I am not sure if i have a different version of this but I own this and Vibrant Leather EDP and they are absolutely not the same juice. Not even close. Much more creamy, maybe 65% similar, if that. I like it but I prefer Vibrant Leather. I am really confused by people who mention that Vibrant Leather EDP is the exact same as this. I own both and it absolutely is not the same.

I got Zara night IV not too long ago and on the box it’s says Eau de parfum and on the front of the bottle also then you read the sticker on the bottom it’s says Eau de toilette c’mon they are playing with us. If you got Vibrant Leather don’t bother with the new versions get CDNI instead it is much better in overall performance. Even Chris Adams Dreamz man is better.

Back in the zara stores, I bought a bottle today.
The scent is like Vibrant Leather EDT and Night IV EDP.
120ml EDP 19.95 €, I think zara’s marketing department sees that people love Vibrant Leather and sell very fast and zara charge more.
Night IV 100ml EDP was 12.95 € and has the same smell.
I only bought one bottle because Zara launches this perfume every year, but if you want this fragrance you must buy fast because sold out quickly.
I like the magnetic cap very fancy kkk.

This is the office approved clone of Aventus. It is brighter, less smokey, and more tame than Aventus. My favorite clone by far. It lasts all day on me with slightly below average projection. Just the way I like it because I work in close quarters with people. Less smokey than Insurrection Pure II, not as synthetic and loud as Club de Nuit Intense Man, smells better than L’Aventure. Perfect everyday masculine fragrance.

    Same DNA as Aventus
    Not as smokey
    Bit more ?creamy/smooth
Elegant and quite frankly speaking close to the real deal.
Club de nuit has a very lemony top while this is smooth from the start and smells like the drydown of Aventus from the very first spray… (MINUS SMOKE)
Good for everyday will do 75% of the job
Save the expensive stuff for special occasions
Performance wise it’s average 4-6 hours
Projection is ok (not a screamer)
If you find it just grab it
If you are a snob – gift it.
    Solid clone.. I mean cologne

Interestingly the sticker on the bottom says “Eau de toilette” . I do get the similarities with Aventus. From the opening this smells like the drydown of Aventus to me, which I love. I’d say 1 hour of decent projection then it’s a skin scent for about 6-7 more hours.
    Longevity – 8/10
    Projection – 5/10
    Smell – 7.5/10
Overall 7/10. Not bad for the price.

This fragance make me a very bad skin reaction , everytime i wear this fragance and put this on my skin i feel pain and burn my skin, yesterday i had burn areas on my neck …Smells good , and have similatires with Aventus, buts this have much alcool.

Yes, it is no longer in stores and no longer to be found on Zara online store. After sampling it, bought it online before Christmas, with a discounted price of 9,99€.
I really do not understand this fragrance, on some clothes I get really good longevity, on other clothes it fades away after couple of hours, can not even detect it. Sprayed my pillow, and it lasted couple of days, sprayed going out to the bar six or seven times, by the time when I got there about 30 minutes later, I and others could not tell I was wearing anything.
Other then that, I would say it is a really great as a scent, lovely and pleasant, fruity and creamy, when sprayed on skin bamboo note becomes noticeable, not so much when sprayed on clothes. It has a slight Aventus, more like fruity Cedrat Boise vibe, more so Orchid Man and Decimo, but only when you get the whiffs from the distance, I would not call it as a clone of anything, it is just a scent that shares fruity, citrus vibe.

Maybe they will re-release as a true EDP next time.
Yet on a pillow I could smell it for a couple of days.

Finally reduced to £7.99 in the Zara Winter Sale … & yes you guessed it … has now all sold out !
Didn’t even last as long as it’s predecessor ‘Vibrant Leather’!
Get it together ffs Zara ! :/

As mentioned below, bottle and box everywhere states that it is Parfum, but the sticker below says EDT.

    Dear all,
Yes. This one has some similarities with Aventus and is a decent scent but honestly (and unfortunately) there is no comparison between the two.
Thus, if you like it , buy and enjoy the fragrance but please don’t buy it convinced that this one is a good and cheap copy of Aventus.
I wish you all an happy new year!

