Jil Sander is already announcing the summer of 2014 with her new limited edition fragrant duo – Sunrise Women and Sunrise Men.
The new fragrances belong to the Sun collection and are actually new versions of the original fragrances Sun from 1989 and Sun Men from 2002. The perfumes were envisaged to describe a perfect summer day on the beach. They bring the feeling of unlimited freedom somewhere far away, while waves of the sea bathe in the morning sun.
SUNRISE WOMEN is a floral-musk fragrance which opens with bergamot and ylang-ylang scents followed by a bouquet of white flowers – jasmine and tiare. The finish cuddles the skin with warm and sensual aromas of musk and tonka beans.
Edition for women is available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette, along with 150 ml Body Lotion and Shower Gel.
Flacons are classic rectangular in shape and carry warm colors of the rising sun – intense red and orange shades. Jil Sander’s new duo arrives on the market in March 2014.

Can only think about taking a tropical Cocktail in a Ship cruise with light breeze! Don’t ask me why ahahah 🙂 It’s a lovely fresh, rich, exotic summer scent.
Opening banana flavour mixed with citric edges (bergamot and ylang-ylang). Very Yummy!
Past 10min the exotic flower come trough, the Tiare flower mostly, stronger then Jasmin.
The Tonka Bean gives that sweetness all the way till the base notes. I find it balmy too 😉

Being a long-time fan of Jil Sander’s Sun Delight, I was interested in having a sniff of the new summer scent: Sunrise.
The eau de toilette opens with a cloud of tropical flowers, tiaré and ylang ylang are the strongest. Then, the wind changes direction and a seabreeze develops, musky and briny. The flowers wear off after about 2 hours, then the musk remains in the drydown. Sillage is moderate.
I like the scent very much, although I wish the floral phase would last longer. The musk almost makes it masculin on me in the drydown.
This is a typical scent for hot summer days, if you want to smell like you’ve spent a day on the beach.

Sunrise,is a special edition, in a line of more summer editions from Jil Sander with SUN in the name.It’s a real summer fragrance.I went to many stores because i first wanted to smell it ,before buying it. Not one drugstore here had it, and some didn’t even knew that this was the latest summer fragrance . So I ordered it online..
The bottle is red,glass. The first spray ..I smelled a soft sweet Oder,i guess these are the white flowers.Indeed ,when i closed my eyes and smelled my wrist, i really could imagine me sitting on the beach,warming sand in the upcoming sun and a turquoise sea before me. It reminded me also a bit of a nice smelling sun cream,after a while i could smell a soft hint of musk,but i also consider this fragrance a bit aquatic .It’s sweet but not in a heavy,noisiness making way. I feel funny,sunny,wearing it! I only dislike the longevity on me,i can only smell it for about 2 hours( but longer on my clothes) and i wish the smell was a bit stronger. But over all i like it
