Description
In 2013, in collaboration with perfumer Olivier Pescheux, Yohji Yamamoto launched six fragrances: five relaunched originals and one new fragrance.
The very philosophy and spirit of this iconic designer is captured in Yohji Yamamoto Homme. Inspired by worldly adventure, Yohji Yamamoto Homme is a vibrant and invigorating blend of bergamot, lemon and sage. Harmoniously infused with notes of leather, sandalwood and cedar, this crisp fragrance evokes a decidedly spirited and powerful masculinity.

Fresh/woody/citrusy warm weather daytime scent with limited performance, quite generic.

For me this fragrance is all about the drydown. The sandalwood feels extremely cosy, which I love.
It starts off quite citrus-y, quickly followed by the violet leaf. Soon after the leather takes over, and remains prominent for a couple of hours. During this stage, it stays very close to the skin to the point I could barely smell it anymore. Then the drydown begins and it is nothing short of delicous. By far my favorite stage.
Longevity: good! On cloth it stays on for days. I got a good working day out of it on skin.
Projection: poor to average. Especially in the heart it stays very close to the skin.

A japanese leather ??! That’s a first for me. Indeed that’s what I get, a typical “japanese” opening in the likes of Miyake or Kenzo with a citrus-y opening followed by more spicy sage, orris (I believe) and violet leaf, which is then taken over by a classic leather background flanked by a little woodyness.
Very interesting. Projection and longevity aren’t impressive, but it’s a nice and, I believe, quite safe scent. One of the more obscure fragrances of msr. Pescheux, but hard to dislike.

fresh, quite simple but in a good way
i find it very smart & sexy
more than suitable for daily wear at the office but to me it`s more like summmer pool/beach scent
longevity is average+ (4 to 6 hours on my skin)
my gf feels a lot of patchouli in it
oh yeah and the price is very pleasing

Really nice fragrance. It is pretty light, non offensive and at the same time has pretty unique aroma. Pleasant and safe. The price is funny but juice inside is of a high quality indeed. If you are looking for a safe everyday fragrance, but sick and tired of typical fresh scents and want some uniqness and originality, this one will make your day. Especially if you’re into leather scents. Longevity and projection are both at least above average, will last really long on cloth.
Recommended!

Very specific, woody, heavy and beautiful scent. Seems like unisex, but men will probably not wear it. Not my favorite but I would wear it in early autumn.

First of all I have to comment on the box which is presented very well. You have to undo the wrap around card arm sleeve to reveal the bottle incased inside. The bottle is sleek and simple with a good sprayer. The fragrance is very light, clean with a good citrus kick. It becomes more powdery with a slight herbal twist to it. This is perfect for day use and would be ideal for the office. It is a close to skin scent and does not shout out to everybody that you are wearing it. The longevity is quite short but a few people asked me what I was wearing long after I could no longer smell it on myself. So it’s one of those scents that waft around here and there. I like the fragrance but it is discreet and safe.
