I found this fragrance whilst searching once again for a perfume that smells similar to my favourite scent, Lush’s discontinued shower gel, ‘Tramp’. ‘Tramp’ consists of white horehound infusion (musky), balm infusion (melissa officinalis, a gentle lemon scent), patchouli oil, oakmoss absolute and eugenol (clove).
‘Ahubbak Maut’ has a number of the key ingredients I was looking for. When it arrived, my first sniff was very positive. It seemed to be delivering the kind of fragrance I was looking for. Within some minutes, I began to get the distinct smell of vanilla, a smell I dislike. However, this perfume is not supposed to have any vanilla, so I am assuming it is the lemon oil I’m smelling. Then I realised I recognise this smell, it is just like Dior’s ‘Addict’ that I used to own. My husband confirms he likes the smell of ‘Ahubbak Maut’ and also noticed it smells like ‘Addict’. ‘Addict’ has a strong vanilla accent which is why I stopped wearing it.
After a day of wearing it, I was getting a distinct sickly sweetness which I was struggling with a bit. The overall scent is not too strong but good, has reasonable longevity, but at this price, easy enough to top up. Time will tell, but I think I will wear this daily but the search goes on. If anybody knows of a perfume that smells like Lush’s ‘Tramp’ I would love to know.
