After my successful experience with ted lapidus white soul and white soul gold,ted lapidus perfumes were under my radar.a good friend of mine recommended creation de minuit so today when I saw it in local perfume shop,I asked SA for a test.he sprayed it on back of my hand.tge most prominent note to my nose was blank berry.I liked this juicy blackberry-a light touch of rose fruityfloral but I expected more.it was nice smelling but didn’t make me want to buy it.I was looking forward to enjoy a pretty musky heliotrope so I was dissapointed
So I left the shop.I could catch whiffs of it sometimes but
But now,after more than one hour,I’m at home and I can observe it carefully I’m facing something completely different.there’s still berry here but it’s not juicy.overall scent has changed to something dry and very powdery.kind of scents that I see them as a lipsticky rose on a cedar base.a dry,powdery,woody,musky berry-rose combo.it has elegance and sort of retro vibe that I find intresting and pleasant
Unfortunately it doesn’t last more than three hours on my skin.still I see it more than nice smelling fruityfloral of the first minutes and I want to give it other chance.it’s intresting drydown which reminded me volnay perfumes deserves to give time

I was thinking it would be much more interesting and dark then it turned out to be. The fragrance is old fashioned, but not like some luxury perfume from the 70’s, it’s more like some cheap perfume from the 80’s – 90’s. Don’t get me wrong, it smells nice… but nothing more then just ‘nice’. It is boring, cheap and too old fashioned. Not for me…
