Description

Versace started its glamorous fragrance line inspired by crystals in 2004 with Crystal Noir perfume, and then launched the lighter and fruitier Bright Crystal in 2006. In 2011, a new fragrance of the collection emerges, “a crystal that turns into a diamond,” named Yellow Diamond.

Yellow Diamond is crafted as a pure, transparent and airy floral fragrance, sparkling and intense as the yellow color, while being luxurious and feminine like a diamond. Its composition opens with luminous freshness of lemon, bergamot, neroli and pear sorbet. The heart features airy orange blossom, freesia, mimosa and water lily. The base is made of amber, precious musk and guaiac wood.

The bottle is shaped like the previous editions of the collection, colored in yellow, while its box is decorated with baroque ornaments. The face of the campaign is an Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw, shot by Mario Testino in Paris.

Versace Yellow Diamond is available as 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette, with deodorant and body lotion.

This is a perfume I have grown to love. Its a very bright clean refreshing perfume which is outstanding in summer day or night. A lot of reviewers feel it’s a ‘meh’ fragrance. I can understand some people expecting ‘more’. But for me I accept it for what it is. Bright fresh and sunny.
I really love it and will be getting a big bottle when my cute 30ml is finished. Yellow Diamond is really strong and long lasting for me too which it what I need in a perfume. Yep Yellow Diamond is a gem for sure.

this smells like a lighter less sweet version of Aura. However it’s still very sweet anyway.

One of my top favorite fragrances! I have a strange body chemistry that can ruin the most beautiful of perfumes…This one though, smells incredible on me. At first, it’s sharp, but then dries down into a beautiful sparkly clean scent. Like super expensive shampoo or your beautiful, rich aunt that comes to visit on holidays. It’s very unoffensive and I just adore it.

A very boring fragrance. A copy of Daisy by MJ. I don’t get any citrus. It’s a honeyed yellow florals with no flair.

I sniffed this when it first came out and immediately wanted a bottle. Being a poor college student, I couldn’t afford it but eventually I got it as a gift. I was extremely disappointed when I sprayed it on because all I got was this strong floral, headache inducing scent. I wore it a few times and did get compliments from coworkers about how lovely I smelled but I just wasn’t feeling it. I was wearing this during cooler months at that time. Last summer I pulled it out and it was as if I had rediscovered that beautiful scent I initially fell in love with. Fresh/citrusy/floral. It performs AMAZINGLY in heat! I’m still working on the same bottle I got six years ago. Halfway through so far.
I smelled this on my aunt and thought she was wearing Daisy. I never got the comparison until then.
Personal note: after using it almost every day for a few weeks, I have decided not to repurchase. The fragrance is beautiful but not for me. Going to give my bottle to my mom because she likes it.

The only thing that I like water for is “Versace” – beautiful bottles. Buying the “Yellow Diamond”, I did not expect something genial. Genius is, rather, refers to the scents of Mugler, “Guerlain”, “Lancome” and a bit to “Dior”. But, nevertheless, I hoped that it would be something extraordinary. No, there is no eccentricity. A simple citrus fragrance that can be worn anywhere and anytime. For me it is a mono-aroma – citrus, as they are, without opening the notes, without a trace. I do not argue, the aroma is very pleasant – it is not striking, soft, soft. Universal – it fits everything from dress to house slippers. It’s very simple. But simplicity, you see, happens to be different. The green “Chance” from “Chanel” is also simple, but in its simplicity there is some kind of aristocracy that makes it unforgettable. In turn, the “Yellow Diamond” personality is stripped. But it does not make it bad, no, it makes it ordinary. Persistence is good. The bottle, of course, is a miracle – very beautiful, especially a lid made for a yellow crystal. I liked the scent – nice. But, when my 30 ml was over for the law of two years (I did not use them very much, not my scent) I know for certain that again I will not buy it.

When I sprayed it on a tester strip, it smelt almost identical to daisy. On the skin it sits a little different, and you can definitely tell it has citrus when you smell it up close and directly. But the lingering scent that everyone else smells is pretty close to daisy.

