Not great… Strong alcohol blast at first which shifts into the dominant scent of sweet citrus with a hint of floral. Unfortunately, most of the citrus is a sour lemon-lime note that is like lemonade concentrate powder mix, cardboard packaging and all. I don’t get the tea. Which is a shame! There was potential here to be refreshing beyond the standard fare. The musk comes out after a little while but doesn’t really improve much. Definitely in the category of a novelty fragrance, for me.

I agree with those who say they do not know why Love does not get more love? 🙁
It is an almost perfect blend to me, fresh, citrus, green, a hint of floral, beachy and clean. It has wonderful longevity and is the PERFECT base for layering too with excellent sillage as well if you are into layering and looking for a solid base. I always receive compliments while wearing Roxy Love, it is inoffensive for day wear and very pretty and even flirty for night, date wear too.
This is my 2nd bottle that I seem to NEED to keep in my collection, I enjoy it on its own as well as a quick, no-brainer scent if I’m running out the door and wish to smell nice. AND it is sooooo affordable too and lasts and lasts. 🙂

Again today with the blind buys at the place I get ALL my perfumes at (unless j buy on line lol) and they keep updating the 19.99,shelf every two days or so. I came across this and wanted to try it. Took it home and sprayed the bloody hell out of it lkl between my skin and NY scarf that is. So its not a terrible scent, it very very citrus smelling. So much so….that it kind of smells like a cleaning products-ya know that lemon fresh smell that people have in their bathroom or kitcheb- its kind of Luke that 🙁 I doubt I will use this

Honestly, I don’t know why Love doesn’t get more love. It is so fresh, pretty, and citrusy. It sort of sums up the California surfer girl aesthetic. It’s simple and pretty but not at all boring. It really does smell like sunshine in a bottle. I have a few of these simple California beachy scents and it always amazes me how just a few simple notes can be so breathtaking. This one, Kai, Child, and now Vittoria Apuana are my all time favorite beach scents, so far.
It starts out with pure fresh lemon zest, like a freshly cut lemon – exactly like the lemon in Love’s Lemon. The heart is a green tea with light jasmine. Almost like if you made an iced tea out of green tea and jasmine tea. This is exactly like the tea note in JLo Still, but where Still focuses on the flowers with a tea base, this one focuses on the tea with a light lemon and flower aura. The dry down is a very light musk with the happiest, sunniest white flowers, but there’s a hint of saltiness and a light acquatic note. Exactly the way your skin smells when it’s warm from being sundried after a swim in the ocean. This is just gorgeous. It makes me think of all those summers at the beach.

    Fresh, wonderful, and terribly underrated.
My 2nd bottle after getting rid of my first, foolishly after a breakup. Roxy love smells of strong sporty musk, green tea leaves, sea like notes, lemon and lime. It’s simple, lovely, yet great for it’s price! When I crave “fresh air” after wearing a lot of heavy fragrances or just need some relief in a stressful situation, roxy love is one of my go to’s. RL makes a great traveling companion, a nice freshen upper in the summertime, and an easy wear to work.
Also on a more fun note, RL takes me to an alternate dimension where volley balls aren’t so attracted to my face. A dimension where I was a young, tan, free spirited, beachy skater girl.
    Easily unisex, not very sweet.

This perfume has been one of my favorites, i don’t understand why there isn’t enough hype? One sniff & i’m just sailing through each note.. this perfume brings me back to fort lauderdale. I don’t know what it is but scents from roxy & nollie/surfer perfumes always make my knees buckle. I prefer this over much expensive stuff & it lasts. During dry down the notes come together for a beautiful melody. Ahhhhugh thinking about this made me run to my perfume tray & dab some on my wrist. It smells quite expensive but it’s not at all. I think this is a great stocking stuffer that’s very afforadable. I’d say ages teen-late 20’s & even after would like this scent.

The start up is so different from the softer dry down. U may want to give this a chance! At first is smells nothing like LIGHT BLUE but after it settles it definitely does! I’m figuring out that sometimes some perfumes that start out harsh actually can have nicer dry downs n the harsh edge is what gives it a staying power… Do others agree w that? I wonder… Anyway, it a great more economical alternative to LB if u give it a few minutes & wait for that drydown! The lasting power is pretty darn good as well!

