Far, far away – a Parker pen ink cartridge has collided with a melon on a beach. The sea breeze is blowing this aroma along the shore to where I’m sunbathing – a pretty blonde who resembles a life size barbie doll, walks over and asks me what I’m wearing – I give the analogy above – she then turns away and walks off unimpressed. Damn – I should have just said ‘Sospiro Allegro’ – I reckon I could have been ‘on’ there!
In case you’re wondering, this review is positive – I award ‘Allegro’ ten Samantha’s (who incidentally was the pretty blonde on the beach).

Here we have a bright citrus and aromatic cologne, with a happy, springlike demeanor. Allegro would be a nice fragrance to wear in warmer weather, because the citrus is sharp and zingy and energizing. The lavender is aromatic and there seem also to be some sort of herbs in here as well, although none are listed in the note pyramid.
This creation reminds me in some ways of Le Couvent des Minimes Eau des Minimes (which I was discussing with Vie Cafe only just today!). I don’t really detect anything in the way of oud here, but that’s fine with me. I do smell neroli.
Another reviewer has compared Allegro to Bond no 9 Hamptons, but I think that this smells more natural and less abstract. Still, I’d agree that they are in the same general camp: good vacation-time scents.

My Only Concern Is That It Has A Very Similar Vibe / DNA / Notes To Xerjoff’s Casamorati 1888 Mefisto. (Which In It Self Has A Similar Feel To Creed SMW / Bond No.9 Hamptons)
Don’t Get Me Wrong, This Doesn’t Lean As Much Towards Creed SMW / Bond No.9 As Mefisto …. It Goes A Little Sweeter & Unisex But Still I Am A Little Disappointed In The Lack Of Originality From The Xerjoff House, As I Am A Big Fan.