    @ Konga5000
I really don’t understand the huge amount of rage you demonstrate in your review.
For God’s sake. We are talking about a 10 euros fragrance.
You say things like ” I HATE seeing people throw their money away on BAD BLIND BUYS !!!”.
For God’s sake. We are talking about a 10 euros fragrance.
As for the fragrance itself it’s easy to understand that we do not agree with each other. But I do recognise your right to not like this fragrance and I respect your opinion.
EDIT 1: My brother in law that only wears Penhaligon’s Douro since more than 10 years ago, bought this bottle at Zara and uses it everyday now. He does not have a clue of what Aventus Creed is. He just says that this Zara fragrance is divine.

Fellow fragrantiquers, I have the honour to present:
THE VIBRANT LEATHER KILLER OR NOT JUST ANOTHER AVENTUS CLONE
I bought a bottle of Aventus for 260.00 Euros one year ago.
This 100 ml Zara bottle costed me 10.00 Euros online. It is smoother, deeper and more performant than Vibrant leather. I’ll just finnish my almost full bottle of Vibrant Leather as it no longer makes sense to have it. I have a way better Zara IV and less expensive.
I also have Insurrection II Pure, Impredictable Adventure, Lomani Silver, Rich Leather, L’Aventure and 2 full bottles of Club de Nuit Intense Homme. I don’t have any doubts now that Zara IV is the fragrance I prefer besides Creed Aventus (thinking only of Aventus and its legion of clones; I do prefer other Perfumes to Aventus, like Bvlgari Man in Black).
    WHY?
Let’s see the maths for Zara IV:
Scent: 9.5 (my judgement – all the notes are very well blended, they smell expensive, and as a whole it’s strong and performant but not cloying; If the aim of the fragrance maker, or the fragrance buyer, is to obtain a very good Aventus clone, then success is granted; The opening is not so “pineapple” as Aventus and CDNI. It is also less “smokier” than Aventus or CDNI during the development. In compensation we get a smooth wonderfull citrusy opening – very similar to pineapple – instead of a harsh surprise as in CDNI. All the notes work together like an orchestra to give you a wonderfull scent and a marvelous dry down. You cannot stop comparing this scent with the current batch of Aventus as they are VERY similar, from the opening till the dry down end)
Longevity:8.0 (a bit above average for the existing notes – between 7 and 8 hours). I do not need more.
Sillage: 7.5 (3~4 feet at its peak with 3 sprays; projects for less than 2,5 hours). I do not need more.
Uniqueness: 8.0 (clone of Adventus but not just another clone. Preetty unique, considering that it’s the best clone for me)
Wearability: 9.5 (all year round, day or night, but inferior to some summer scents in very hot weather). I do not need more.
Versatility: 9.0 (yes to clubbing, socializing, events, restaurants, bars, dates, romancing, sex, office, picnics, weaddings, movies, birthday gift…. no to beach and work out). I do not need more.
Quality: 9.0 (my judgement – it really smells expensive, creammy and smooth; the sprayer is awsome). I do not need more.
Presentation: 8.0 (traditional looking but effective quality bottle; hard to do better considering the price). I do not need more.
Price: 10.0 (100 ml tester for 10 Euros with taxes and free shipping; it really deserves an 11.0). If it goes on sale for 9 Euros, I will not buy it as there must be something very wrong with the fragrance composition…. hahahaha
    Average: 8.72/10.00
Ok… I understand now why I do love this fragrance and judge it to be the best AVENTUS CLONE

okay im no expert in colognes/fragrances but after people raving on about this stuff i ordered some.I am very disappointed. When i sprayed it on i got the opening citrusy blast and it smelt to me like moschino uomo. Then once dried down i have to say it smells like soap powder!! in fact i could hardly smell anything apart from this.I would gladly let someone take this off my hands for same price i paid for it.I guess you shouldnt blind buy!

