диночка – :
Citrus notes in general are one of my favourite notes in Perfumery along with Amber and Incense notes and I tend to go with citrus frags when I am in the mood for a pick me up, something to make me feel bright eyed and bushy tailed so to speak. 24K is my favourite of the Panah line so far and to be perfectly honest, it has been my most used frag this summer.
Initial notes are a blast of sharp lemony citrus and spicy, almost minty pepper and these two notes form the crux of the fragrance as well. The other notes twirl around this center adding and subtracting facets during the life of the fragrance. About a half hour or so in, the woody notes start to announce themselves, first the Cedarwood and then a dry guaiac wood, lastly mingling with a very earthy vetiver note. The thing is, none of the notes ever really go away, they keep popping back in from time to time so that different notes are strong to your nose at different times. The dry down phase actually gives me whiffs of a spicy, nutmeg or cumin/coriander type note, reminiscent of the original Cartier Declaration. It’s probably a combination of the pepper and vetiver but it takes the frag in a spicier direction compared to most citrus frags.
Longevity on me is about 7-8 hours with about 6 sprays and I get strong whiffs of the frag pretty much throughout. Feedback from family and friends has been mostly great as well as I have been wearing this quite a bit throughout the Summer.
In conclusion, I would say if the combination of Citrus and vetiver sounds good to you, go ahead and get this. This smells like a mix of the bright Citrus note from Nio or Cedrat Envirant mixed with the Vetiver from TF Grey Vetiver or Citiver with a spicy, minty pepper thrown into the blender and mixed to perfection. I am not really doing the frag justice by saying that but it should give you a rough idea. It’s not a complex frag, it’s just one fragrance idea done absolutely right and sometimes that’s all you really need. As always, dont just take my word for it, get your nose on this and see for yourself. 9/10
