This one is like a tropical vanilla milkshake, I find it similar to Lavanila Summer. It’s a tad heavy and just a little bit sweet, but I don’t find it gets cloying at all. It actually tends to go a tad dusty on me, which is when I get a lotion or shampoo sort of smell to it. The scent melds with your skin, the vanilla keeps it warm while the fruitiness keeps it a touch fresh much like Lavanila’s other scents, it’s a nice balance.
I expected to like it more though. I think Summer does a better job in terms of its tropical aspects and Grapefruit better for its fruit and citrus notes. This one just doesn’t take off for me. It also only lasts about 2-3 hours.

Very sweet but not cloying. The vanilla smells warm and inviting. At the beginning it smells like creamy fruit. The dry down is very powdery and soft. It has good sillage and longevity for a natural fragrance.

The person who said shampoo hit it on the head, the other ingredients sort of drown out the passionfruit and vanilla, it smells fruity for maybe five minutes, then the sage and juniper come in and it smells mostly like expensive shampoo. Not a bad smell, but not what I was looking for.

I’m wearing this right now and mailman came to deliver a package, as I was signing for it I hear a “mmmm wow, is that your perfume mam?” I looked up and he seemed kind of embarrassed like he didn’t think before he spoke. And all I could think of was Mam? He called me Mam!? My momma is mam, do I look old? lol ..Anyway, he asked the name and when I told him he said he won’t remember and to please write it down. Only other perfumes men have wanted me to write down for them are Pink Sugar and Happy. This is funny bc I had just mentioned this fragrance is a boxer dropper! So if you want to drop some boxers, or melt some popsicles, and what girl doesn’t once in a while :)~ this seems to do the job. I was buying one on their website and noticed it said this one was Limited Edition so I got two, might be marketing thing but just in case.

This is one of those that men really seem to LOVE. Vanilla, fresh, fruity, sweet without being cloying. It’s super sexy yet comforting at the same time. My man doesn’t like me wearing it if he’s not around lol. Its made with more natural ingredients so it’s easy on the nose but I’m surprised by how long it lasts! Very pleasant scent, hard not to like.

Love the creamy goodness of all the fragrances in this line! The addition of passion fruit gives a tart, zesty kick to the golden, buttery, desert like decadent vanilla note. It does not smell like shampoo or fruit juice on me, just a simple sweet adorable fragrance. The scent seems to last for hours and sillage is great.

mmmmmmm this is a sexy fruity fragrance with a hint of vanilla and spiciness. I like it! It lasts pretty well too! : )

This just smells like fruity shampoo to me.

I truly love most vanilla fragrances that have a fruit note in them, especially a tropical one. I own all of the Comptoir Sud Pacifique line, all Perlier fruit and vanilla EDTs, have had most of the Dumont line, but this one wears so poorly on me.
LaVanila Passion Fruit smelled similar to CK Obsession on me for some reason. Not as tropical and/or fruit punchy as I expected.

I tried this this one a while ago and liked it, tried it again yesterday and though I liked it at first, after 15 minutes it smelled like shampoo on my wrist. It’s not bad by any means and might be very nice on my neck or possibly layed with Pure Vanilla to deepen it a bit. I may buy a rollerball of this just to play with. It is not terribly long lasting…

Juicy and fruity, but nowhere near as exotic or complex on the skin as the ingredients list would lead one to believe.

i have been looking for a juicey fruity scent since january, and I FINALLY found it. Lavanila u win again. I looooove this its very fruity, very juicy, wears close to the skin but that is ok i guess. I think I could down size my perfume collection of almost 60 bottles of perfumes to just lavanila and i think i could be happy with that. Vanilla Blossom for Spring, Vanilla Passion Fruit for Summer, Vanilla Lavander for Fall and Vanilla Spice for Winter. Also Pure Vanilla year round. 🙂 I love you Lavanila!!!!!