As others have mentioned, this smells exactly like some of the Marc Jacobs Daisy line. I smell Daisy Dream without the prominent blackberry note. Easy to wear, inoffensive, though a bit too soft. A solid “like” for me, but it’s missing the extra “it” that would make it a “love”.

  9. :

Yup. First thing I though of was Marc Jacobs Daisy but this doesn’t go all plasticy/glue like on my skin. It’s so easy to wear and light / unobtrusive

Bright and green. A soft powdery lemon filled with sunshine. This scent is for daytime. Bright with a soft silage trail filled with sweet sunshine.

I have a sample that I sprayed and I immediately thought “…is this Marc Jacob’s Daisy?”
Almost identical but weaker lasting power.

I wanted a light, citrusy perfume for the lazy summer days, when I’ve got nothing to do. I think I found it. It is a simple, not heavy or strong scent. For me, Light blue is too old, that’s not a fresh scent, but this one is the opposite. It is ageless and clean.

  13. :

Why no much love here for this beautiful scent? Its not exactly a unique perfume but it sure is easy to wear! Very fresh and crisp. A daily summer perfume. ❤

  14. :

    4 out of 5

I’m not a fan of summer scents.. give me a fat bottle of Black Orchid any day over any type of summer perfume.. with a couple of exceptions.. one.. light blue by D&G and the other.. Yellow Diamond by Versace. I can spray this in intense heat and it won’t sicken me or be cloying in any way. It’s absoltely beautiful and name suits it perfectly.. if a yellow diamond had a scent.. this would be it. Light, fresh, juicy and with a tiny bit of sweetness to it. Sparkly.. moreish. Every single time I’m wearing this perfume I receive so many compliments.. yet the reviews aren’t so great. Each to their own but I adore it.

I don`t know about this. I kind of like it. Its fresh, light.
Under the floral there`s a kind of universal glue scent.
It does`t last long. Maybe its a good thing in this case.
Is it just me or when the bottle is more beautiful less quality is inside.

This perfume is stunning! A light citrus, floral, green smell. Perfect for spring, and summer. It has great longevity as well. It’s one of my go-to fragrances when I want to wear something that isn’t too over powering.

I do like this perfume, but not as much as the other diamonds. It is pretty, but I do not get a lot of citrus out of it, initially. I love citrus. All of them. Bergamot is becoming my favorite and it is just missing completely. The bitter orange might have been there a little, but that is it and it is gone immediately. I find it quite floral. It settles down after about ten minutes and citrus makes a very brief appearance before running away again. Overall, the fragrance sticks around a very long time. If I put it on in the afternoon it will still be there in the morning very close to the skin. It may be better in a different season so I will put it up until it gets warmer and see how we go, but for now I maintain that Bright Crystal Absolu is better.

It’s pretty. It’s soft/ medium strength and smells like soft lemon and flowers. It’s mixed reviews at our house. One of my daughters and I like it. My husband and other daughter do not.

Most of all I feel in this fragrance pear, lemon and mimosa. When mimosa is noticeable, I like this fragrance. It’s nice.

  22. :

    4 out of 5

I never believed that mimosa perfume I’d love so much. It is much different than anything I have, and I have a terrific collection of perfumes. It’s fresh and at the same time classy. I do not like fruit flavors, this is a wonderful exception. Suitable for warm days, everyday aroma that is noticeable.

Ok so I need to say a few things… This is pretty, it doesn’t last and its actually very weak. Now here’s my issue. This is $70 Australian dollars for a 90ml bottle. I could buy a playboy fragrance for $10 for 90ml also. Now granted some of you might think well that’s just a bad quality cheap perfume, well they are all created by well known noses so I looked into it. I just smelled some of the playboy ones and they are actually really pretty. Some are a little sweet and teenage like but there are good ones too eg.. VIP… Very nice. Now I could buy 7 bottles of that and spray away constantly and still get way better cost value than paying$70 for one bottle of the yellow diamond. I’m sorry but I just can’t justify paying for a brand name when the value just isn’t there. I’ve really had an awakening on my designer brands versus celebrity or cheaper fragrances as my perfume obsession has become full force… I’ve got an incredible variety of $200 perfume and $10 perfume and cost has had nothing to do with smell or quality. It’s about finding a smell that appeals to you and gives you satisfactory performance.

