Description

Kenzo launches Jeu d’Amour Félin in February 2017 as a new limited edition from the Jeu d’Amour fragrance line and as the “ultimate secret weapon in the game of seduction.” The new edition is announced to be for the “cat-like” women or “huntresses” who lead the game. As with previous editions, the new composition is signed by the perfume duo of Daphne Bugey and Christophe Raynaud.

The composition is described as extremely sensual, containing fruit aromas in the top including clementine and strawberry (Mara of the Woods). The floral character can be read in the heart, made of notes of peony, jasmine and tuberose. Its sensual and oriental trail is provided by the base featuring accords of patchouli, amber and musk.

The face of the perfume is Louise Bourgoin. It is available in a black bottle of the standard design of the collection as a 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

The original Jeu D’Amour and Lélixir are much better and more unique. I love those, but I don’t love this Félin. This one is more simple compared to Lélixir, and too plain, and less sophisticated compared to the original Jeu D’Armour.
I smelled the strawberry but not fresh, nor bad, mostly just patchouli and it was nice. I could hardly recognize tuberose, just a little jasmine, musk and amber. It is not a bad fragrance but it is quite boring among other great frags from the same line. I definitely can skip this Jeu for sure. It is not by any mean a “dark”, nor “mysterious”, nor “special” perfume. It is just OK.

I love Jeu d’Amour as a fresh floral daytime scent, I like Kenzo in general so I was very curious for the Jeu d’Amour flankers.
Félin is not what I expected. I don’t think this belongs in a black bottle. It’s not too similar to the original, but not a dark and sexy version either in my opinion.
I don’t smell strawberry, more blueberry or maybe blackberry. There is the typical “dark fruity” accord mixed with some shampoo scent. In the beginning I can also sense the tuberose note from the original Jeu.
The base reveals a light, warm, nice patchouli and a clean musk component.
It’s okay but to me the most boring of the Jeu d’Amour line.

I have Kenzo jeu d’amour elixir and like it a lot so I couldn’t wait to try new member of the family
When first sprayed,I was immediately reminded of jeu d’amour elixir.similarity was so much that first I thought I’m trying that one instead of new felin flanker but it’s black bottle ensured me
Their scents are as different as their bottles to my nose, same shape but different colors(not too different, both bottles have dark colors)
Kenzo jeu d’amour felin opens with caramelized berries, fruits aren’t fresh or bright and seemed more like blackberry not strawberry.it even has the same creamy white floral heart but instead of vanilla, there’s amber and patchouli here to give it heavier, warmer, more serious, deeper, darker and more grown up facets.a fall,winter/night scent.sexy and mature at the same time has a modern gourmand vibe.the first phase is almost syrupy sweet and heavy fruitchouli.nothing new but this type of perfumes are the trendy sexy scents of these days and I have to confess that I like it sometimes however I know that If I wear it on regular basis,I’m going to find it cloying.
As it dries down, syrupy sweetness of blackberry jam mellows and clean musk shows up.it’s drydown reminds me the drydown of miss dior 2012, the same clean musk, tamed patchouli and gentle amber blend with different types of flowers here which still have a hint of berryish undertone. finally in drydown I can sense a hint of strawberry instead of sweet dark berries of the opening
It was my first test and I will edit as soon as I can give it a better try but even right now,I know that I like it
I sprayed it once on my hand five hours ago and I can’t smell it anymore but it’s not a weak and faint scent and projects well while it lasts
I can live without it but I may buy it as it’s reasonably priced here

Unfortunately I don’t like it very well.
There’s definitely strawberry and pathcouli, I don’t think they go together well.
Also, a weird tuberose note. And amber.
It’s quite sweet and strong, nothing fresh about it.
Kind of heavy, it could be a winter scent in my opinion.

I got asked to test this fragrance, sadly I am a bit disappointed, for me it only smells citrusy/fresh, no sweetness to it. On me it also doesn’t last long, I don’t get that sexy mysterious feeling wit this one but more of a subtle and generic vibe. Defenately meant for young- mature adults but if you’re into that stuff I’d go for this one!

Going Through International Airport, I tried this New Kenzo Fragrance, The first thing that entered my mind was WOW!!…Settling delicately on my skin, I could smell the sweetness of the fruit, lingering on, I could smell the rest of the delicious notes. As I was passed by other passengers, they too, could smell the delicious notes up in the air…Also commenting Wow…what is that scent..turning back and discovering the new scent…To me, the Fragrance is amazing, it warms up so beautiful onto my skin…lingering on, leaving a soft trail. Love it, very feminine…KENZO JEU d’AMOUR FELIN….YOU HAVE WON ME…

I cannot distinguish this from cheap air freshener. To me it is absolutely disgusting and sooo lame and generic.

Yet again, people have voted on the notes of a perfume before it’s been released.
I understand that some lucky few may have the opportunity to test a fragrance before its official release date – but why vote on the notes, longevity or sillage without leaving a review?
Please – if you have tested a fragrance in this manner – leave a review and explain your opinion!
