Share:

Description

Fragrance that became a classic of this designer’s house was launched in 1995. Nino Cerruti, was known as “the youngest of the great classics,” opened the first Cerruti boutique in Paris in 1967, on rue Royale.
The first women’s line appeared in 1976, achieving the reputation of impeccably elegant style. Cerutti perfumes are made of finest high-quality materials. That is why the perfumer chose a “fleur de lin” note that is Nino Cerruti‘s signature flower.
Perfume was created by Claire Cain. Bottle is designed by Serge Mansau.

I just purchased this on EBay. Love it but does not last on me at all. Staying power is soooo weak. I’m gonna use it as room spray. The mimosa is lovely, also the iris and chamomile. This review is for the gold cap by the way. I’ve never smelled the original. It’s truly beautiful since I enjoy clean soapy fragrances. It is also well balanced given all the flowery notes is composed of. I truly wish the staying power wasn’t so poor. On me it’s very close to skin. I was going to return it but decided to keep it even if I have to respray it 20 times a day. On my clothes smells like a nice laundry soap. Perhaps in the warmer months it will perform better on me. I guess I have to wait and see

I don’t know what is it about this one…I liked it a lot but lately it seems like it turned or something…all I get from it now is a very sharp powdery rose that’s choking me…so weird

I just purchased this and it is the latest version. It smells lousy . Bad . ( Sorry)
Maybe it smelled good years ago , but not now. This is disappointing . It smells watery and slightly herbal . Mostly nothing .
I am surprised, because I read so many great reviews of this one. Save your money .
Calling it a grandma scent is insulting to grandmas.
( By the way , my grandma smelled heavenly . I am now a grandma and I wear Chanel Allure . I smell pretty damn good !)

Soapy, fresh and clean. Fluffy as a cloud. I have adored This sinde my teenage years. Got one again in a present last year. What a beautiful reconnection we made. Silage and longevity is above average. The cormforting and soothing scent is feminine and innocent. A non offensive and delicate perfume.

This is my second review of Cerruti 1881, and it differs from the first review 3 years ago.
This is what I said –
I received this today as a christmas present….and I love it. Its a beautiful floral, fresh and sweet smelling fragrance… I definately think it is a summer fragrance, and day wear to the office as its such a pleasnt smell and a people pleaser…….maybe not what I would wear for an evening out but I love this perfume. Its very long lasting too, considering its an EDT, it lasts longer than some of my EDPs.
Back then, I was only just beginning to collect my perfume wardrobe.
Today I can maybe give a better review, now that I have worn it for 3 years.
So initially I said that it is perfect for summer wear, but in fact I find it even better in spring or autumn, it’s very office friendly and could really be worn all year round, even in the depths of winter.
I received my original bottle as a christmas present, and then purchased another 100ml bottle of it when I read in Fragrantica that it was being reformulated. The way to tell this was the colour of the bottle cap…..so when I saw this I quickly grabbed myself a bottle as a back up.
On first initial spray it does tend to be sharp-ish, but I am patient enough to know that within 30+ minutes it will become the most beautiful fresh powdery floral you could wish for. Can powdery floral feel fresh? yes it can. I love freesias, and I find the note pretty quickly, though the rose note escapes me for some reason until much later. The drydown is to die for, Cedar is one of my favourite notes, and its there for me in abundance, along with Sandalwood, Vanilla & musk. In my 3 years of collecting perfumes I have bought some wonderful fragrances, and Cerruti at £19.99 for 100ml is sold in the ‘not cool’ section of the perfume counter, but it sits proudly next to my Guerlains and Chanels… and is worn a LOT….because it fits so well to any occasion. Work, play and evenings out.

It’s been 8+ hours since I sprayed my wrist with it and I can still smell it. I like the opening of this perfume, very pleasant, flowery and sweet but not too much. After 20 mins or so it changes into something fizzy and I’m not a great fan of this stage, but what happens next is one of the most comforting fragrances I can think of. Camomile tea with honey and flowers… There’s warmth but it’s very light and refreshing at the same time, so delicate and gentle. And it lasts and lasts. Well made perfume.

Nonrisky, simple, floral rose, weak, mom, grandma scent. Suitable for everyone but bottle isnt good it broke down easily. Felt from height in home. Fortunately ended. Like for perfume.

