Description
Adidas Extreme Power Special Edition is a new fragrance by Adidas,
transferring power and excitement of football. Tension while you are
walking down the field, and focus on the opposing team bring you
enormous power that you can feel inside, just like the power of your
own personal instincts. Adrenaline encourages supporters on the
bleecehers who warm up the atmosphere before the first hit in the
game. And finally a hit – the game begins!
Adidas Extreme Power depicts the feeling of extreme powers, instinct
and stamina with its composition announced as aromatic-woody. This
edition is an overture to the European Football Championship and is
promoted by Zinedine Zidan. The composition offers an energizing
opening, with lemon, bergamot and galbanum, adding characteristic and
surprising coffee extract in a heart, combined with galbanum and
GrannySmith apple. A base provides white cedarwood, patchouli,
Australian sandalwood and tonka beans.
The flacon is modern and has ergonomic design. Its details reflects
the shape of football ball and colors reflect sporty style.Details on
the tag and stopper are bright red, while outer carton is dark with an
image of a football ball. The assortment includes: 50ml edt, after
shave 100ml, shower gel 250ml, spray deodorant 150ml, deodorant
roll-on 50ml. The collection hits the shelves in March 2012.
Vanyt – :
Early spray you will smell tonka beans, after an hour you smell something fresh and sweet, i like it. And base note smell something like woody but not sure what it is. Works well in hot climate but the performance is not that good.

This should be called “La nuit de l’Homme Sport”
It shares the sweetness and alluring vibe of La nuit. It’s performance is relatively weak but the scent is so good it’s worth reapplying troughout the day. My favorite Adidas fragrance so far!
werwer – :
Bought it on amazon, loved it, like everyone says the silage is pretty shit but it is also very cheap so it all nets out in the end.
It is a terrific after shower, after gym EDT, it is not meant to be a cologne you wear to an event. I purely use it as an alternative to a deodorant, I wear it with an un-fragnaced deodorant and use this as the fragrance for that.
vovakuzmin3 – :
One of my favorite scents, energizing (not to be cliché), sweet and rich smell. I really wish it performed better, but for its price you can reapply every couple hours with no regrets. Worth buying, i’m on my third bottle.
Pencil_Torch – :
Warm, spicy frag made of tonka bean, pepper and green apple, maybe a pinch of coffee but I’m not sure about that. Lasts great for the price- almost 10 hours on skin if I spray it on the neck, when I apply it on dry parts of skin it lasts less.

As others have commented this is one of the best colognes put out by Adidas. Two others I really enjoy from Adidas is Active Bodies (Discontinued) and Victory League. Adidas Moves is popular too, but it’s not one that fits this middle age guy.
As with literally all Adidas colognes, Extreme Power does not last long. The only exception is Active Bodies (original) which was literally a beast of a fragrance. Extreme Power is still nice though, and absolutely perfect for the gym before and/or after your workout. Smells a lot like many shower gels for men and aftershaves so it’s unquestionably male. Nothing feminine or unisex about this one.
Objelaben – :
Easily the best from the Adidas budget line. Easily. There’s a depth and richness here that is nowhere to be found in other Adidas fragrances. This is not soapy, synthetic, or cheap smelling at all. The tonka note is exquisite.
Of course “Extreme Power” is a bit of a misnomer, as this fragrance still succumbs to the rest of the usual Adidas pitfalls of poor longevity and sillage. I don’t get more than 4 hours out of it. That’s a real shame, because the scent itself is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else from this house, and that’s including the popular Moves. It’s clearly designed for gym use-just like the rest of the line-but if it lasted longer, it would be an excellent choice for a casual, everyday young man’s fragrance.
In any case, if you’re for whatever reason confronted with a decision between several $8 Adidas colognes at a discount store…go with this without hesitation.

This is by far, the most complimented fragrance I have ever worn by Adidas. Sillage is moderate (around 3 feet) and it has good longevity for me (8-10hrs). A few months ago I switched over from Deep Energy to Extreme Power. I find Extreme Power to be a bit richer/deeper due to the tonka bean at the forefront. My body chemistry accentuates on patchouli very well so I can smell that ingredient all day. On initial application I get mostly tonka bean with a little lemon and bergamot. On drydown the tonka bean is still there but merges to give more of a sweet amber scent to me. At the end of my 10hr day I can still pick up on tonka bean, patchouli, and bergamot.

