The staff at Asmodeus were extremely helpful with ordering this to the US; I ordered it out of sheer curiosity after reading Sergey’s article about the perfumer.
I find it impossible to describe in terms of notes. It is warm but not sweet, with a certain waxy and silky quality. Unlike anything I have ever smelled, yet somehow familiar. It is a private perfume, with a purity about it that is removed from fashion or show. One can well imagine Mr. Oleynikov distilling many of the essences himself. In fact I see this as a sort of self portrait of the perfumer.
It is something I come back to again and again. Wonderful.
