Description

At perfume exhibition in Milan – Esxence 2015, Xerjoff presented for the first time his collection of three perfumes dedicated to 150th anniversary of unification of Italy and is inspired by wealth, beauty and heritage that this country possesses. The collection of XJ 1861 encompasses three fragrances XJ 1861 Renaissance, XJ 1861 Zefiro and XJ 1861 Naxos each of which provides a part of beautiful Italy: Renaissance celebrates this period in Italy, Naxos Sicily, while Zefiro celebrates eternal Rome!

XJ 1861 Naxos celebrates Sicily and its beauty, and accentuates its Mediterranean character with the composition. Citruses in top notes pose contrast to precious spices suggesting wealth of a unified country, its conquests and dominance. Composition of Naxos opens with classic, airy and fruity citrus notes of bergamot and lemon surrounded with gentle and calming lavender shades. The heart blends sambac jasmine with cinnamon, cashmeran and honey, whose romantic trail is enriched with masculine accords of tobacco and tonka from the base. Vanilla creates a soft and sensual veil by touching flowers, fruit and tobacco leaves.

I have no idea why people say Naxos smell like Pure Havana. It’s like a bad cheap replica. naxos smells amazing, posh and expensive. On me smells more orangy and with some wood accords. The smell lasts forever. At first smells very strong and spicey, more masculine but with time smell becomes nice and soft.

I notice the quality with this one, it is well blended and has a certain dryness to it. the opening to me is quite heavy on the lavender. I own Pure Havane and was expecting it to smell somewhat similar to that but to me it is different, it is still very nice though. I really appreciate the quality and smoothness with Naxos and it smells expensive.

There is no resemblance between Xerjoff’s Naxos and Parfums de Marly’s Layton. Take it from somebody who actually owns full bottles of both. Naxos is certainly on the strong end of the performance spectrum. I’m not trying to be rude, but that is unfortunately a rather misleading comparison.

    Price is absolutely justified.
Was browsing the Xerjoff section of the shop. My intent was buying something else and the Naxos was just an amazing surprise. I ended up buying 2 Xerjoff’s in the end, but this is my 4th consecutive day when I use Naxos. I also own More Than Words, Fiero, Alexandria II.
It’s all about the blend. It screams exquisite all over the place. The opening is very harsh but once it settles down everything is in balance. Personally, everytime I wear it changes my mood. Also used it before going to sleep. I know this is a very personal opinion, but among everything I tested and have in my collection, this my drug now.
I get a projection of up to 4 hours with a heavy sillage for the first hour, which fades out to moderate afterward. Spraying 4-5 puffs. And it’s completely gone after 5 hours. I would recommend a blind buy if you have the cash.

Lovely accent. Smells like a higher quality version of Pure Havane. Longevity is through the roof and projection is excellent. You have to really control the sprays on this one.
I suspect that this is why some of you are complaining about its “harshness”. 2-3 sprays max is all you need.

Definitely not what i was expecting. The opening is so heavy on the lavender that it reminds me of Hermessence Brin de Reglisse. This fragrance smells like a mix between Brin de Reglisse and Parfums de Marly Oajan. Weird.

Extremely hard. I asked my perfumer to send me any of the random best long lasting scent and he sent me this. Top notes are extremely heavy. I feel woody with tobacco with some weird chemical feeling. Never got any compliments with it.Rather i got people questioning me with grimace. Thats hard, it does hurt for first one or two hours. Then it becomes little smooth and then little ok to sniff

    Wow.
Tried a couple of honey frags before (Back to Black, chergui, Tabac Rouge by Pahedon, some Boadicea the victoriou) and never thought it’ll be for me.
This, wow. Longevity is off the scale. Silage is great. Works pretty well in summer too.
Mugler Havanne is somewhat similar, but it’s like comparing a hammer to a piece of jewelry. Mugler is not subtle, Naxos is exquisite.

On my skin this comes across as a sweet frat boy frag (think One Million, Eros, etc). Nothing special…

  10. :

A very, very nice scent and above average longevity & projection.
Quite smooth and the natural ingredients are evident.
    And…that’s it.
No, really, that is the impression I got.
    $300+ for this?
    GTFO
Don’t be stupid and get Pure Havane instead.

The smell of a hamster cage… seriously. Not cedar specifically. Sweet, gross, hamster cage/pet store smell. Hard pass.

    ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!
Sample arrived a few days ago, been desperate to find another Tobacco scent to compliment PDM Herod and Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac and NAILED IT!
Herod (smooth heavy and powerful) and FDT (dry, spicy and natural) are amazing but unalike. Everything I tried was boring, lazy or barely a tobacco scent including Kilian Light My Fire and Back to Black which were the worst purchases and value I have ever made.
This concerned me as reviews indicated the honey was prominent (Back to Black to me was just a sweet honey with poor projection and longevity). I’m not a fan of honey however…
it turns out there is a lovely honey presence that sweetens it. The tobacco whilst stronger than most is no where as prominent in my faves but it turns out to be just enough.
I tried it everyday this week as I was unsure I liked it but my brain and logic could not deny it was a) Probably the strongest perfume I’ve had in longevity and in projection b) Whilst not an overly prominent tobacco scent but it had a strange allure c) I don’t like honey or overly sweet scents but it was still unique compared to any scent I could think of.
Today – it won me over and a full bottle purchase is lined up!
My reasoning is clear now. I was worried it was a lot of money for something that vaguely reminded me of Herod (I would explain it as similar if you took out the cinnamon and replaced it with apricot with the tobacco dimmed down but still with the vanilla).
I get the citrus top notes and vanilla with a not overpowering tobacco base that isn’t dry and spicy but warm and earthy, just enough to add character. The honey feels bit boozy sometimes especially at first.
In all it reminds me when all mixed in and as a whiff (which lasts all day and extremely linear even after showering) as a mellow dried apricot honeyed with tobacco – in fact much brighter than Herod but just as smooth and masterfully blended. It is in fact a compliment – maybe more for summer and winter where as Herod is for cool days.
Time to make room on my shelf for possibly the most unlike me purchase!

Scent – bright herbal sweet tobacco.
Season/Time of Day – I prefer to use this one in the colder months, day or night.
    Projection – I didn’t get noticed, I didn’t get a compliment.
    Longevity – I get 8hrs consistently.

This one grew on me, as I wasn’t overly keen at all upon first spray. The honey and tobacco combo is very smooth. Performance wise there can be no complaints, it lasts almost forever and projects heavily too. That said however, for me it didn’t live up to the hype. It’s nice, but not a ‘must have’.

  15. :

Have both old and new, performance is about equal, which is really strong, superb longevity.

Xerjoff 1861 Naxos is some serious nectar of the gods.
    Herculean performance: (Batch 4718N – Luckyscent – Spring 2018)
Naxos to my nose is: Smooth Honey-Vanilla-Spice-Creamy Citrus-Cool Mellow Tobacco
Late-stage Naxos is like a mellow honey spiced tobacco version of the Aventus drydown. The vanilla/bergamot/cashmeran in the Naxos dry-down reminds me of the sublime vanilla/bergamot/musk aspect of Aventus. It performs like a heavy hitter from Nasomatto but at a much better price per mL by far.
Xerjoff’s presentation (new bottle) is actually the BEST in my collection now that I think about it. It will literally make you smile each time you break it out to wear. The bottle itself is like a frosted ornate gemstone with all of Xerjoff’s signature golden Italian design. It’s nested safely in a modern Xerjoff stitched-leather coffret…with more gold lettering! XD
For all of the above reasons, I can’t deny this as a masterpiece to me

Do you want to see (smell) Naxos become an out of this world heavens sent olfactory plaisir? Spray some of this goodness and then go outside on a 35°F or below. It’s the epitome of what a good fragrance should be. No details about notes or comparisons. No need, perfection is perfection.

This has moved in to my top 6 of 20 that I own! Along with and in no special order…
FM – Portrait of a Lady
    Xerjoff – 1861 Naxos
    PDM – Herod
    Diptyque – Oud Palao
    FM – Musc Raveguer
    Widian – London
I actually have another bottle of Naxos on backorder too through Luckyscent that Ishould hopefully be receiving this month (March). No it does not smell like Pure Havane to me either! I’m starting to think people keep comparing PH to everything because of the price! Lol! It’s affordable for a reason.

  19. :

    4 out of 5

Still amazing! Compliments run wild when I wear this. I have the old bottle and the new one…the only real difference is the bottle. Don’t listen to what everyone else’s nose is telling you. Try it for yourself and make your own decision. I’ve seen lot of reviewers say that some of these higher priced fragrances smell exactly like some cheaper fragrances with the same or similar ingredients. Lol! Rarely the case. It’s usually what is in or out of someone’s budget which in turn can alter some negative reviews and feedback on some of these beautifully well balanced fragrances. This one is a def winner in my book. LOVE IT! As a man I actually have woman give me feedback on everything I try. Consensus prevails!