Versace Yellow Diamond is a pretty light yellow floral fragrance. Its initially more fruity but becomes floral with time. It’s good for office as it’s soft and inoffensive and doesn’t have heavy projection. It’s in the same class of fragrances as Marc Jacobs Daisy. The lasting power of this perfume is pathetic and I have to apply several times in a few hours. It’s a very watered down fragrance in my opinion. Yellow Diamond Intense, though similar, is not a same stronger EDP version of this one. That one smells a bit different and of course stronger.

  25. :

    4 out of 5

Summery lemon. This is the main note. Mimosa compliments it well! Lime gives this combination a slightly bitter edge while soft pear shows up after it dries down. The florals create a nice middle while wood and musk notes go for a light base. The result is very uplifting!

(review from a man, tested on my girlfriend)
There is something similar with the Versace Brgiht Crystal. This one, is also has a very very weak top notes, in the first few minutes I can smell nothing… Most of the perfumes, blowing your face after few sprays but in here happens nothing.. A little bit of bergamot and lemon, but I need hardly concentration to recognise this notes…The mid notes are pure flowers, the mostly dominant is the pleasent mimosa. After the top note the whole scent become a little bit soapy. Not a unique stuff, not bad, average. Better then Versave Bright Crystal.
    – Sping/summer, daytime scent
    – Sillage and longevity are slightly better than average, longevity is aroun 5-6 hours
    – Safe blind buy
    Scent (open, top-mid): 6/10 (x2)
    Scent (drydown, base): 7/10 (x2)
    Sillage: 6/10
    Longevity: 5.5/10
    Uniqueness: 6/10
    Versatility: 7/10

Lovely fruity floral with an aquatic twist! Just like bright crystal, there is something vaguely aquatic in this scent. A soft yet sour lemon with a sweet hint of mimosa! Very refreshing and sparkling!

I used to not to want to associate with this fragrance because for the longest time woody/smoky/amber oriental fragrances were more my style. And still are. But the past few months I’ve been trying this on when I go to the fragrance section of a store and it is nice.
Not “knock your socks off and get you a raise” kind of dynamic fragrance but it’s good. Sparkly, floral and soft sweet. Maybe limoncello sweet. It’s just enough citrus that I can enjoy and not sneeze my brains out.
Each time I wear it, I ALWAYS get compliments, from the SA or my best friend or my brother. Even my aunt who I’ve been caring for lately went “oh! Perfume! You smell lovely!” Which means the sillage is good on me, maybe arms length to 5 feet.
This might not be the most unique fragrance but it’s certainly cheerful and fresh.
Normally I don’t base what perfume I want on what others think of it but this time it has helped and I like it enough myself I think I will get this bottle when I get a chance. I could used some cheering up and this would do it.
It’s ok to enjoy the simpler fragrances sometimes.

Although the note pyramids differ by a country mile, Yellow Diamond took me back to year 2003, circa Estee Lauder Dazzling Gold. A scintillating, happy fragrance with all-around crowd-pleasing pull.

I was so happy to receive a 5-piece Versace mini perfume set as a gift. Yellow Diamond was included in the set. This fragrance reminds me a little bit of Marc Jacobs Daisy when I smell it straight from the bottle, but on my skin, not as much. It has a light citrus opening and then sweet mimosa and fresh freesia. It’s a nice everyday type of fragrance that I like more and more every time I wear it.

Smells a lot like Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline, without the bamboo notes. This also has more citrus notes in it. I like both perfumes.

  34. :

Just okay very strong citrus but nothing in particular to notice. Just sourness, strong floral and sweet. Strangely blended.