I agree with the person below me, this is definitely a mom scent. It reminds me of my mother in her youth in the kitchen making sesame dumplings…wearing a pretty dress and looking so elegant and feminine.
Usually for me perfumes either feel too young or too mature, this scent falls perfectly in the middle. There is something there that is fun and happy, but bordering on maternal and maturity.
I really want this badly to be my sig but it just doesn’t last. I don’t know about the vintage versions (it’s so hard to find!)…but the metal cap version is very sheer…so sad. =[

It smells like a mom. Don’t know what that means until you smell it.
It’s nice, comforting, warm, and cozy.
The only reason I did not like it on my skin is because I am not a huge fan of powdery smelling perfumes, and this does smell very powdery.
Doesn’t match my personality, but it is a nice perfume and worth a sniff.

The new formula is not good enough for even as an air freshener! Try before you spend any money on it.
    And try something better!
It smells like an old kitchen cloth which was washed for years with various detergents and softeners.

I’m wearing this fragrance most days. Today, I’d just finished pumping gas into my car when a nice man on the other side of the pump said, “I thought I smelled a Señorita.” His English wasn’t especially fluent, but he complimented me several times. For someone who rarely gets comments on my perfumes, this made me smile for quite a while.

This one is pure nostalgia, brings me back to the early noughties..It was one of the first real perfumes I bought and wore it a lot on spring-summer evenings and nights when we were going out to clubs flirting fellas. To me it always smelled more FRUITY than anything – I was actually shocked to see the notes here! I always thought it smelled like really ripe cantaloupe melon, musk and summer flowers, plus something woody like sandalwood in the background..Not talking about synthetic melons though, but the actual real deal! I sprayed it on myself today at the chemist`s and yep – I still get the exact same impression, except that the melon fades away and mimosa and chamomile appear along with sandalwood.
And what`s more – regardless of the memories, I`d still wear it! It`s elegant, juicy, tad bit powdery and soapy in a super-clean sense. Wonderful invigorating day-time perfume for the warmer months!

i remember the first time i smelled it on my best friend. i thought she smelled like an ANGEL. such a divine smell.
    that was 15 years ago.
since then i used quite a few diffrent perfumes, ranging from light blue to chloe fluer.
but yesterday i bought this again for i tried it a few weeks ago and the smell is just as i rememberd. it last long and the few times a day i gett a wiff of it, i feel amazing. pleasent calm and beautiful.
i fell back in love with it… and i think its sirious this time…
    realy marvalous scent.

How can I say this in a way that doesn’t sound bad….
It smells like my mother’s bathroom. But that is not a bad thing, because going into that room you would think no one had ever pooed in there before. Like it’s too pretty to. Tons of decorative unused candles. Matching decorative towels, curtains, and accents. Not a speck of dust anywhere. And the smell of Cerruti. Kind of powdery. Fresh. Clean but not soapy.

I vaguely remember this when it came out. But in those days, all I wanted was my regular signature scent (Estee Pure Fragrance Spray). This is such a nice and very affordable fragrance! I’m enjoying it so much! It lasts a long time, too. I hope it is never discontinued.

It appears I have been living under a rock. How come I didn’t sniff this marvel earlier? You tell me.
I only thought about giving this a try after seeing it hailed as one of the best all-rounders in a thread. In other words, thank you fellow Fragranticans for blowing my mind once more with your amazing recommendations.
Long story short, I had the biggest déjà vu when smelling this (or déjà senti, I guess ?)… I remember it, it’s one of those elusive fragrances that you have spotted many times before on people without ever knowing its name.
It is just as casual as it is sophisticated, but also incredibly enveloping and reassuring. It is a warm, soothing embrace. It is the smell of a loving mother who tells you everything will be ok.

I was gifted the version with the marble-like cap.
My nose detects a very sharp and crisp scent. It is a linear scent that doesn’t develop on my skin.

    Cerruti 1881:
After all these year’s I have NEVER once tired of this perfumes inner beauty & When I wear it it always makes me feel happy to be alive!! This reminds me of the most beautiful fresh clean crisp linen that’s been outside dried in the warm sunlight in a meadow of wild flowers & their aroma is carried on the breeze for quite a distance!! When I wear this beautiful perfume I always feel shower clean & fresh no matter what time of the day it is,& the longevity is absolutely amazing!! Why on earth did Cerrito have to change the Marble top on the bottle till the plain boring metallic one? As personally I much preferred the older marble one!! A real classy clean beauty & A sure winner for Cerruti!!

  21. :

Unbelievable, that this scent feels still not boring at all, after all these years on a market. This scent, so comfortable and recognizable, could be worn by a girl in her 16 and by a woman 60+, so versatile, non-offensive, office-friendly and still unique.
It is slightly powdery, camomile/fresia light-pink floral mix (the color of the bottle reflects the scent very well).
You cannot go wrong with this one!