Citrus and levander plays the main role and then a tobacco comes out but wheres the honey note i dont get it.also i dont get any vanilla here. Bergamot and lemon mixed with spices

Managed to get an old bottle of this brand new from notino. Side by side tested with the new formula no difference to my nose although my other half thinks the old formula is stronger. The only xerjoff for me I love this especially The old bottle it’s stunning

  22. :

    5 out of 5

So far, the more appealing of all the Xerjoff’s I have sampled – Nio, 1861 Renaissance, Kobe, Gao…
But ultimately all of them are underwhelming/boring.
I don’t see what the fuss is about with Xerjoff.
This one’s most outstanding feature is it’s longevity but… the scent is nothing special really, warm and honey and creamy.. reminds me of Amouage Reflection man at the opening, that weird kind of Root-Beer-esque flavour…
Meh – no Xerjoffs for my collection yet.

  23. :

Very well blended, amazing quality and performance: too sweet for my taste but definitely a good one. For the lovers of tobacco – honey scent.

Naxos is very difficult to find now, and the squarish bottles is phased out.

  25. :

    5 out of 5

Go for it without any doubts, it is absolutely amazing and long lasting. Of course if you can find the older bottle get it, yet no fears with the new bottles. Biggest downside, I really liked the old bottle style more.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

Could someone please confirm whether the new bottle is now reformulated or it is the same juice just in a new presentation? Basically are there really any differences between the old and new versions?

So guys i would like to ask if anyone have noticed any difference in performance between the old and new bottle design ?
I have the old bottle and I am running low and planning to get a new one and can’t decide between the two

I sampled this one yesterday and tbh my first whiff was like: ok, I’m going to smell my wrist the whole time, this stuff is amazing. I sprayed like at midnight twelve o’clock. And now it’s 12 27 and I’m still smelling it. Such great sillage.
UPDATE: I can’t stop smellin’ myself, it’s so delicious.

First time waeringa and I’m in love with this one. Like pure Havana, which I also like, but better.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve read people’s comparisons of many scents to Pure Havane, and they’ve been waaay off the mark – most of the compared fragrances were closer to the cloying territory (imo) of Tobacco Vanille, and I never did find one with that has that juicy cherry tobacco top that PH has…until I tried Naxos
Naturally, after trying many other supposedly similar fragrances, I was skeptical when I read reviews saying this one was better and dismissed some of the praise as hyperbole..until I received a sample recently..and man it is everything the glowing reviews were saying it was. It is close to Pure Havane, but a more refined version and it has that beautiful top note but does it even better, and maybe even more importantly the middle and base notes are richer and more complex. I love Pure Havane but once that top is gone there isn’t much to it..this however holds my interest for the duration.
I can understand why some people don’t think it’s worth the difference in price..they are indeed very close, but if you enjoy PH as much as I do, you might appreciate and notice the subtle differences that much more that push it beyond and elevate it to something more

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Sweet and cozy. Tobacco and honey yes. But very complex at the same time. Comparisons to Pure Havane are accurate but PH is in A ball and Naxos is a MLB superstar. Probably my favorite Xerjoff and surprisingly one of the cheaper scents from the house. 10/10.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

My skin isn’t loving this one. It is at once a beautiful heady honey, tobacco, a touch of patchouli and tonka bean and stick to the back of your throat soap. I’ve heard that casmerian is difficult for some to wear and I think I must be one of those people. It’s a pity. I can tell it’s a lovely fragrance, but I don’t like feeling like I just got my mouth washed out with soap.
After the soap settles (45min) I can really see the comparison to a mugler fragrance. It is a tobacco vanilla infused with a sweet mugler-style patchouli.
Two hours in and the tobacco is now the star floating over the honeyed vanilla. This might be worth eating soap for.
Upon second testing I knew better than to huff it a bunch in the first few minutes and just let it settle into creaminess. The slight soapiness isn’t detracting at all.

It goes in the direction of Feve Delicieuse, Herod, Oajan or Back to Black. Honey x Tobacco but with a fresher opening than the ones I’ve mentioned. It’s more sweet than Herod but less than the other 3.
The citruses make it more wearable and less overbearing than the other 4 I’ve mentioned in my opinion. Leans slightly feminine, but still wearable by men. The notes also seem to be more tamed and balanced a lot better than the others.
If you love Oajan, Herod, Feve Delicieuse or Back to Black but were always too scared to wear these because you might overspray or annoy the others around you then this one is the one for you. If you like the exaggeratedness of the 4 I’ve mentioned then you’ll probably won’t think that this one is too special.
Easy love for me (like the other 4) and I really appreciate the wearableness of this one. Just because of that reason I subconsciously reach out more for this one than the others.