I thought it might be a good idea to report here what Yellow Diamond smells like on someone else. My co- worker got this and wore it to work a few times. She was worried that it didn’t last and thought it wasn’t projecting.
But it was projecting like a gorgeous beast! Each time she walked by she left a sparkly trail. If that trail could have been seen in a spectrum visible to humans it would have been golden!
    This lasted all day.
It smelled magical, like sparkly fairy dust left by the Grassy Meadow of Wildflowers Fairy.
I looked forward to being around her so I could catch a whiff- haha! I thought, with my novice nose, that I was smelling the notes of cedar, lemon, freesia, jasmine, apple, and maybe some musk. Turns out I got a few of those right! My nose was off about the pear though.
Anyway, I made a note to self to get a sample of this because it was so beautiful in a crisp, sparkling, pleasant way. It’s really nice to be around someone who is wearing this so I, too, want to leave a trail of invisible fairy dust in my wake. I will see if it’s just as lovely up close.

I tried this from a sample and man, they nailed it when they named it yellow, because the mimosa and lemon are the stars. The lemon is a sweet, juicy lemon and the mimosa is a fragrant partner. There is some pear, and for some reason the lotus woke up around the two hour mark and then went back to sleep. The lemon gets increasingly sugary as the day wears on, and it is hastened by warm weather, but the mimosa wasn’t overpowered by it.
This has been called inoffensive, and that’s true, there isn’t anything particularly unique about it, but the way the different notes all played musical chairs through the day kept me thoroughly entertained. Lasted through an entire workday, although it hit the skin-scent mark around 3 p.m. and got about ten feet out at the strongest, I’d guess.
I’ll leave this as a sample I tried once, as it did get quite strong and the notes aren’t really my style, but it was fun for a day.

I’m happy enough with this. Blind buy a few months ago at a discount store, so I didn’t have many expectations. I’ve been trying to expand my perfume experiences … so buying really well known things like Juicy Couture and this, etc, when the price is right, is all a part of that.
I can’t describe this (or anything) in notes, really, because I just rarely pick them up. Vaguely speaking, it’s citrus, but on the sweeter end of that. It’s rather strong, but uplifting, and my fiance exclaimed “fruits!” the first time I wore it (for what that’s worth). I find this fragrance very pleasing, but also wouldn’t describe it as unique…not that it smells like anything else I already own, but it does smell very similar to Versace Eros pour femme (…which I have a sample of. I find them similar).
Given how strong I think it smells, and even though I like it, I wouldn’t recommend it as a blind buy unless you already like other Versace scents.

Sharper more headache inducing version of pink one…i thought it couldn’t get any worse

  39. :

Versace Yellow Diamond is a classic to me, but is particular in that for all its beauty I can see why a few may not understand it. It reminds me truly of fresh sunflowers and daisies with a pure sparkling rain bringing out their fragrant essences in full, but then it reminds me of a yellow peacock (if there is such a thing) as it dries down…. It is warm undertoned, hard to describe, so many things I get from this; even a canary diamond ring embodied in a scent! If you are feeling down this is like a ray of sunshine. (All of that, I experience in this!) It is beautiful and lasts for hours! A sparkling ray of warm sunshine, is even earthy and grassy if that even makes sense! I would classify it as sweet but Very rich and succulent. Unforgettable to my nose.
    God bless!

I received a deluxe sample of this in an adorable mini bottle which I am very happy to display on my shelf. The fragrance, however, is mediocre. Just another citrus-y sweet floral with nothing unique to offer. I will wear it around the house or to bed but I’ll not be purchasing a full-size. Probably a safe buy if you want to give a high school or college girl a perfume as a gift.

  42. :

Received a sample today and find that I do like it. I was a little surprised as I don’t care for Crystal Noir or Bright Crystal at all. This is a creamy yellow floral with a little tuberose and a squeeze of citrus. Nice for summer…rather glamorous. It. reminds me a little of J’Adore…but not quite as nice. Good for a cheaper alternative though….

  43. :

According to the tester I got: this is a fragance of the olfactive family floral, fruity and woody.
The head notes are(and I quote): citron from diamante (only God knows what is this), pear sorbet, neroli and bergamot.
Heart notes are: Nymphea, freesia, orange blossom and mimosa.
Dry out notes are: amber wood, palo santo and musk.
To me smells quite citrusy at first and the mimosa is very strong. I usually like this kind of scents but this one for some reason feels very heavy on me and causes me headaches.

