Musty, milky coumarin with floral accents starts this one off. It’s a buttery yellow scent that feels full, but not cloying. Woody facets seem to be present, but they’re light and unobtrusive. There’s a note that stands out as a tad peppery and feels a little out of place, but overall, this is the best of the four I’ve tried from this line so far (going in sequence). It’s sunny, warm, and a bit of a nostalgia trip. Picture a more fatty, lactonic yet watered-down Marc Jacobs Daisy and you’ll be headed in the right direction. Gone within an hour, but it was a fairly enjoyable while it lasted.

This is much more interesting than Lime Absolue, since instead of lacking a heart note it lacks a top one, which seems less of a problem for me. It’s a little bit linear, but still seems sexy and full-bodied. It smells sweet, tonka and musky like, with powdery flowers full of that honey aroma that smells like pollen. I think it’s lovely.

Poor Amélie Bourgeois, being French, could not have realized when she was making this fragrance that it is a dead ringer for Avon’s Soft Pink Bubble Bath.

OMG- G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S!
Reminds me of a cross between Profumum Roma’s ‘Eccelso’ and Bvlgari ‘Jasmin Noir’- but definitely has its own, unique character. Heavy floriental in a modern (but quite natural) style that also refers backward to traditional floral attars. Definitely added to my want-list from this line.

This is the only one I don’t like out of the fragrance republic line. It’s not a bad scent — it just reminds me of the way woody floral perfumes smelled in the 80s-90s without being a complete sillage bomb. It smells dated and musky but if you like this sort of thing the sillage is decent and the longevity is very good. I put it on to sleep and could smell it on me in the morning.
