Description
Carolina Herrera is launching two new limited editions of the 212 line for 2016. 212 VIP Wild Party and 212 VIP Men Wild Party are following the original 212 VIP from 2010, 212 VIP Men from 2011 and 212 VIP Rose from 2014, as well as the last year’s limited editions named 212 VIP Club Edition. The new fragrant pair is announced a homage to the dancing and nightlife of New York City.
212 VIP Men Wild Party allegedly depicts the wild and extravagant New York City nightlife. The woody and spicy character is intended for the modern metropolitan man. It opens with accords of black pepper and leads to the refreshing heart of violet leaf. Vibrant woody notes end the composition.
Available as a 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Synthetic generic boredom… It has similar vibe to Diesel Bad but little bit better. In winter its unbearable for my nose, in the summer its smells better.. I dont know why i bought it, it has no similarity to the original 212 vip men.
I like the bottle thou so it will be nice for my collection.
The silage is awesome, longevity for a day and a half, even in worm humid weather.. but the smell… there is some synthetic top note that lives from the beginning to the dry down and tickles unplesently my nose.. There are some qualities that i like in this fragrance but i dont think i will wear it again.
edit 21.07.17 – in summer it is much nicer, the opening is juicy and enjoyable but the drydown is still very chemical sharp fruits mixed with woman makeup scent, kinda edgy and annoying. If the drydown would evolve in more soft and gentle areas it could be not so bad perfume, but in its current form the juicy opening evolves in to a vulgar drydown that kinda attacks me.

The first time i smell this perfume i knew there is something unique and new in this scent! now i know its the “Caviar” note.
Neequecride – :
Tried it today at the airport and was surprised at how long it lasted
It’s nothing ground breaking as far as the scent goes, but it would be nice in cold weather.
My flight was 6 hours, I’ve had a shower and it’s been 9 hours since I landed and I can still smell it on my arm

Listen up! ! Don’t EVER let the plastic ugly bottle drag you away from the scent inside !!.
If you love the dry down of the original , and into violet leaf based fragrances . Then I highly suggest you sniff that scent soon as it is a limited edition.
When the scent starts it doesn’t start with cheap thrills , passion ; mojito let’s get drunk and lose it tonight LOL as the original VIP.
It’s actually starts where the original VIP ends. I mean specifically the dry down.
The lovely light leathery note but this time with an absolutely well done blended violet leaf that adds up sharpness and masculinity to the scent.
as the scent progress it shows up some pleasant facets of gourmand aroma that plays in the back ground. An aroma that reminds me by a cherry mixed with light tobacco that my friend used to smoke.
to sum up :
If the original VIP was all about fun and youthfulness.
Wild party is about calculated seduction , with maturity.
Lasts for 10 hours on clothes with mild projection.
Cheers!!

After the limited editions from 2015 (212 VIP Club Edition), in 2016 the company decided to launch another duo of scents in order to continue the 212 VIP saga. Born, then, the new pair of fragrances called 212 VIP Wild Party. The concept of private parties and VIP guest list continues and, this time, pays tribute to the dance nights throughout New York City.
The official composition brings top notes of frozen Apple and caviar lime (as well as in other male versions of the line 212 VIP Men). In the body of the fragrance, notes of black pepper and violet leaves. In the base, an accord of gourmand-spicy wood.
Again, I reinforce the need for attention with what can be read out there, because, according to some forums and e-commerce stores, this fragrance would have notes of lime and caviar, separately. And that’s not true! The caviar lime fruit is the Citrus Australasica – a plant with citrus fruits of peculiar format with a fully differentiated pulp, which looks like caviar, but does have citrus flavor. It can have various colors and is also known as Finger lime.
When touches the skin, the first thing you think is: “that kind of fragrance, again?”. And that feeling doesn’t happen by chance, since the earlier versions had the same type of construction, bringing the caviar lime mixed with some frozen accord. Luckily, this aroma disappears almost immediately, giving place to the heart, which is spicier, lasts for hours and sets the evolution on skin. That makes all the difference because it shows a most intense facet of the original 212 Men VIP and ends in a woody base, while the latter ends with a sweetness of oriental content, because of the tonka bean and the amber.
When I began doing tests and publishing some pictures, I was questioned about a possible resemblance to last year’s version (212 VIP Men Club). Now I can say the following: in this line, the Club Edition version is the one that differs the most and, particularly, the one I like best. I think all of them have DNA links – which is a very positive point, when it is about flankers – but this Wild Party version is a bit closer to the original version. If it have been called 212 VIP Men Intense would work beautifully, in the same way.
And that’s how I define it: a stronger version of the original, which received sober nuances because of the violet leaves and the woody base. Both projection and durability, as always, don’t leave something to be desired. If reaches the collar of the shirt, lasts until the next day!
But the bottle is terrible, in my opinion. The concept of the campaign brought palm leaves in the boxes and in the video and the bottles were made under this optics. And even bringing the same finishing and the magnetic lid from the rest of the line, the detail embossed looks like scales and the black paint does not help to convey the central idea. From a distance, looks of bad quality and it’s tacky. An error of no return!