This was a very pleasant surprise. Of all the Lavanila fragrances I’ve tried, this one evolves the most on my skin. As one would expect, Vanilla Passionfruit starts off as a simple and edible combination of vanilla and passionfruit. The mixture of guava, peach, and passionfruit is juicy and sweet, but does not enter screechy tropical-fruit juice territory as I feared it might.
Once the fragrance dries down, the clary sage and juniper are quite strong on my skin. They balance out the juicy, sweet aspects of the fruits with their dry, herbal quality. This is a chameleon fragrance. It starts out as a sweet gourmand and progressively becomes more aromatic. The vanilla adds a satisfying warmth throughout, and unifies everything nicely.

The name Vanilla Passion Fruit is a fairly apt description, as this fragrance is indeed the perfect blend of these two notes. I’m really fussy when it comes to vanilla-based fragrances, often choosing to smell it in its most simplistic and raw form rather than being tampered with, and spoiled by notes that I’m not particularly fond of. I like the scent of passion fruit, and thankfully it blends beautifully with the vanilla.
Vanilla Passion Fruit is quite sweet in a gourmand kind of a way, but not nauseatingly so. To my nose it’s like a tasty dessert. Very foody, feminine and flirtatious.
The fruits are nicely balanced in Vanilla Passion Fruit. Other than the obvious passion fruit accord, peach, guava and juniper berries also feature. The smooth, somewhat cake-like vanilla note, aids in creating that sweet yet cuddly sensation. In some ways, Vanilla Passion Fruit could be perceived as sensual and alluring.
The composition itself may be slightly linear, but in regards to how well it wears on my skin, I’m not fussed. After a good four hours, Vanilla Passion Fruit is still relatively strong, projecting a pleasant, warm vanilla and sandalwood blend.
I’m sending a huge shout-out to Karina for having sent me a sample of this, and a bunch of other vanilla based fragrances that I’m eager to sniff over the course of the next few days. I will conclude by saying that Vanilla Passion Fruit is one of the best fruity vanillas I’ve come across.

I have tried all of the LaVanilla scents and this is by far my favorite. It reminds me of a vanilla heavy passionfruity and guava laden Escada. This is a very likable scent that is very sweet. I like that it is natural and am over all impressed with this, I find the rest of their scents unpleasant on my skin- but I have not tried the new roll ons. I would say it is closest to marine groove from escada, but with more vanilla and longer lasting.

This one is my second favorite behind the new Blackberry Vanilla, yummy vanilla with a bit of an overlay of passionfruit, not too sweet and nice and cosy, just a nice smelling perfume. I really like Blackberry Vanilla though it’s sweeter and just delicious!!!

Passion Fruit Vanilla is a sticky sweet scent, like dried fruit dipped in white chocolate. It lacks the sourness and energy of the Vanilla Grapefruit, which is my favorite of the line. If you like cozy gourmands, this may be a good option for you.

When I applied my sample to my skin I first thought, “Okay, here we go–another seemingly two-note fragrance from Lavanila.” Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Lavanila for the natural purity and intensity of their range and own two of them myself, but seldom wear them because for the most part I need an extra dimension. But oh, how wrong I was about this one.
From 70% vanilla to 30% passionfruit, over the course of about an hour, it developed into the most beautiful warm, fruity herbal aroma. I love juniper and clary sage, and although subtle, they seemed to diffuse and add extra texture to the vanilla to keep me interested ’til the very end.
Longevity is absolutely fantastic as it stayed with me from bedtime right into midmorning. Absolutely bottle worthy for me.

This is not my fav of this range. I feel coconut or lot of heliotrop in it, however there isn’t any. (I’m not a coconut fan.) Fortunately there’s enough freshness because of the fruits to make it more interesting. Not bad but I prefer Vanilla Grapefruit to this one if I have to chose a fruity-vanilla.

This is a very lovely fragrance, very simple and yummy. I made my younger brother try it on for me today because I was already wearing too many other fragrances! One of my favorite vanilla scents so far.