Clean but fruity, I get strong citrus with a little bit aquatic. Upon first spraying, it’s very citrusy, but quickly sets in and deepens. For the price, I think this has a very strong sillage and moderate lasting power.
Would agree with others–smells like a more fun version of Light Blue. Also would compare to Victoria’s Secret Fresh & Clean, but less spicy than VS.

I bought this back in December and I’ve worn it just about every day since it arrived. Now that it’s April 1st, I can say I love this scent. I bought it because I was itching for a new fragrance besides the VS Pink Fresh & Clean body spray that I’ve worn since 2010. When I sprayed it on for the first time it was very citrusy, but in a matter of less than a minute it became a very summery scent that I can’t get over! It’s great for humid, hot weather. Smells amazing.

I got this as a gift in a Secret Santa swap several years ago. It kind of took me back to my teen years and this fragrance Roxy had called Hula which I quite liked then. I think I wore it around 15-16.
It’s crisp, sweet, aquatic. Some nondescript florals in there. Great for teens and early 20’s, or just ladies who like fresh/clean scents. It wasn’t really to my taste, but it’s a perfectly nice fragrance if you look at it as something to wear to the beach etc.

This was a blind buy for me and I am pleased with my purchase! Roxy Love smells exactly like Versace Yellow Diamond and a bit like Daisy eau fraiche to me. Sweet, fruity, and long lasting! It does not smell like green tea to me. It is cold outside, but I will not wait until summer to wear this!

Purchased this for $12 dollars and I was shocked because this smells great…It has the scent of Fujiyama but better…Fujiyama has this real masculine smell but needs something…well I tested both of them and Roxy is way better because it has the citrus uplifting notes that have fresh breezy scent like light blue…It clean and was cheap price for me…it like a beach scent.Nice if your on a budget good lasting scent that can stand on it own…

This perfume is lush! Yes, the initial blast is very sugary lemon, but this quickly subsides into a woodsy musk that is not too sweet with a salty seawater vibe. Perfect for the beach at any time of the year – in fact I was wearing this almost every day last winter (I live on the coast) the citrus gives it a cool feel although the base has such warmth on the skin (maybe the ylang ylang?). I find it to be pretty long lasting, still catching whiffs 6hrs after initial application. It is in a similar vein to D&G`s Light Blue as previously mentioned, but I so much prefer this. I am amazed that it isnt more popular……..

I love this fragrance. It’s so sparkling and refreshing. If Sprite released a fragrance it would smell like this but I mean that in a really nice positive way. It’s so bright and fresh and clean without smelling soapy or powdery. It’s almost got a bubblegum watery freshness to it as well.

  16. :

A burst of pungent bright citrus at first, but very refreshing and great for summer. About 10 minutes after you apply it becomes less acidic and more aquatic in a slightly masculine cologne way, with the green tea and musk giving it a calming, refreshing vibe. A good choice for sweltering hot summer days when you don’t want to be bothered (or bother others) by a sweet or overbearing scent.

I would call this a citrus aromatic or even edging on an aromatic aquatic …?? I ordered this frkm Amazon for only$19 so i thought eh what the heck. It actually does smell more expensive and more complex than i expected a Roxy perfume to be. I will say that top my nose its 80% green tea. Then there is a bit of salty ocean water and a lime wedge squeezed in. I wouldn’t call it beachy. It more zen like. Something to wear to yoga or to calm the mind. It is clean…in calm way. No sharpness here. I wish there was just a touch of sweetness here, but i cant sense any! Great for summertk feel fresh or any time of the year where u want a calm mind and to smell like tea 🙂

This scent is similar to Avon – Simple elements warm sunshine, but its good, likable, for spring or summer, warm, sweet and fresh, last but not least it’s cheap. Rather for girls…nothing special for me

I just received this fragrance in a swap and at first I was unsure because it was so powerfully scented with citrus. Now, I cannot get enough of it! Roxy Love is the perfect fresh scent for summer. It is a citrus scent with a hint of floral and just enough musk to notice, but not too much. I can smell hints of green tea on me, but it really helps to calm the fragrance down from the huge amount of citrus when it is first sprayed. I`m actually really impressed with this fragrance. I was not expecting much, but I ended up loving it! 🙂

For the price this is a good perfume, it does not smell like an inexpensive one. The ingredients are good quality. I find it too sweet and floral.

I tried this one for a day and happy to say that it lasts 4-5 hours on me and has a very subtle nice citrus-y yet flowery dry down. Nice to wear at the office if you want to smell clean yet not annoy anyone. Breezy and Light.. Nice!

