Stunning. On me, a beautiful white floral with a creamy tuberose. I get more plum than peach, altogether this is quite a sweet one. A natural but clean jasmine appears in a largely supporting role for the tuberose, which is glorious. The tuberose has a strong vanilla note, backed by a very pretty non-gourmand, dry and slightly boozy vanilla on drydown. I sense a little plum wine nuance to the boozy note. The tuberose is very persistent, lasts from open to close, but also changes throughout, from green to fruity to creamy; this tuberose may be one of the finest I have smelled. The green notes are very subtle, giving a fresh lift to the opening.
Beautiful balsamic Tonka bean-vanilla-amber-benzoin accord, matched with an otherworldly sandalwood. Soft but a little smoky, with a deep golden amber. The drydown has a skin scent quality, like warm human skin, with the tuberose floating above on a cloud of supporting florals, all very well composed and collegial, working together to create a spring meadow effect.
This review is frankly more like working notes, since I just tried this for the first time today, and I definitely will want to come back when I have had a chance to get to know this one better.