SPARKELING yellow flowers, GLITTERING sunshine in a bottle. Very fresh, a tiny bit citrusy. Uber GLAM, uber FEMININE, EXOTIC!!! One commenter said this draws men like bees to a flower and I totally agree. Expensive and SEXY. Bottle is stunning. Reminds me of warm sensual summer nights. Great for fun night out or a fun date. You will smell good enough to eat xoxo

Yellow Diamond is really fresh and beautiful. I get a sweet smelling lemon on top followed by pear, freesia, water lily, and a lot of mimosa. I smell a touch of musk and wood in the dry down. What I like about this is that it’s a fruity floral, but it’s not too sweet or cloying. Yellow Diamond is very sunny. It’s perfect for rainy days or gray winters. Longevity is moderate. The bottle makes me smile.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

I like Yellow Diamond, I really do. Unfortunately, I have a bit of a bone to pick with it.
Why is it that a lot of different scents from other high end designers including Versace have a note in it that smells like chemically synthetic benzoin? Prada candy, Marc Jacobs decadence and daisy, Juicy couture’s viva la juicy… and so on and so forth.
It’s almost like this synthetic benzoin note is a sort of marker for the decade in which the fragrance was made! Don’t get me wrong, I really do like this fragrance because it’s fresh and fruity. But I’m just not impressed with the predictability with designer perfumes.

Glad this was a mini perfume
as a gift from an order
    this is just weird
Mimosa and lemon and pearl ?
what versace want to bring to us ?
    Powdery ?
    floral ?
    fresh?
    Fruity ?
    aha it has everything
and that makes the perfume so horrible

  49. :

Lots of mimosa. It’s a sweet green fragrance.
At times it feels citrusy and airy while at others it feels too sweet and powdery.
The freesia is noticeable and the citrus are vaguely perceptible.
Definitely not on the most original perfumes list, but not a disaster either. In fact, if you are attracted to yellow flowers, then you should give this fragrance a try.

  50. :

Fresh yellow floral composition opens the fragrance a bit sharply to soon transform into one of the most velvety and soothing floral scents I’ve smelled. Dry down is fresh and citrusy. Good choice for summer months. It’s not one of my favorites, but I like it more than Bright Crystal.

  51. :

nice fresh citrusy fragrance for daily use in a nice decorative bottle.. bought 200ml at bargain price of £49

  52. :

    4 out of 5

I tend to get along with Versace scents. However VYD wasnt one of them. The opening citrus blast of lemon soap/cleaner was just too much to stand and it made my throat tighten. A scrubber. Not for me.

  53. :

    3 out of 5

First, Yellow Diamond and Yellow Diamond Intense are two very different fragrances with different notes.
Second, YD Intense is not actually longer lasting. Having never tested either, I sprayed one on each wrist, and they lasted equally as long. I think some users were probably used to YD, then YD Intense came out and they fell under the illusion that it was longer lasting because the notes were new to their nose.
So, after testing both, I went with Yellow Diamond. It’s slightly sharper, more citrusy, more summery, and more distinct. Wearing it is like drinking lemonade in a botanical garden on a summer afternoon. It’s fresh and sparkling, but it also has a certain elegance and I think it would be good for both daytime and evening wear.
EDIT: I’ve owned this for three weeks now and I am more in love with it than ever. It feels like a yellow version of Ralph Lauren’s Romance. It’s fresh, clean, delicately floral, and very lemony. I’d never been a huge fan of lemon notes, but in this it’s divine. I thought this would be a fragrance I would only wear occasionally, but I just keep reaching for it and it’s now one of my faves. It’s a bottle of sunshine 🙂

  54. :

    4 out of 5

There isn’t alot of description needed for Yellow Diamond. Strong citrusy opening followed by a burst of yellow florals (mimosa). The freesia contributes a flowery nectar note. I can make out a very soft musk in the background. This is a safe, inoffensive scent with pleasant sillage and moderate longevity. Nothing special, but not generic.
    Bright Crystal vs. Yellow Diamond:
Like Bright Crystal, the Yellow Diamond fragrance is pretty one dimensional. The scent doesn’t transition much after application. They are both sweet in their own way. Bright Crystal is slightly sweeter and has a floral sweetness, while Yellow Diamond draws upon citrus fruit for sweetness. Both are also targeted toward a broad age group. However I think Yellow Diamond has a few notes that typically appear in more mature fragrances. Bright Crystal, in its pretty pink bottle, makes me think of a bubbly carefree lady. Yellow Diamond makes me think of a bright sunny day in Florida. They are equally matched. The choice is left up to the wearer, their preferences, and the occasion.
I tried layering them and they smell great together. But I prefer Yellow Diamond over Bright Crystal. Either would be an affordable option for someone looking for a quality fragrance. I also recommend Vanitas EDP as a floral alternative and Versense is an amazing citrus perfume.

