Pretty. Sweet accounts for “nice”, it’s not sugary. It would be nice for layering.

Powdery and not too sweet. One of the few almond fragrances not paired with vanilla or coconut. A marzipan almond, not almond milk.
Sits very close to the skin and longevity leaves something to be desired for a $50 fragrance. It was pretty close to the natural almond scent I was looking for, but I’m still exploring my options.

Acorelle AMANDE DE BLE opens like marzipan: sweet almond flour paste. Really very delicious.
From there, within about two minutes AMANDE DE BLE dries down to a smooth, somewhat woody ever-so-slightly floral almond powder. Unfortunately, this beautiful drydown disappears on my skin within about an hour. The fragrance appears to lack any significant form of fixative.
There are natural resins that would have worked here, but as it stands, AMANDE DE BLE is simply too evanescent a scent. Désolée!
