Description

The third fragrance of the Paradiso collection is Paradiso Assoluto, released in late 2016. Paradiso Assoluto represents aromas of a heavenly garden, its generous nature and intense flowers. It is announced as a sensual and alluring scent that starts floral and spicy with accords of red pepper and wisteria. A wild jasmine note, signature to the Paradiso line, is mixed with red lily in the heart of the perfume. The base is described as sensual and creamy, with accords of patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla.

The bottle, designed by Eva Maria Duringer and shaped like a faceted diamond, is colored in shades of red this time. The fragrance will be available as a 30, 50 and 75 ml Eau de Parfum.
The nose behind this fragrance is Louise Turner.

Creamy white floral, very nice. Just after I sprayed it I said to myself; you don’t need this, it’s nice but you already have very good creamy, velvety and smooth white floral perfumes. But then I thought, this is different, I think it’s the pink pepper that gives it a lovely spicy twist. It really works well together with all the other notes. Now I can’t get it out of my mind and will purchase a bottle of it when I see it for a good price. Performance seems to be good too. A few years ago I couln’t really appreciate perfumes with dominant white floral notes, now I love them. How is that possible?!

I really like this. I purchased a bottle this week – it smells spicy, floral and warm, just like a garden in the humid summertime. It is not simple, nor overly complex. Somewhere in the middle. There is enough complexity for the scent to be interesting and to make you want a bit more.
Edit: the more I smell this, the more I like it. I’ve worn it many times now. I will definitely purchase a back up bottle!

This fragrance reminds me of Amarige by Givenchy.

I find this very tropical fruity when sprayed intially. Drydown is more floral vanilla than fruity. Lasts long enough for me and sillage is moderate.

Really lovely, it came on like fresh spring and then dries down to a powdery musk….very unique on my skin, I love it,
Lasts 3-4 hours which is very good for me.

This scent lingers between summer and fall, day and night. I can’t place it in one category. The pepper in the opening is very exiting and lively. The jasmin note is the strongest and it follows soon after. Most white florals are light and clean but Jasmin is also deep and sensual. Both aspects are well preserved in this perfume. The vanilla is there but not striking to my nose. It’s complimenting the jasmin in a warm and engaging way. I like how the sandalwood adds a nice, solid base while the patchouli creates a daring edge. This edge goes very well with the pepper! You could say this scent has many faces. It’s not fruity and tropical at all in my opinion. I would describe it as oriental.

This is an enjoyable, smoky combination of flowers, vanilla and pink pepper. Upon spraying it’s mostly the pink pepper that I smell, which gives the perfume it’s smoky, aromatic vibe. I find the sillage to be perfect, not overbearing or loud but someone standing in close proximity to you would be able to smell it. Longevity surpasses 6 hours on me.
As the scent progresses the Jasmin comes to the center stage, yet it doesn’t take away the spotlight of any of the other notes. Also I usually dislike lillies so I’m very happy that I can barely distinguish them. All the different notes blend together really well.
The drydown for me consists of mostly vanilla… The vanilla drydown strongly reminds me of the drydown of Diesel’s Loverdose, which I love. I would wear this on windy or rainy summer days or in the fall. It also works very well for nights. Personally I don’t find it very tropical either, it smells more aromatic to me.
Overall I really really like this perfume. So much that I’m considering getting a full bottle of it somewhere in the future. If I keep wearing it enough then this might even become a love for me.

Beautiful tropical scent, not kinda fruity, but kinda more mature and feminine. Sweet pefume, it smells like a holiday evening when you go out strolling after having your shower and puting up your luxurious bodylotion after spending a wonderful day at the beach, wearing your oils and suntan creams.

Just got it today and I really like it !! Assoluto is to me what I wanted Elie Saab resort 2017 to be! It is a warm floral, it has a hint of exotic., but it isn’t a fruity tropical scent, it is grown up, warm, sensuous, and at the same time fresh and not overly anything ..I detect the wisteria, which isn’t like overly floral if it makes sense, it isn’t that peppery either.., just a bright floral…it really manages to smell great without being boring! I am a big fan of Cavalli, their perfumes are always interesting, they don’t seem to follow the trends…Assoluto isn’t as bitterly aromatic as Paradiso, it is more rounded, feminine., ta hint of sweetness in the base, smooth too.amd casual…lovely!!

I really like this one. It’s sweet but not too much so. It’s tropical and fruity without being overbearing. The jasmine and pink pepper blend nicely together.

This is interesting. It reminds me with perfumey vintage scents, but with the modern amounts of sweetness added!
For the first time I used it, I found the initial opening full of passion fruit, as well as wisteria (too coconutty and green in a wild manner!), but then the perfume had shown a soft-spicy and a multi-floral vibe. And then “sweet” vanilla and a green touch (obviously the patchouli) bloomed and linked the smell of the flowers bouquet in a nice dry-down, which I consider to be fresh.
A nice choice for the spring and summer, although this is far from today’s typical crowd-pleasing picks. The sillage and longevity are perfect.
It’s very good and I really like it, but for a “paradise” this should have been much more creative, more uplifting, more attractive, less vanillic, and less coconutty.

Drydown: metallic jasmine and lily. Imagine Alien Thierry Mugler without the Oud and the Amber. I liked it a lot, and probably will purchase after I finish Mandarino Di Amalfi Tom Ford.
I saw Paradiso Assoluto sitting alone…nobody in the Roberto Cavalli section…and I was like…I’m spraying you on myself liberally now…
Starts rottenish and fresh at the same time. I got the pink pepper, the spicyness it gives, but it doesn’t really settle. Didn’t understand the wisteria, new note for my nose I guess. Doesn’t bother in the drydown either. Good balance between the florals that show up and the vanilla. Just enough vanilla and not gourmand.
Patchouli and sandalwood do not play major role in here, but they are rather tricky; seems that they just intensify jasmine and lily. Furry and fuzzy and smoked at times; but just enough for a summer type perfume.
And then it’s just metal. Metallicy jasmines with lily, very well blended together. The overall blend is good too… Intoxicating as it develops and it’s just oooh yummy, bloody yummy! A wrist crack.
Projection is good for the first two hours, after quite some time it stays more close to the skin. It surpassed my six hour limit of wear time. Easily worn in winter as well.
    A yes from me.

As usually… It was a blind buy. This time a good try!!! A very good one. That flowery softness is very well balanced with a spicy note. Just as much as you would wish not to get drowned by the red pepper. Perfect!
This is a type of a scent you would like to use in late autumn or early spring days.

It’s a familiar smelling, nice scent.
There’s floral scent of jasmine, spicy scent from pink pepper and sandalwood and sweetness from vanilla.
I think it’s the best from Paradiso line.
Very good, a little bit too ordinary, but not too masculine or bitter as the other fragrances from that line.
I’m glad to try this quite nice scent on a terribly rainy and cold day like today. It reminds me of tropical place or summer/spring.