A gorgeous perfume. Very lovely bright, sparkling, effervescent, happy and gay. Beautiful florals and citruses. Perfect blend. One of my favourites. Very uplifting, and lasts well (about 6 hours) for an edt. Good sillage too.
Beautiful bottle – shape; and lovely to hold, and the colour is very feminine; young and fresh! A real gem……

Received a full 3 oz bottle of this juice as a swap filler. I do like it. It’s light, clean, refreshingly sweet lemon with bright mimosa. It’s rather like lemonade as opposed to a tart, bitter lemon. The mimosa kicks it up a notch on the “happy” scent scale. I really don’t detect pear or any of the floral notes at all. I actually love to use this as my go to in the sticky summer heat. I come in from a jog or running errands and a spritz or two of this is the perfect “pick-me-up.”
That being said, it doesn’t last more than hour. It was a great swap gift but I’d NEVER have paid full price for it in a department store. But if you can score a bottle for under $25, grab it!

  57. :

I usually like citrusy scents but this one is not right. It seems to have a sour/stale after scent (maybe the guaiac wood?). Tried to like it but just couldn’t.

  58. :

Found it once at the airport and was captured by that glamorous bottle. It’s intensive and floral but too heavy to wear it all day. So do not use to much otherwise it’s causing headache for sure. Yellow Diamond is fresh but pompous due to the Mimosa and Freesia and I often get complimented whilst wearing. If you are looking for a special and conspicuous flowery fragrance, this is for you.

  59. :

    4 out of 5

Very lovely floral scent! Absolutely fresh and sparkling, just like a yellow diamond! Glittery, but smooth and refreshingly fruity too. Lovely fresh juicy citrus, and the sweetness of the lovely mimosa adds a beautiful playful aspect. I feel like dancing gaily through a field of stunning wild-flowers, on a breathtakingly alive spring day – the gentle warmth of the sunshine, and the mellow breeze – so free and happy!

  60. :

It’s a quite luxurious floral scent, though it’s too artificial to be loved, so it’s a like only. It somehow resembles Avon Little White Dress or Today Tomorrow Always Together.

  61. :

I do not usually like florals so was quite surprised when I really liked this from the first sniff onward.
A warm, citrus, almost juicy scent which lasts really well on my skin (borders on fruity oriental at times), and yes, as others have said it smells quite ‘luxurious’. The dry down is very nice for me, probably the musk which I do like. My sample will soon be replaced with a bottle.

This is a new love for me, i adore it, which surprises me as i tried it in winter and hated it! Now the weather has warmed up i really do get the whole meaning around winter/summer scents. This is summer in a bottle!
It’s so dreamy… it has that gorgeous lemon blast at the beginning, then settles into an almost gourmand scent, like a warm lemon tart mixed with a floral undertone. I can barely smell the pear, which i’m a little disappointed in, but the rest makes up for it.
The longevity is great on me, and the sillage is heavier than i expected judging by reviews, it’s quite potent on me. I can’t wait to start wearing this little gem more as the weather gets even hotter, it’s perfect for the daytime out in the sun!

The bottle is beautiful but I feel like I have smelled this many times before and just like before I don’t care for it. I’m thinking like a J’Adore or a Daisy. Either way made my head hurt.

This was a blindbuy because it was on sale at my drugstore for a very affordable price.
I wore it on the first sunny day of spring and it was very nice. It’s not the most original perfume ever but it’s neither generic. Just a very nice, bright, sparkling and uplifting yellow floral. Like rays of sun in a bottle. As some have mentioned; it does smell kind of luxurious. I really like it and will be happy to use it this spring/ summer. This is one I can wear on the job as well, it’s very inoffensive.
    A successful blindbuy!

