Hello juniper. It smells exactly like my floral studio when I’m working with Christmas greens, complete with that oddly dank/dirty smell juniper gives off. There is also a pine that is a bit astringent. My skin seems to not like it very much because it tries to go soapy on me. It might be the aquatic note because it occasionally has that “super-fresh-air” smell every so often.
The naturalistic picture it paints is impressive. Sadly, juniper really isn’t one of my favorite scents. It’s not the cedar I was hoping for. I think that this particular fragrance isn’t for me, although I am interested in trying others by this designer.
It struck me that this begs for a touch of floral. On a whim I layered it with Elizabeth Taylor’s Violet eyes and either Violet is better than I remembered or the combination is really good.

I’m finding this very similar to Siskiyou. I would have to say Yuba River has a little less citrus, and is a bit earthier smelling (dirt, soil). Again, like Siskiyou, it smells naturally green, but I think Yuba River is less strong. Less than average projection and longevity. My rating 6.1