I have Creed Aventus (decants of several batches) plus many clones – FBs of CDNIM, Supremacy Silver, Al Dur Al Maknoon and Zara Rich Leather and samples of L’Aventure and Rasasi Zebra.
I can tell you that this ZNPH IV is the closest to the scent profile of Aventus from all of them. Did A-B with real Aventus on my other hand a couple of times. Projection is good for about 2-3 hours, then it is skin scent for total of about 5-6 hours. Cloning job done for scent 9/10, for performance 5/10. Worth the price? Up to you. I have FB and spray liberally for this price.

Already discontinued it would seem !??
Reduced (in the UK to £9.99 in the post Xmas sale), no longer listed in their ‘mens perfumes’ section online .. and seems to have sold out in the sale section.
Typical Zara .. they get a popular seller .. & they discontinue it !
Popping up on the well known auction site already for double it’s retail price. Here we go again ! :-S

    MarkMark74:
You’re right, on box and bottle eau de parfum, on sticker it says eau de toilette.
    Probably a wrong sticker???

  25. :

In my bottle there is EDP written everywhere!
Why do Aventus extremist lovers keep on clicking that Zara IV is not similar to Aventus? The counter reaches 2 or 3 and then goes back again to 1 or 0. That already happened 3 times at least? Does the Aventus legion have olfactory fatigue?

  26. :

Why is box and front of bottle say edp and sticker on bottom is edt?.

  27. :

    5 out of 5

Well, if you don’t complain, things won’t get better… And who wouldn’t want even better performance at the same price point?
That said, the performance is good enough that I am considering getting it, even though I feel I have enough scents already.

  28. :

    4 out of 5

For 12.95€ you cant complain about, you can´t compare this too Aventus too.
But for 12.95€ you have about 85% similarites to Aventus, i smell Aventus a couple of times, and when i smell Zara Night IV remind me of Aventus.
Performence its decent , if you pay 12.95€ its a bargain.

Same fruity Aventus variation as the original Vibrant Leather but I am seemingly getting better longevity.
First wearing topped 6+ hours easily. First few projecting well. Its cold 40 degrees in Seattle so take that into account – tested this from the Zara store on my lunch break.
For those that want an Aventus vibe but don’t want the harshness of Armaf’s Club Nuit and something more crowd-pleasing / easier to wear. I don’t detect any Bamboo notes yet (maybe?) but often times these note breakdowns are completely wrong. Would be great if it had a fruity Mont Blanc StarWalker vibe.
    Promising. Will update.

This is Zara Vibrant leather Eau de Parfum version.
It is as good, if not better, than Zara EDT Vibrant leather. For €12.50 it’s a Christmas gift for everyone this season.
Zara just made some eBay traders very unhappy for sure because the Vibrant Leather business is gone.
My dog is included in the list of lucky ones that will receive this ZNPH IV. What a show… my dog will smell Aventus from now on. His dog cologne is more expensive.
EDIT 1 – I tried ZNPH IV in my right arm and and my 1 year old well kept VL in my left arm.
Definetly ZNPH IV has a better sillage and longevity than ZVL.The scent is really the same. I don’t detect any scent difference, but ZNPH IV smells more expensive and natural, it’s creamier and more agreable in general. The dry down is superb.
I must make a real test between ZNPH IV and Aventus plus the 5 Aventus clones I own.
Edit – I bought another ZNPH IV bottle today for € 10.00. It is extreamly easy to buy Zara IV on line in Europe.

As the previous reviewer has stated, Zara seem to have re-vamped this fragrance as ‘Night Pour Homme IV’ as of December 2017. Why do I say this ? .. Well lets look at the notes for each
    VL:
    Bergamot-Lemon/Bamboo/Leather/Patchouli
.. and now for the ‘new’ Night Pour Homme IV:
    Bergamot-Lemon/Leather/Bamboo/Patchouli ..
You do the maths! Do they smell the same .. you bet they do!
I will say however, that this seems to have a slightly poorer performance than VL.. that said, it being a ‘Eau De Parfum this time, it does seem to linger slightly longer as a skin scent. It just doesn’t seem to project quite as well as VL.
So now you can stop searching & bidding & paying £50+ for VL on a well known bidding site & trot along to your local Zara store & purchase this for £12.99 instead … Happy days! :o)
