up and is recommended for sampling. In the realm of Mancera fragrances, I find Aoud Lemon Mint most similar to Aoud Blue Notes. It has a similar personality and shares some general qualities with it.
One final note: The fragrance to which this is the most similar, in my experience, is Addictive Oriental, created by Alberto Morillas in 2015 for the Mercedes Benz VIP Collection. In fact they’re very similar save for the addition of lavender and tonka that are in Addictive Oriental. To create Addictive Oriental, Morillas used a hefty dose of Paradisone, an aromachemical similar to Hedione, which creates a very expansive and airy-sweet floral diffusion. It’s a synthetic interpretation of jasmine and a very powerful and effective note. I suspect that Paradisone was used in Aoud Lemon Mint as well. Paradisone’s aroma is fairly distinct and it’s quite apparent here, not to mention the fact that jasmine is also listed in Aoud Lemon Mint’s note pyramid. So, if you’re considering purchasing this, you may want to sample Addictive Oriental first. Not only is it similar, it’s also cheaper. And I’d even say that the main difference between the two is that Addictive Oriental is even more potent, with a stronger, wider projection. At a third of the price, it’s at least worth looking at before deciding on Aoud Lemon Mint.