    Edit…found a new home 🙂
    AUSTRALIA .. TO GIVE AWAY
I have a 90ml bottle that I will send to anyone in OZ that wants it.
Sprayed twice. In box. Stored in dark.
Blind buy that I absolutely hate! It’s making me angry just knowing its sitting there. I would rather have the satisfaction of knowing its been gifted to someone that truly loves it.
Maybe you have a bottle of something that is making you similarly angry that you could send me..but I don’t mind either way 🙂
Inbox me if you would like it 🙂

At first this reminds me of lemon dishwashing soap but in the best way possible. It smells much more luxurious then dish washing soap when it settles down. The lemon is strong in this but i LOVE it. I also smell the florals as well….i just think this an all around good fragrance that you can where any time, any place. Its a gorgeous citrus floral and the bottle is beautiful as well.

Yellow Diamond would have to be one of my best blind buys! I bought it not long after its release, partly based on reviews, and partly based on the very pretty yellow bottle! Speaking of which – It really is a pretty bottle! The cap is heavy and very “yellow diamondesque”. As far as the scent goes, to me, it would have the be one of the best named scents. It really does smell opulent and classy – a “yellow”, happy smell, while at the same time having an air of wealth.
To me, the scent is all about the pear and freesia. And yes, while not too prominent, there is amber in the base to carry the more floral overtones.
My skin is very dry and I don’t usually carry scents long, and many don’t have much of a silage on me. But this one! One of the few I get compliments from other people (they can actually smell me!!!!). Lasting power is around 3-4 hours on me, before becoming a very faint skin scent for another hour or so.
While not in my top 5, I do love Yellow diamond – it lifts my mood and spreads a bit of happiness where it goes.

I love, I mean, I really L.O.V.E this perfume today. It’s meant to be a spring-summer scent, and yet, in a foggy February afternoon it turns out to be gorgeous. It made my day.

It’s all that the description said. It’s sparkling, fresh, airy floral scent. Out of many, many fresh-florals out there, this is THE one for me. Even though this might be something some people think needs heels and a dress, I wear it everywhere and it seems to work well. I love this one. Longevity and sillage is moderate to longlasting, which is good. Even after an 8 hours shift I still get whiffs of this and that doesn’t happen often with my other scents. It puts a smile on my face. Good job, Versace!

I like Yellow Diamond. I believe it’s one of the best fresh feminine scents. I just can’t bring myself to pay the full-price because, well it’s a daytime scent and not much of a unique concept where rather cheaper alternatives don’t exist. However I am always on the look out for a bargain and preferably for a lovely 30 ml bottle. The very same thing goes for Versense…

The top notes of citron, pear, bergamot, and neroli are beautiful together. Then it turns into a putrid mess!!! The waterlily note is nauseating and I love waterlily. The worst part was the palo santo wood note, it was too sharp with a jammy musty aroma that wouldn’t wash off no matter how hard I scrubbed. At least the bottle is pretty.

Absolutely fresh without being overtly citrusy. After alcohol phase, there are rising neroli and bergamot with a slight freesia touch. And after a few minutes appears very very soft sweetness of pear. Really good for spring (and maybe for summer in cool climated countries). Highly recommended…

I really like this perfume beacuse it brings back positive memories but the scent itself is not very special to me.
I think it’s a bit Warm because of the amber. If there were something in it that made it more fresh, I’d like it more. Now it’s a little bit messy, it’s like a sweet perfume aiming to be fresh or vice versa.
Sorry for being overly critical, just my current opinion.. I still think it’s a lovely perfume

I purchased a small size of this perfume and of Bright Crystal in hopes of finding something similar and possibly more sophisticated than my signature scent, Daisy by Marc Jacobs. Yellow Diamond is a close as I have come to finding the more sophisticated version of Daisy that I have found. I personally will always gravitate to Daisy, but this scent is so beautiful. Its light and fresh due to its citrus notes, floral, and the right balance of sweet. I personally prefer this over Bright Crystal because it is not as sweet. I would highly recommend this perfume if yo
