To me, this doesn’t smell like magnolia. The opening is a generic white floral, mixed with bitter lemon and musk. The white floral aspects smell like freesia and lily of the valley (both are problem notes for me – freesia is often high pitched and screetchy, and lily of the valley is often too powdery and dated.)

Ottimo profumo, piacevole da sentire sul corpo di una donna nelle frizzanti mattinate primaverili. Magnolia super, ma anche un scia acida dovuta al mix di neroli, arancia e muschio. Peccato per la longevità ed il sillage troppo limitate.

Acqua Nobile Magnolia has a very similar development with Magnolia Nobile on me. It opens with prominent lemon, and then dries down into a slightly watery magnolia. When I compared the two side by side, Acqua Nobile Magnolia smells softer and slightly less floral than Magnolia Nobile, and it also gets a bit more dry during the 4th and 5th hour. But I doubt I’d be able to tell the different when sniffing them separately.
The sillage is soft and the longevity is around 6 hours. If you’d like a slightly less floral and more ‘cologne’-like take of Magnolia Nobile, I think Acqua Nobile Magnolia would fit the bill.

A very beautiful opening with a lot of citrus and magnolia. Unfortunately it only lasts for minutes and then it settles into a nice scent which will disappear soon too. The dry down is almost unnoticeable. It’s a shame though for such a promising fragrance

Initially there is a gorgeous burst of Lily of the Valley and Citron, as it begins to dry down the magnolia comes through, and it switches into a very definite White floral, I think the citrus notes disappear pretty quickly. Acqua di Parma fragrances in my opinion either last forever, or disappear without trace within an hour or two, sadly this is towards the latter, lovely fresh summer fragrance, while it lasts. It’s a beautiful fragrance, but there are a lot better in ADP’s range.

I bought this and since had to return it to the company. I really disliked the synthetic quality to the smells in it. There is no dry down. It just disappears without a trace. I caught the magnolia/citrus at the open and it was really a smell for an older lady. I hope I get the refund for the $170 for it soon. I had judged completely and totally wrong on this. I get so excited sometimes. I don’t think clearly.

Lemon tart , a citrus floral!
A very cheerful. Magnolia scent with citrusy top notes and a sweet musky vanilla accent. I am likening this quite a bit , this is a nice hot weather scent. Its a citrusy/ Flowery /fresh perfume , extremely happy 🙂 and cheerful. I might be the only one that prefers this to the EDP.

I love the fact that this fragrance, while perfect for summer, has no sharp citrus edges and is smooth, sensuous and utterly feminine. I love wearing this and compliments are guaranteed.

Super fresh and pure, invigorating floral. Very subtle and light – a veil of scent, perfect for summer. Sparkling, citrus top evolves into breathtakingly beautiful, fresh and romantic flowers sweetened by a touch of vanilla. Top notes are crisp and refreshing, heart is full of fresh flowers and the base is soft and silky. It’s beautiful and classy. Moderate longevity – 5 hours. Moderate sillage – it wraps you in a cloud of scent for 2 hours, last 3h it stays close to skin.

I really, really like this but doesn’t last on me. Shame because it’s lovely. It’s like a summer in the Med bottled up.
