Description

The word ” Attar “comes from the Urdu language and means” Fragrance Divine “, a definition which stresses the power of the magician in his wake. Formerly took the name of “Ittar” which in Arabic means “Heavenly Fragrance”.
According to legend, the birth of ‘ Attar is due to an accidental event. One day, the Persian Queen Nour-Dijhan, walking among the streams of the imperial garden, he noticed a veil fat floating on the water at the point where they drop thousands of roses. After collecting a few drops of that liquid gold with a peacock feather and it smelled, the queen was enchanted by what he called heavenly scent. Because of the sharp fall had been a natural process of distillation, which had brought to the surface the essence of the rose and gave birth to the first Attar of Rose. L ‘ Attar is completely free of alcohol and comes in an oily substance made by the soul alone, and only smelling extracted from natural raw materials, according to ancient procedures for processing.

nterwoven with golden hints of, the plot of Asrar, whose name in Arabic means “Secrets”, is decorated with notes, as if by magic, they appear under the nose an oriental garden nestled between Dream and Reality. The species chosen for this spell are among the most evocative in the world of fragrance and have been blended with care because their emotional power remains intact. A touch of saffron, a handful of spices, four drops of amber, musk, and then a puff of a distillate of Oudh, the bark of an infusion of exotic wood and sandalwood. A mixture of the extraordinary power that opens the door to the wonderful.

Available in 12 ml bottle.

A green oud fragrance. An elegant, rich green wood. Like a new branch stripped from a tree. An olfactory portrait. A beautifully executed animalic oud/vetiver pairing in top notes enveloped in a pale pale pink (almost white) Taifi rose and a rich slightly dirty musk. As the oud settles down the musk is stronger and it becomes more unisex and more of a perfume. On the masculine side with such a distinct accord and so memorable I keep wearing it. Plus it develops into a beautifully airy woody musk. A great attar.

oh man this is the weirdest amouage i’ve ever smelt.
the barnyard oud is right in the foreground in this, but it’s alongside a really REALLY odd component (or list of components). there’s like a leathery, curried vinegar sorta smell riding shotgun with the oud. the rose/floral notes are muted in the background, but by and large this one is hard to take.
my first reaction was ‘NO WAY!!!’ but it may calm down somewhat. let’s see…
it might be the accord struck between the oud-vetiver-rose. BOY is it odd…

I purchased this oil a bit ‘skeptical, I love the musky but the oud makes me’ a little ‘fear especially when it is’ the dominant note, but that ‘s not the case, the oud and’ very present but does not prevail on the flowering which is expressed as a caress, this’ a perfume-loving patience, more ‘time passes and better’ fragranza.Un the scent to be used with respect.

Just to highlight that the info on the explanation might be wrong, because it is written for asrar..below is the excerpt taken from zahra’s perfume
Al Shomukh is a blend of silver oudh, vetiver, musk Abyadh, rose Taifi and davana. Absolutely incredible!! The oud used in this fragrance is a smooth, very animalic one.
Silver Oudh, Vetiver, Musk Abyadh, Rose Taifi and Davana. Wearable for men and women, although to me it seems to tend even a bit more on the masculine side. After the deep, animalic top and heart, it dries down to a very dry base of hay notes and vetiver. Never smelled another fragrance that starts animalic before turning to a smooth, green-sepia base! A very unusual combination of amber and herbacious notes. Like the other attars, its price may be quite high, but worth every single cent: one single drop is enough and lasts for hours and hours