I had a feeling I would like this after hearing positive things but make no mistake it’s pretty cheap and pretty nasty. The opening is a nostril stinging affair of deep peppery and pungently fruity notes, I’d say it’s a kinda on the exotic side without smelling like a particular fruit. As it dries down there’s definitely violet there but it’s not your usual, aloof smelling or powdery violet it (maybe coupled with lime?) starts to create a synthetic sweetie (candy) vibe and actual reminds me of something from my childhood which was extreme bad for my teeth no doubt. This fragrance goes on in a hideously strong cloud of aroma chemical, messiness but actually turns out to be quite weak in terms of projection and longevity, So it’s quite deceiving really. Another thing I’d mention is that 212 VIP Wild party smells quite bad on the card or test strip but really comes into it’s own on my skin. The transformation and drydown are a wonderful, deeply woody smell coupled with that initial fruitiness. (which I kind liked anyway despite the negative tone of this review)
I want to say this fragrance is another stupid, trying to be sexy/intense (or whatever?) flanker but the truth is, It actually has qualities I quite like.
I’m not one to be sold on a bottle either but this is great and really weighty too. It has a magnetic cap and a cool scaly finish which kinda makes it look like a dragon dildo! Which is pretty gnarly.
I’m not sure this stands up when compared to 212 VIP or Sexy both of which I like and have a much more nuanced composition and better longevity etc…
However, something is drawing me to this fragrance as it smells better when dried down (albeit doesn’t last very long) and the muddled exotic fruit mess that it is somehow, strongly appeals to me. I will probably buy it but I don’t really rate or recommend it to others as a good fragrance. The fact it has only just come out and is in the bargain bin already says it all , so it’s bad but I love it. 🙂

Nothing “Wild” about it. This fragrance is plain, common, and dull. The violet leaf overshadows all the other notes, wearing this cologne you feel like one in the crowd, it has nothing special about it and it relies only in the commercial strategic of Carolina Herrera about a different limited edition of 212 vip every year, just like CH.
Smell: 2/10
Longevity: 5/10
Sillage: 2/10
Edit: Gave it a second chance, the fragrance didnt persist in my skin for more than 2 hours, there was practically no projection, and i came up with my final comclusion about this: Its not bad, its not good, its just dull. Anyone could use this, men, women, children, is an extremly simplistic fragrance.
Pros: The bottle
Cons: dont get me started.
Performance: 1/10. Definetly the worse of Herrera’s 212 Vip limited editions over the last 5 years. Utterly dissapointed.

To my nose I definately get a pineapple vibe with pepper and violet on the fence here.
shanson-torrent.org – :
When i sprayed i got a pineapple fresh juice, and some spices. Then, the freshness calms down and it gets more like a rubber pecil eraser note with some pineapple on the back. Maybe the violet leaf with the woods makes that rubber accord. I prefer the 212 vip than this, but it is a good original designer release.

Pepper, violet leaf, and woody notes? Sounds more like a continuing education cooking class than a wild party!