Got this perfume today. like Chloe Love by Chloe, this smells of extreeme cleanliness and has a vintage soapy vibe: powder+ what a perfume for women should smell like. A beautiful discovery.

  23. :

    3 out of 5

The opening smells quite old fashioned if you ask me: I get mostly mimosa and fresia – gentle floral.
The drydown softens the notes a bit and here comes the chamomile – delicate one, iris and a little bit of musk.
It’s truly very inofensive safe and office friendly fragrance. But I do get that vintage vibe from it and I prefer more of a modern take on florals.

There was a bottle of Cerruti 1881 lying around the house at some point – having belonged to one of my sisters of my mother.
I used it for a while, liking the violet as well as the coriander and jasmine.
This perfume is at once both classic and modern. I just found out it was created in 1995 – that shocks me somewhat. It is not your typical 90s fragrance.
There is something cosy about this perfume and I see someone else describe it as “womanly”.
    Fairly long-lasting.Gorgeous bottle as well.

What a lovely timeless perfume, my sons friends mum wears this.
It is subtle but strong! and very fresh! pretty scent, a very safe buy that literally subtly strong!
Fresh VERY feminine and just a beautiful scent that is non offence and so affordable!.
    I adore this!

This is one of my favorite perfumes of all time. I have spent hundreds (lol I realized it is now in the thousands) of dollars on perfume but by far this is the best buy I ever made for only $10 dollars on eBay. This perfume has an old soul/nostalgic feel to it. By old soul I do not mean the powerful strong scented perfumes; it is the chamomile, mimosa, and woodsy notes that brings you back to the happy simple life. I get compliments ALL the time and I think it is because people also get that nostalgic impression from this scent. This is not the scent for smelling fresh and crisp but you (and the people around you) can feel a sense of comfort.

Decided to try this before buying it for a friend’s birthday. She said she likes it and I was curious what it smelt like. My friend is very vivacious, loud and likes to be the centre of attention. Initially when I sprayed this perfume I thought mmmmm, this is quite nice and then wondered how she would wear anything so delicate (she normally wears Clinique Aromatics). Then on the dry down I understood. It dries to deep musky pushy layers which bustle for attention. You will smell me!
Yes it is very much my friend’s kind of fragrance, bottle ordered.

I was so excited to try this perfume that I gave myself 3 sprays right out of the box! Turns out that was a little bit of overkill, one or two would be perfect for this beauty. It is much more complex than the airy, watery “clean” scents that have flooded the market in the past 10 years, though I would call this one clean and quite powdery and a little soapy. Delicious!
Smelling it in the box I think of peaches, but the only fruit appears to be lime. It’s a heady floral/woody scent. I LOVE this fragrance, the opening is creamy and very uplifting and the mid notes and dry down become increasingly herbal and woody until what’s left is quite a masculine warmth. I like that it’s not overtly feminine all the way through. It’s quite potent in a pleasing way, not so much in your face as confidently apparent.
I can’t believe I haven’t tried cerruti before. Perfect for the cooler months and thankfully for me anyway, the vanilla is blended rather than a detectable individual note.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

My review is for the new formulation with the metallic cap. First of all I love 90’s perfumes. They are usually much more complex than the pefumes of the current decade. Cerruti 1881 is no exception. I definitely see the colour pink when smelling this perfume. It is very girly, feminine and clean. Cerruti contains many different flowers though no specific flower jumps out at me. It is a very smooth blend. However I can sense Chamomile very softly and gently in the background. I find this fragrance to be unique and recognizable, definitely a good signature. lasting power is very good and I could see this fragrance being worn at all times but I think it is better for daytime and a perfect office scent.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Too woody for my liking and it has a masculine vibe.its kk but i do not love it. DE sillage and longevity for me is poor. Wnt repurchase

  34. :

    3 out of 5

Smells like the 90s -not quite vintage but definitely outdated. Too complex floral for me, but thankfully by the 90s they took out the civets and aldehydes from these types. Nothing offensive about it, it’s quite wearable, if a little soapy. Overall not super impressive though and in such competition with amazing smells it will barely go past a test for me.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

I describe a one-time contact with eau de toilette with my skin.
Disappointment a little bit. Soap, creamy. The easiest way to describe it. A little neat, a little something to feel there, especially no note I did not distinguish.
Persistence good, weakening, after 3 hours to feel a little but a total of all day, about 9 hours. Maybe it was different a time ago,but it is known that perfumes are reformulating so… it is not impressive now

