(An excerpt from my overview of Anya’s Garden scents. Search Articles for the complete text.)
Ylang Tincture 2014 is beautiful and in its natural state is the most wearable soliflore form of this heady fragrance I have encountered. Anya’s Garden Ylang Tincture 2014 does a remarkable job of showcasing the complexity of this aroma without overpowering the wearer. There’s a brief indolic effect that lasts a few second after application (which I like—as with jasmine, I prefer the natural aroma with all skankiness intact), after which the fragrance settles into a pleasantly warm and sweet floral scent. If you enjoy the ylang-ylang facets of commercial releases like Amarige or Chanel No. 5, or if you just love a big white floral fragrance, Ylang Tincture 2014 is a must-try.
[This one goes on loud but quiets down quickly and lasts 2-3 hours on skin.]
Thank you to Anya’s Garden for the opportunity to try this beautiful scent.
