Nice powdery violet and by that I mean that it strikes a good balance between the ‘candied violet’ and the ‘flowery/green violet’. To me the aoud is barely there and what I can sniff is adequately blended so probably safe enough for those who are not so keen on aoud. Sillage is quite big and longevity is good too. Think this is a safe blind buy for violet fans. (review of the spray version)
P.S. The bottle is very pretty too if one’s into ornamented bottles 🙂