  36. :

    4 out of 5

Herbal, floral and woody fragrance. Mature, aromatic and classy. Too intense for me. I prefer more easy going scents.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

WOW this smells so good. I imagine that it smells like a delicious pink soap for woman. Need to get this for my girl ASAP

  38. :

    3 out of 5

This is a case where I wish I hadn’t read the reviews of this perfume before buying, because I’m fairly certain 1881 has been reformulated at some point and my experience with this perfume is quite different than most of the reviews I read. I was expecting a soft, sweet floral perfume and was shocked when I opened the box and my first sprays revealed a herbal perfume with a woody base. I was extremely disappointed and put the perfume away in a dresser drawer. A year or so later I pulled it out, this time with adjusted expectations, and tried it again…and I surprised myself with how much I liked it!
To my nose it’s on the verge of being unisex or even masculine, so I wear it on days when I want something different than my usual florals or sweet perfumes. Longevity and sillage are both very good–a couple of sprays easily last for my entire work day.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

Probably you are anosmic to it. Some note is too intense to your nose and it reacts to the overload by neutralyzing the scent. Sometimes over time you can smell it but sometimes you don’t. Also don’t overspray it just intensifies the lack of scent.spray the least amount possible.
When you feel burnt rubber or root beer in perfumes that have too much vanilla it is also sensory overload but a different reaction mechanism.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

Just sampled this, and I am wondering if something must be wrong with the sample I got… because two minutes after spraying it, I can’t even smell it on myself. At all. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m reluctant to purchase it because maybe it’s my body chemistry.

This is the fragrance I reach for most frekvently. I absolutely love it!

  42. :

    5 out of 5

I loooove this!! It’s so soothing to the soul. I blind bought a 30ml bottle of the older formulation with the marble lid and fell instantly in love! I have not tried the new formulation and don’t dare to fearing it will disappoint. Whenever I find the pink marble lid bottle I buy it..this is the only perfume I don’t want to run out of. This is not a “boring” floral it’s powdery but at the same time fresh, woody, herbal with great longevity, the beauty of this perfume is that you keep getting wafts of the beautiful scent all day long without it being in your face, it’s just there by your side whispering softly and comforting you.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

So easy to wear. A breeze. A pleasure.
Musky and floral. Apricots and cream.
(Reformulation, albeit still perfectly passable & palatable, smells strongly of alcohol and then touches on fuzzy mold.)
    GO VINTAGE. GO.
    Pastel.
Dominant notes for my nose: JASMINE, IRIS, MUSK.
“JIM” – NOT SO CATCHY A NAME AS “1881”.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

I adore NICHE, expensive fragrances. I have spent my life searching for that one, unique scent that transcends all others.
And yet, all along – this delicate, floral, beautiful scent was here….right under my nose!
I first wore this in 1996. Back then everyone would comment on how delicious I smelt whenever I wore it. Day, or night.
    So, I thought I’d take a chance again – 20 years later.
I am in love all over again. Perhaps it’s the nostalgia? The memories of balmy nights spent dancing in Ibiza – or the carefree days when I was in my early twenties. But I really think it’s more than that. This is a fabulous scent.
Not quite Serges Lutens in complexity, or Les Exclusitifs in refinement – but it has excellent sillage and longevity – with a delicate, warm, floral explosion of soft romanticism.
    Highly underrated!

    @Objections: it’s from 1995! 🙂

Wow, very pretty and feminine. Its very delicate and romantic smelling! For me it brings to mind wildflowers. Found at a yard-sale for 7 bucks! Super inoffensive. I wouldn’t have ever guessed this perfume is from 1995! Smells like something that could’ve been made today!
Im a bit confused about the reviews saying its harsh, on me its a pleasant, very there/but faint at the same time scent. Upon first smell my guess was peony, rose, tea, and chamomile. Well, I was right about two of the notes! Thank you Scia, updated it!~

  47. :

    5 out of 5

I used the fragrance finder on the Boots site, which gave Cerruti 1881 a 100% match to my discontinued signature (Lancome Miracle So Magic). I blind bought a bottle and put some of the fragrance on a few hours ago.
While I didn’t genuinely expect it to be that close, I can’t detect a single note this fragrance has in common with MSM. 1881 is quite sharp, and it seems like all the notes are in the upper range. It’s the aromatic equivalent to turning on a music player and getting all treble, no bass. It’s strong and it’s sharp.
You get a lot of sillage and projection for your money; I only wish it was the scent for me.
(It’s easily accessible, and it’s inexpensive, but if anyone wants to swap for something similar, please feel free to get in touch.)

