First thing I notice is the pepper, quickly joined by ginger, cedar and vanilla. It is a dry fragrance that quickly becomes dominated by the cedar. It has sharp corners, but it’s enjoyable to wear when you want something a bit rough on the edges.
7/10

Extremely low sillage and longevity. Nothing special with this one. I’d stay away from this one..receieved as a sample and I won’t be buying. DO NOT blind buy this one.

This smells really good, but I cant help but think it smells sort of dated. Maybe the ginger, pepper combo just isn’t used as much anymore. So yes it smells good, but very different than anything else. Absolutely to be worn in fall or winter. If you’re tired of nearly every winter scent having either vanilla or amber, then you may like this. Sophisticated, unique (in today’s age), for 35+ age.

I created an account just to review this fragrance because I LOVE IT. It was recommended to me by a Salesperson at a large department store here in San Francisco. Honestly, I couldn’t smell it very well in the store for some reason. I sprayed some on a card and left it on my desk all day. When I came back in to work the next morning I couldn’t get enough of that card! I kept sniffing it all day. I went to the website to order it. Not there so walked back to the store to get a bottle. I love this stuff.
Originally, I noticed the cedar the most, now I get a dried fruit, bit of ginger and then the pepper takes over for me. That’s when it smells the best. It’s not an overpowering cologne at all. It’s just great. So great in fact, it’s really gotten me interested in men’s fragrances. I’ve not tried anything that I like more than 10 Corso. It smells special, very refined, and unique. I love it.

I almost sold this and I’m sure glad I didn’t. This reminds me a bit of that impressive cheapie, Mr. Blass by Bill Blass. I have a large bottle of that, so I just figured Como Uomo was redundant in my collection as I started to downsize.
Well I had it up for sale and swap for about a month, then I sampled it again. Hmmm… yes, similar to Mr. Blass, yet different. It has a more appealing blend, a bit stronger on the cedar while still remaining soft. There’s almost a hint of Gucci Pour Homme (2003) as well.
Fresh spicy cedar, with a solid garnish of ginger. The bergamot is controlled, allowing it to have a more modern profile (some vintage men’s fragrances are heavy on the bergamot). It wears nicely light, pleasant to have on all year round. And then I got a compliment on it. Not just an off handed one, but a sincere directed compliment. From a woman!
So… this is staying with me. 🙂
The flacon is plain, but easy going on the eyes. The sprayer works fine and is generous. Longevity is decent… not as great as something like Gucci Pour Homme, but fine for what it delivers.

Amazing! I was given a sample of this in one of the nicer department stores. LOVELY! I love anything with jasmine and ylang-ylang, which are in my favorite creation Guerlain Samsara. This one is, needless to say, is a masculine take on those notes. The sillage is enormous as is the lasting power. Love the smoky warm dry-down. For me, this would be an evening or fall/winter scent. I want to purchase sometime.

SMOKE, WOODS, CITRUS
Opening was beautiful. I immediately said out loud ‘oh, this is a winner’.
Had such a elegant blend. Did you notice I used the past tense ‘had’?
Unfortunately, after about an hour, the citrus note turned a bit sour on my skin.
Such a shame. For me.
Give it a shot – hopefully you won’t have the same sour-citrus-skin issues I tend to have.

10 Corso Como Uomo by 10 Corso Como is a beautiful Spicy Oriental for men. The house of 10 Corso Como which is dedicated to art, fashion and design was founded in Milan by Carla Sozzani a gallery owner and publisher. It began as a gallery in 1990 and has since grown to include fashion, food and a hotel. The philosophy behind this house is to present the world of art, music, design, cuisine and fashion to reflect the inspiration of world cultures.
The perfume opens in a clear spicy zing of ginger ringing with notes of bergamot and mandarin orange. This is a lovely crisp and eye-opening scent, not shocking to the system but rather delightful and warm in its opening presentation.
The dominant note in the perfume enters rather fast to join in the sparkle created by the ginger and as the bergamot and mandarin fade to the back this lively Pepper takes center stage. Along the way in the heart of the fragrance the peeper is joined by a shy Ylang-Ylang and a bashful jasmine. Together these two floral notes smooth the pepper and ginger out and lead the way to a really nice dry down.
In the base notes there is a clean Musk that never gets soapy but stays true along with the Cedar to a classic masculine oriental feel. This is added by a light shimmering veneer of amber and vanilla.
Overall the perfume lasts about eight hours on my skin and has a noticeable sillage in the first few hours. I always find myself coming back to 10 Corso Como Uomo when I am looking for something sophisticated, unusual, and neo-classical in feeling.

10 Corso Como Uomo is an unusual and unique scent(in a good way). I have some definite opinions on the frag.
A handsome woody/ smoky/ citrus that is no wallflower!
Best to wear it in open spaces or large gatherings. Has a incensy dry down that is not listed. Kinda like attending mass.
Certainly well crafted this belongs as a Fall/ Winter scent. While hemme in nature a strong femme can carry it off with ease.
But (ain’t there always a but! lol) as of yet have not received compliments so…maybe I’ll heed my opinion and wait for the Summer season to roll on out and give it another try.
So, still undecided if there is love for it. Prob more of a strong like.
Sillage and longevity are both above average.
Certainly different!
The review is based on samples I received.

very nice refreshing citrus with a little spice with it, it is great opener,,,longevity i am testing right now.. but very nice so far, a few compliments right out of the gate..so that is always good to hear. so far like this one. not a bad price point either from what i can tell. this could be someones signature it has that sort of vibe to it.. thumbs up..
I think you would get noticed with this one. in a good way..masculine to me right out of the gate.

10 Corso Como Uomo…say that fast 10 times.
This was another of those fragrances I just had to have and was really excited to receive.
I averted my eyes and had my wife spray one forearm with Zegna Intenso and the other with 10 Corso Como Uomo.
My reaction was more favorable to Intenso, but my wife was actually excited about 10 Corso Como Uomo. She commented, “It smells really woodsy”. It does.
The scent reminds me of standing in line at Home Depot or Lowe’s to have 2 x 4’s cut in store. It’s a very light semi-sweet smokey woodsy aura.
This one is very opposite the type of scent I’m going for but it’s a really interesting piece of work. It’s an EDP but after 7 hours Intenso is stronger on my skin. 10 CCU is there, though… light, semi-sweet and oh so woody.
I’ve never tried anything from He Wood but this is the type of scent I’d imagined coming from one of their offerings.
I also think a woman could pull this one off with relative ease. My wife LOVES it.

Rare, exquisite, and extremely well made. This sweet, musky parfum for men is strictly for Winter use due to its strength. I got a free vial of this at Nordstrom, and from just taking the cap off and touching the wet glass, this fragrance was on top of my hand for the whole day and projected perfectly. It is expensive and rare, but completely worth it.
