They sent me a sample of lelabo when i ordered Profile 18 and i see very little similarity. This cologne is by far one of the best, most unique scents that i own. Perhaps more so than gucci guilty or issey summer scent, or zara man gold, my other 3 top picks. Again, this one smells nothing like the spicey ingredients listed, and so much sweeter, coconut, pina colada, vanilla, some sort of lathery tropical cream, and also much like a brand new pair of leather gloves, an expensive jacket, or the interior of a brand new luxury sedan, bmw, etc. Perhaps a lighter version of Diesel OTB Wild, a little too light, my only complaint – it doesn’t last long enough. Also reminds me a little bit of zara aquatic mind, unique, wonderful, shocked that its rob lowe designed. Didn’t he sex a girl who was under 18? Should have named this one ‘profile under 18’. Regardless, way to go rob, you created something of value for once in your career.

I appreciate this because it’s not trying to be just another Gucci or Polo. It’s trying to smell more niche but with lower quality ingredients. I wouldn’t wear it but I’d recommend it to someone who wants niche but doesn’t want to break the bank.

Look, the dude below has flowers on his head in the profile picture and he thinks he smells rubber! There is an amber smell to this for sure as well as a Sandalwood, and sage. As a Santa Barbara native I know what these smell like. I really do find this cologne among the best in the world. It has staying power as well as it smells masculine and classy! Get it!

Despite the name, don’t expect amber from this one. It smells like it is inspired by Le Labo’s Santal 33, so it naturally resembles Commodity’s Book as well. I noticed sandalwood, sage, green notes with a rubbery undertone. It’s not a bad fragrance, but I will have to try it a few more times to decide how I really feel about it. They are offering free carded samples from their site.