  48. :

    4 out of 5

I strongly support opinion of all reviewers who wrote that 1881 is non-offensive, friendly, discrete, subtle, office-friendly and comforting perfume for semi-formal occasions and summer months.
Also, Cerruti 1881 is a fragrance which is for sure underrated and pushed aside by recent production, and that is a pity.
It opens opulently, with burst of flowers and touch of citruses, but the first impression can be misleading because it very quickly settles in a completely opposite direction and becomes very soft.
Floral heart is quiet and shy, and is all dressed up in woods and healing and herbal aroma of chamomile and galbanum, similar to the scent of half-dried aromatic grass, and that evokes the association of linen.
It is not sweet, but it isn’t sharp or bitter.
It is herbal, but it isn’t green.
It is fresh but that freshness isn’t buzzy, bursting – it is a sort of calm presence – something like freshly polished old woods with a cup of chamomile tea and a vase of flowers on it.
So, if f you’re looking for something that will lift you up and keep you up – look elswhere, because 1881 will do that only in a first floral blast. Then it will subtly soften and linger by the skin, as linen clothes softens and shapes around the body.
Cerruti’s 1881 discrete strength and true beauty is in gradual rise of softness, in the comfort of mild flowers, in charmingly herbal breath of chamomile, in the subtle warmth of woods, and in unintrussive velvety powderness of iris.
It feels like scented equivalent of very classy linen material touching fresh, bare skin on a hot day.
1881 is casual, but not lose, common or cheap, it provides soft and warm freshnes and acts classy without screaming for attention.
I have tried and wore quite a lot perfumes, but I can’t think of none floral-woody with such perfect level of performance and endurance on 35+ Celsius sunny heat.
Above all, Cerruti is reliable when many fragrance’s give up, and that is tremendously important.
As a true lover of opulent forals and rich orientals, I need not ask for more in daily use during hot summers.
    1881 is just truly great.
    * LOVE (3rd bottle)
    * longevity: long lasting (8+ hours)
    * silage: moderate (arms lenght, if generously applied)
    * weather/season/time: Possibly all year round. But it blooms in warm weather, and has a superb performance in hot (+30 C and up to 40 C!) weather conditions.
    Casual to formal. Day.

    “THE GRAND COMPROMISE”
Regarding my preferences in perfumes, I should have organized my life where temperature never rises above 25 C, where summer is like spring and lasts about a month, and winters are harsh and long.
    But no.
I’ve moved to live in a Mediterranean coast, so from the middle of May to the last days of September average air temperature goes from 22 to almost 40 degrees of Celsius.
    In the shade.
So I do have a problem with late spring and summer perfumes, because I can’t safely cuddle with my beloved rich florals and deep warm orientals.
Also, I’m not especially fond of citrusy scents, or sharp greens, or lavender freshness, or ozonic or aquatic scents, or this modern light sugary “fruit-floral-whatever-waters”.
It is a bit frustrating how many of my searches for summer perfume ends with: ” “nope”.
    And then: “nope”.
    And then again “nope”.
So I keep coming back to 1881.
    I call 1881 – “The Grand Compromise”.
Cerruti’s1881 is the compromise that turned out to be so great that I sometimes forget that it still is a compromise with my usual preferences.
But I guess that’s how the life works in general: when you reach the most satisfying outcome, you stick to it.
Somehow you even forget that the bond initially started with compromise.
You do it because it’s great.
    It happens when it’s great.
    Cerutti 1881 is absolutely great.

This could be such a good smell if it weren’t for the pungent, sharp, indolic jasmine in it.

I adore Cerruti 1881 for its soft and clean floral aromatic aura. It is very elegant, timeless and easy to wear. I love the floral opening and the developing herbal and aromatic tones. Drydown is a bit masculin on my skin, more floral on clothing. Sillage and longevity are great, and all in all Cerruti 1881 feels like a well blended high quality perfume. Makes me think of a sunny day by the sea, sailboats and relaxed weekends. Wearable year round, gives happy and serene feeling.

I was so excited to get this for Christmas. I have tested it many times in the past and loved it. My sister in law used to wear it all the time and it always smelled beautiful on her.
What happened? Even though it’s an EDT it’s nothing like my past experiences of it. I was so disappointed. The herbal side is overwhelming the beautiful light florals and it smells nothing like the perfume I’ve loved and coveted for many years. I’m very sad. I’ve only used it once and have 99mls left to endure.

