Description

For all fans of fragrance Angel, Thierry Mugler presents a new glamorously designed bottle to announce the colder part of the year and prepare us for the upcoming holidays. The star shape remains the same, and dark glass leaves an irresistible and glamorous impression. The bottom arms of the star are embellished with numerous light blue and glittering dots evoking the clear sky and making the new look of the flacon mysterious and coveted.

Seductive dark blue star in the color of dark ink invites us to enjoy the glamorous world of Thierry Mugler fragrances, by offering fans of Angel another refillable star gem. Thierry Mugler Angel Glamorama is available in limited number as a refillable edition of perfume spray. This special glam-rock edition is announcing a collaboration with a new face of Angel, 22-year-old Georgia May Jagger. She follows her mother’s footsteps and appears on advertising posters and a video clip directed by Julien Zénier, 19 years after her mother, Jerry Hall, who was the advertising face of this fragrance from 1995 to 1997 in the campaign which presented her as seductive, long-legged ginger head lying on bluish sand dunes.

The composition of the cult Angel remains unchanged, irresistible, gourmand and memorable. Top notes create a cocktail of melon, coconut, mandarin, cassis, jasmine, bergamot and cotton candy. The heart is composed of honey, apricot, plums, blackberry, red berries and peach in harmony with floral notes of orchid, jasmine, lily of the valley and rose. The base is warm and intense, created of patchouli, tonka, amber, vanilla and musk, spiced with a gourmand layer of dark chocolate and caramel.

Limited edition Thierry Mugler Angel Glamorama is available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
Angel Glamorama was launched in 2014. Angel Glamorama was created by Olivier Cresp and Yves de Chirin.

I KNOW Angel 🙂 It has been the ONLY fragrance that I have never been without since 1994! Bottle after bottle. Other scents come and go into my life/collection but Angel is a permanent fixture! Up until a few years ago, 1-2 sprays would give me almost all day of compliments and joy. IFRA reformulations really, really hurt Angel’s longevity and sillage! Being fair and thank god, the scent still was the same or so close to the original, that I was ok. But man….I can use 7-10 sprays and Angel is not overwhelming! Back in the 90s or first 10 years of the 2000s….more than 2 sprays of Angel, and you could knock some people unconscious, LOL!
Enter Angel Glamorama!! Smells just like “regular” Angel, BUT…this lasts so much longer. It is very, very close to how Angel used to be. A couple of sprays and it is still there hours and hours later. My amazing husband has now found me 3 more bottles, since he knows how much I love Angel. I have at least 50 bottles of fragrance, and to this day, Angel is still the only one he asks me to wear. He likes TF Tobacco Vanille on me (I have the giant 8oz decanter), but Angel is just me!! Even our now almost 12 year old son has told me many times, that I always smell the same and he loves it!!

Even though I just recently discovered Angel for myself, it’s one of my all time favorites! Once smitten, I obviously had to get a bottle, but I’m not a fan of the blue one. Enter Glamorama!
There isn’t much more to say about Angel’s perfectly sweet, chocolatey patchouli, addicting lovliness that hasn’t already been said. I can comment on Angel Glamorama, however. I’ve been wearing the fragrance that comes in this bottle and I have to say it’s the exact same as the current regular Angel. I was skeptical, due to some of the reviews here so I even did a side by side comparison one night since I have an Angel purse spray (which was my initiation).
I hope this helps someone who is wondering whether they should get Angel Glamorama or stick with the Original they already have, or not, but know you’re collecting bottles rather than new scents. And if that’s your bliss, great!

I agree,,much more potent, with a cacao note that my other bottles don’t have as heavily!
It’s awesome! Do you need this if you have the regular clear with blue juice Angel?
Probably not,,but if your an Angel/ Muglier lover like me…then yes!❤️
    Oh,,and the bottle is wicked!
After drydown..I would definitely say this is sweeter!
And Angel works better on me in warm weather!shocking eh?

Okay, so I received this in the mail yesterday and did a little side-by-side comparison to the original Angel that I have (not old formulation, just the “main” Angel). I spritzed a little of both on my bathrobe. This was so much more mind-blowingly strong than the “main” Angel that I’m left wondering what the difference is and why. Maybe it’s a difference between batches rather than this being the pre-formulated formula, but who knows? I noticed on Angel’s page that the notes have changed, so perhaps I have the newer version of Angel & they filled this black bottle up with some “old” juice? I don’t know but I’m amazed. Sure, they are pretty much the same scent, but my blue Angel is mostly a little patchouli, vanilla, and something a little sweet, whereas this is BAM. So much more potent and it’s not all just in my head either.
I tested Angel a few years ago in Sephora & thought it was really nice then. When I purchased it, I was surprised to find that it was not as strong as I believed it would be from testing, but this Glamorama will do the job just fine since this IS strong. I’ll be wearing this tonight to get the full experience. 🙂

I bought this Glamorama and the 2013 version parfum liqueur on the same day online without know them. This Glamorama on my skin was very good, the opening is the same as the regular Angel but spending a few minutes I could feel a camphor note and a smell that reminded me coke bubbling in the glass. very good silage, optimal longevity and completely unisex.

Whoa! what’s going on here? The wife and I were at sephora yesterday (10/17/15) and as usual I brushed this aside thinking yeah yeah, different Angel bottle same juice. The wife came over and was like “oooh a new angel?” then she sprayed it and…
WHOA!! This is NOT the same angel as in the blue star bottle. This is in fact richer, stronger, bolder, darker! I was almost shocked! Could it be that they reformulated this back to its original formula and placed it in a darker bottle?
Whatever this is, it was creamy, dark, and luscious!
I hope to read more reviews o this soon, this one caught me by surprise!

This IS the original creation, as was that of 1992. It’s richer, stronger, heavier, thicker, sexier, and fabulously sexual :0
    just sayin!

It’s getting ridiculous with all those bottles with the same content. (Not just talking about Thierry Mugler). Why not release a new fragrance instead?

It’s just a new ltd ed bottle, it’s not a different fragrance

I’d be extremely interested in buying this if it is indeed a new fragrance, as the above description indicates. If it is the original Angel fragrance in a limited edition bottle I won’t buy it though as I already have an unopened backup bottle of Angel and always buy for the perfume rather than the bottle. Having said that the bottle does look gorgeous!
UPDATE: Just had a little look online and it seems that this is in fact the original Angel fragrance in a limited edition bottle. Pity…