Thanks panthere for the clarification. I knew there was orchid in this.
I found Roxy Love to be fun, alittle unusual and quite yummy.(I especially enjoyed the orchid note)Also, the color and the frosted bottle reminded me of a blueberry popsickle”very cute”
And Although I usually dont put an age limit on a scent, in the end, I did decide this one was a little too young for me and gave it to my grandaughter.
Still, all in all,a sweet little summer fragrance.

First off all I bought this one on sale for 11$ so price was reasonable.
To me it smells like pure sugar with lemon, nothing else. When you first put it on, it’s very strong and almost too sweet for my taste, but after few minutes it gets more suitable and gentle.
Longlasting (5 – 6 hours) and perfect for hot summer days!

The sister company and feminine consort to Quiksilver has very much impressed me with its second offering to date…
Roxy Love is suposed to be made of only four notes but it’s ending juice is sooo much more than the things used to create it. The scent that issues forth from the sprayer is absolutely soft and beautiful; and though it is aquatic in nature, it is more aromatic than floral or citrusy. In my opinion the smell of this matches the limpid color and frosted feel of the bottle very well. The citruses are bright and zesty but not too intense. I detect oranges and maybe some amalfi lemons, combined with a very clear and intense green tea accord that is as refreshing as it is energizing. The ‘floral bouquet’ is actually quite an apropos term, as the individual flowers would be almost impossible to identify but the overall bouquet aroma is very pleasing and reminds one of the early springtime. The musk is very sweet and most likely not animal-derived and it has, as others have said, a very ‘fizzy’ almost effervescent air to it overall. Quite a stunning perfume for the paltry sum asked for its purchase…
    Sillage: good
    Longevity: very good
    Overall: 3.75/5
A very, very good scent for feeling cool, refreshed and sweet but not overly ‘calone-y’ or perfumed. This is the soft scent of a cool ocean breeze while enjoying a sparkling tea cooler after playing hard at having fun and though sheerly feminine could be worn by anyone who wants something fresh, delicious and not too sweet or heavy. Brava!!

I just got this as it was so cheap I couldn’t pass it up. I just sprayed it on, and it’s very strong at first, sharp, very citrus-y, almost too much like a lemon cleaner, but the dry down is prooving a bit better. It smells a little salty to me, fizzy at times, which is a good description as others have used. I’m not sure if I smell a lemon cleaner or some sherbet candy or flowers with musk. Not sure at the moment.

Fizzy, sweet, and fresh that’s how I would describe Roxy Love. I love how the tea note is in the lead, it lends a softening effect to the citrus notes. Roxy Love is a pretty linear fragrance throughout the top and heart. During the drydown it becomes softly musky but the tea, flowers and citrus is still there. I also noticed a slightly marine/aqua undertone in the fragrance. I really love it. I must say that it is not a fragrance that everyone will love. If you love complicated fragrances that offer different facets of its personality, Roxy Love is not the one for you. If you love light and fun fragrances, give Roxy Love a try. Overall, I’ll rate it 7 out of 10.
(P.S. The sillage is average but the lasting power is only about 5 hours.)

Remember “flying saucers”? The rice paper casing enclosed an acidic fizzy sherbet that could make your eyes cross…..& now I find it in perfume form!
I don’t care for sweets, but this perfume is just sour enough to stop it being sickly. This could be a little gem for a young surf dudette on a very hot day by the sea.
It is sweet, fizzy & sour – lots of lemon & orange sherbet sprinkled on rose petals. It remains quite vivid & sparkly for an hour before it settles into a warmer, muskier version of its former self for a few hours more. Nothing complex, nothing showy just a little bit of fun.
It’s like Light Blue got sporty & sparkly.

I just ordered this and I can’t wait to get it! There are better note descriptions out there.
“Roxy Love Perfume by Quicksilver, Launched in 2007, this youthful fragrance contains a blend of mandarine, petitgrain, lime, green tea leaves, yuzu, tangerine, grenade, pivoine, freesia, peony, bahia orchid, musk and cedarwood.”
I have it and I like the intial blast of citrus but then somewhere along the way the drydown starts to bother me. Anyway it is a good scent for summer with nice staying power for an affordable price. it just doesn’t agree with me.

It lasts long and it smells like a marine scent. It is better than the original Roxy but I do like them both.It is light fizzy and marine-ish with a little bit of fruit and sweetness.I think this is unisex.