This was on my test list for literally 4 years before I finally gave in and blind swapped for it! I’m so glad I did. It’s fresh, light, and slightly herbal. Chamomile isn’t a note I encounter often in scents and it’s done well here! There’s a backing of sweet, powdery rose beneath it. There are tons of other notes but they blend gorgeously into a cohesive and feminine scent. It does smell innocent, but innocent in the way that a petite blonde French girl might seem innocent before you really get to know her!
I can see why this was so popular for so long, and at the same time I really appreciate that it isn’t at all like what one of today’s mainstream scents smells like. I’m happy to have it in my wardrobe. I think the bottle is super cute too, even though they got rid of the marbled cap (which was what originally attracted me to the scent in the first place).

I decided to blind buy this based on the reviews. It is a very herbal scent, more so than I expected. I would describe it as a floral herbal scent, not as powdery as described.

You’ve just taken a luxurious bath and are wearing just a hint of dusting powder and your most comfortable robe as you enter a sunny room with wood floors, old books, and a huge bouquet of fresh pink roses.
I blind bought a vintage bottle and am very happy I did.

I think this is a somewhat strong, breezy (is there such a word? anyway it seems more becoming than “fresh”), woody, flowery sort of aroma. I cannot recognize any flower in particular, but how else to describe this fume of bright colour, similar to the colour of its (current) bottle? I can’t say it’s “love at first sniff”, but I suppose this an acquired taste. And it lasts.

A friend of mine wears this in work, whenever I walk into her office I pick it up and have to say I think it’s stunning, fresh and clean, not so “perfumey” (this is from a male point of view btw).
To me smells very classy and defined, she gave me a telling off when I asked what it was as I bought it for her a couple years ago (I forgot obviously lol).
    Nice!

It goes off so quickly that I can’t fully enjoy its beauty!:(
Summer is the best season for Cerruti.
It’s crystal, fresh and floral, very feminine and seductive. Sometimes I smell some plastic notes but it’s freesia’s feature I assume, anyway it adds spice and sex to the composition. I’m happy to have purchased it.

This was a blindbuy and to be honest I was a little worried about it since it’s a floral lunched in nineties, and you know how aggressive and sharp and soapy classic florals can be..but I am a really lucky girl when it’s about blindbuys
This is definitely a floral, but not s sharp one..color of liquid, soft pink in the frosted round bottle truely explains the scent..this is pink but not in a girly, sparkly, playful way,it’s an elegant, ladylike, serious but also very kind pink
Cerruti 1881 is all about florals, like a huge vase full of freshlycut flowers, florals are high quality and natural and blended well, though chamomile, watery rose and powdery violet and iris standout the most..florals are fresh, soft powdered,a tad green,a little herbal and clean in a nonsoapy way..I usually don’t like green, herbal scents but here this qualities add a natural feeling to flower bouquet which I like a lot.but this initial green freshness fades and dries down to a warm Musky floral, very pleasant
My bottle is a bit different from the picture here,it’s cap is rose gold color so I think it’s a post reformulation one,I’ve not tested vintage one,but this is likable and non offensive, and Longevity and sillage are decent but in a soft, non aggressive way
I think it’s good to wear it everytime except winters and is good for +25 but is not a sweet playful girly scent
If you like soft powdery florals I recommend you firmly to give it a try
    ❤❤❤❤

This was a blind buy for me, based on all of the rave reviews this perfume received, and because it has many of the notes that I like in a perfume. I tried not to let the reviews build up my expectations too much – I’ve done that before and it’s come back to bite me on the bum. It’s, well, it’s pretty but…I’m underwhelmed. I was trying to think of the best way to describe this scent, and JaxTheMinx nailed it – it’s a mild, timid sort of fragrance. It has so many of the notes I like, but none of them really jump out at me; no one particular note takes centre stage, at any time. It’s like they’re at a party, standing all huddled together in the corner, too scared to come forward and introduce themselves; instead, they’re all scrambling to hide behind each other, desperately trying to avoid making eye contact and draw attention to themselves. I like perfumes where you can pick out the different notes, and where the perfume evolves over time and the different notes pop out to say hi. This perfume doesn’t do that – it lacks gumption, and, as Kittycat63 says, it’s one-dimensional. Pretty, but one-dimensional. Nine times out of ten, I can pick out individual notes in a perfume – not all of them (my nose is still learning!), but generally at least half. In t
