What a strange, intoxicating scent! I am definitely smelling something almost…treacle-y, or like steamed rice with sugar on top. The cherry mellows out pretty quickly on my skin and the vanilla and musk become very prominent in the mix.
This is really nice, and I wish I could enjoy the evolution of it because it smells like something very special, but it is giving me a terrible headache. So sad, but I’m very sensitive to certain smells.
On the plus side, it lingered even after a scrubbing so probably has great longevity!

This scent smells like a combination of cherry life savers and anise. I think it’s terribly yummy. As it dried down the scent reminded me of Lush’s Jingle Spells bath bomb. This is definitely a strong, “notice me” scent, but one that I find delicious.

LAB’S DESCRIPTION
“Compelling, complex, and utterly enigmatic: a luxuriant, exotic blend of cherry, red musk, and star anise.”
I was so excited about this one, Red Musk = yum! and Cherries = Yum2.
This blend is a perfet mix of all 3. The cherry is the first whoosh of lovliness and it’s dark. and sexy because of the red musk.
It fades out quite quickly, the lab’s cherry note always does on me. And the red musk and anise are side by side, equal parts. This is gorgeous in the dry down. I’m totally biased though because I adore red musk.
When I keep sniffing it’s like the red musk and the anise are taking it in turns to show me who’s boss! It’s equal..but at different times.
