L’Occitane en Provence is launching another collection this year, which is inspired by the lush flora of Brazil and accentuates the gentle and delicate flowers of aquatic hyacinth characteristic of the fragrances and accompanying body care products of the new Aguape collection.
“The simple beauty of Aguape, precious flowers that decorate rivers and lakes of the Pantanal region in Brazil bloom in clusters as floral bouquets on the water. Floating as decorations that nature provides on the rivers, they create passages to sailors and decorate their routes with flowers and scents. Eau de cologne Aguape incorporates the scents of the gracious flowers in a delicate scent in which water slides on the skin like Aguape on the water’s surface. The fragrance includes extract of Aguape flower”.
The collection Aguape along with fragrances also offers body milk, body bath and soaps.
Aguape was launched in 2014.

Recently acquired this during one of L’Occitane’s 50% off seasonal sales. Aguape is a very light and lovely watery floral. Very feminine and not overly sweet. Given it’s airy quality I don’t foresee it having much longevity, but it’s perfect for daytime and spring time wear. A new favorite.