Adidas Extreme Power a really good fragrance to put on after a workout, here in Ireland and UK you can buy the complete line of toiletries (even arranged as a full set and matching toiletry bag)for little money and they all compliment each other perfectly.
Fresh warm and slightly spicy, I agree with the previous reviewers, this one punches above it’s weight, especially for its reasonable pricing. Whoever created this obviously have real talent.
Extreme Power also reminds me of another fragrance I have (a much more expensive one at that) but just can’t put my finger on it yet, will update when I do.
Very Well done! 🙂

Greetings everyone,
Wanted to express positive opinion about this cologne.
Shortly put it is sweet, fresh, warm, unlike other reviewers I do not sense much of coffee here, but tonka bean is indeed major player in this case.
Unlike most other Adidas EDTs this one smells better than what you pay for. Do not expect great projection or longevity – I usually get just a few hours (3max) and after a few minutes after applying you basically get a very nice, warm and clean feeling.
I like it. I like it a lot as a simple, yet good sporty fragrance. It was not made to last hours and hours. It was not made to cast a cloud of sensuality or whatever around the user.
Its a cologne that I end up using a lot, because I keep it in my gym bag. But don`t get me wrong – I end up using it a lot, especially after work outs and not only. I used it for dates a few times, and the girl loved it also.
It is cheap, it is synthetic, however it projects quality. I wish it was a bit more potent – so I could take it from my gym bag more often, but well… its ok!
If you are looking for a cheap, yet nice mens cologne that can be used after a workout or for a Saturday get away adventure – take it. It will ignite some sporty attitude in you!
I can give it 8/10 in the cheapie/sporty category.
Good luck,
AJ

I love the way this smells. To me it’s fresh and a bit oriental in a way. I sometimes think I smell melons when I wear this. I’m sure there is a joke in there somewhere. Melon smeller.;)
I get compliments constantly when I wear this one. “Oh you smell good.”
Yes, It is cheap, synthetic, and generic.
But I only paid $5.99 CAD for it, and you can’t deny that it just smells good.
(It was sold at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada during the summer of 2012. Not sure where it is sold now, if anywhere.)

As others have pointed out, this is a supernice fragrance from Adidas, their best so far. Anything from Adidas smells good and a bit low-budget, but this one is on a higher level. I like it more and more. Opens fruity/citrus/woodie, after a while the Wood is more dominant and the tonka creeps in successively. To me, the projection and longevity are quite good, leaves many more pricey scents behind in the power department. I don’t care really much in the design of bottles but substandard sprayvalves irritates me! Must recommend this one still. It is almost for free, you won’t regret it! Well done Coty / Adidas!
egororlov – :
If they used better ingredients to improve the staying power and make it a little less synthetic, this would be in the running for my favorite. Of their line this is an outstanding scent.
With the opening you get a resonious lemon, with a lime green feel, but this runs out fast. I mean you might get a full 10 minutes from it. From there you get more of the floral, but the sweet tonka runs over everything in its path.It is at its heart a tonka bomb that has a sythetic fruity vibe that it softened by jus the slightest hint of coffee.
After about an hour, projection is mostly gone. From there you have a sweet/soapy almost vanilla scent sitting on you skin that sticks around for around 5-6 hrs.
Roni Flower – :
On my skin it’s like Givenchy Play. I like it a lot. Good for evenings
MAOS102 – :
Another great $3 scent! That’s what I paid for a bottle. Anyway, unlike a few Adidas scents I tried years ago, this one is reasonably natural smelling and has a nice composition. The apple type note in the base is almost spice-like, but in this kind of composition spice would make it feel heavier, so this one vibrates at a different level (without actual spice, or not much of it). The coffee is great but doesn’t last long with clarity; after a minute or so it stays as a background hum. It is sweet but not outright gourmand, and the wood notes offer necessary contrast. The balance seems just right here, and while some people want a more “edgy” scent of this kind, like vintage Rochas Man, this is good for when I don’t want anything that might be too challenging on that day. Longevity was excellent and projection seemed good if not outstanding.
maka-60 – :
A very great fragance for the price! Women love this scent
Sesser777 – :
very light scent but attractive
u can use it after the shower
UsaliwatKit – :
such a great smell!
ygBiujjjjjjjjk – :
This is quite a good fragrance for the price. It reminds me a little of a toned down version of Angel Schlesser Essential for Men. It is woody, sweet, with a light gourmand-like aspect. The projection and longevity are not great, but as I paid $5 for 100ml edt, with a 250ml shower gel and a150ml deo, I don’t think I can complain.
Slava 1 – :
Not sure why this one got so many dislikes. Ive had it for over a year
And love it. I get compliments that I smell good all the time… but that could be just cuz im cute. Jk
😉
EL-Dorado – :
anything from adidas is a great gym/workout sweat scent inexpensive, worth every dollar
yaa955Negeltzex – :
The scent of Adidas Extreme Power is awesome! I received an instant compliment after the test. If it lasted more than two hours I would seriously buy three bottles. The scent alone is beyond any doubt fantastic and true to the lovely notes displayed in the pyramid. It’s almost a pity that it has poor longevity. I intend buying a bottle as it is “cheap” and I see myself giving this a proper chance, even if I end up using it around the house, or to visit the shop and I only get two hours out of it.
simka64 – :
Not very long lasting.Soft and sweet, innoffensive but no projection.more of a skin scent. However does not smell as cheap as some of adidas’s other range.
I suppose with deodrant and body spay would be suitable for teens and 20’s as an everyday pleasant smell
vedvovka – :
Interesting mix of Playboy New York and Adidas Intense Touch in one bottle 🙂
Sweet-fresh-fruity but resinous, spicey mix at the same time and with a hint of coffee on my skin.
More for cooler days or nightouts.