  36. :

    4 out of 5

Naxos is undoubtedly one of the better tobacco scents I have smelled. Perfectly balanced, totally marketable, crowd pleasing. Perhaps it’s this very thing that compels me to shy away from this, feeling a little like a designer scent. I’m not a perfume snob by any means as I have some designer beauties in my wardrobe. But for the price, I expect something a little, well, unexpected.
Back to Black without the powder, Sweet Tobacco Spirits without the raw masculine leather, and not a hint of cherry. Just rich honey and tonka subtly diffused with woods and dry vanilla and spiced with soft cinnamon. No intriguing Sicilian aromatics for me ='( Personally I crave something more, but not much, like a sharp undercurrent of bergamot, herbal aromatic lavender, a smattering of bitter lemon rind or a hint of dirty jasmine.
Naxos feels too easy and accessible. Like the man at the bar ready to buy you a drink. Or a short skirted woman who never gets rejected. I enjoy scents that play a little hard to get but are worth the wait. Naxos is well constructed but somehow lacks artistic character for the price. Faultlessy textbook. Ironically, there is such a thing as too easy, too perfect. Should I ever feel the need for an easy tobacco scent for $245 I’d wouldn’t hesitate to take up a bottle of Naxos.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

this is an absolute masterpiece, you want compliments and women to love you, wear this and it’s over with.

    Wow,Wow,Wow !!
This perfume is simply stunning !!
It smells amazing. No, it smells divine and the performance is very good.
I received a sample of Xerjoff Naxos from my cousin (the same one who introduced me to Creed Aventus ) and I was blown away instantly. I mean, you have to smell this to understand what I’m saying.
A very beautifull honey/tobacco scent that smells refined and classy. There are not many people who will dislike this because it smells absolutely gorgious. This perfume has become my Holy Grail without a doubt. There are many perfumes that smell good but only a few have the high quality that Naxos oozes. It performs like crazy. People around you smell you without being in their face. 10 hours later and you can still smell it on yourself. What more can you ask for ?
I hope that Xerjoff keeps making this beauty till the end of times.
    Scent 10/10
    Projection 10/10
    Longevity 10/10
Divine perfection in a bottle !!

Another home run for Xerjoff, Naxos is a beautiful beast indeed.
Again, the note breakdown is spot on with the lavender being particularly dominant to my nose but not in a barber shop way. All the rest of the notes are there if you chose to look for them.
Performance is superb, so much so that you really do have to go lightly with the trigger finger on this one. Oversprayers could choke the life out of any occasion so be careful. Less is definitely more. A bottle will last a lifetime.
There’s definitely a similarity to Pure Havane but Naxos truly does trump it in ever respect. Like many here is owned it and then sold it upon purchasing the Xerjoff, I’d never be able to wear it again knowing what I could be wearing instead. I know I’d be reaching for Naxos over it every time. It became redundant.
Shop around and get a deal, get a split, join frag groups and buy a partial bottle – if anyone ever decides to get rid of theirs! Whatever you do, get you hands and nose on this and sit back and enjoy. It’s just breathtaking.

An artisanal blend of honey + tobacco (with the latter quite prominent to my nose). Undisguisedly masculine. But ladies who love honeyed-tobacco scents could pull this actually. If you love A*Men Pure Havane or Fendi’s Fan di Fendi frag, then grab Naxos. It’s a far topnotch, niched rendition of both. Ideal for breezy evenings (having events like fashion gigs, soirees and brand activations)! Another olfactory curio by XERJOFF!!!

    “Too Sweet”
I have Xerjoff Zefiro & Renaissance. I have wanted to love Naxos and buy it to complete the 1861 series. I have gone through three samples at different seasons and times to convince myself to like Naxos, but I just can’t.
I love the individual notes, but this is a disaster of a fragrance collectively speaking. The dry down is nice, but the opening hour or so is obnoxious.
It is well made, but not my cup of tea. Next one please …

  42. :

    4 out of 5

Unbearably, obnoxiously sweet. Very much like “Herod” by Parfum de Marly, only stronger and more unrelenting.
The smell of tobacco, apples and cinnamon is not what bothers me, rather it is the dense, cloying, waxy quality that makes my nose feel pinched and sore, incapable of smelling anything else. It’s like having your face buried into a giant Yankee Christmas candle. It doesn’t develop beyond this unctious blob of thick, tarry sweetness.
Applied very lightly (a dab behind the knees) it could perhaps be wearable, but in extremely limited conditions, i.e. Christmas Day when everything smells like that anyway.

I tried XJ 1861 Naxos as a lot of people were claiming it smells similar to Pure Havane.
I love the opening of Pure Havane, it smells to me like a cherry syrup, but it lasts only for about 15 minutes and then the basenotes come, which I don´t like as much.
So XJ 1861 Naxos smells like Pure Havane. But it´s not better.
There´s nothing in XJ 1861 Naxos which would make it a superior to Pure Havane.
I get the same opening and the same problem as with Pure Havane, the basenotes come too fast.
Lasting power and projection are almost the same as with Pure Havane.

“Sun is shining the weather is sweet, yeah. Make you wanna move and smell like Naxos all day now”. Those lyrics are in my head every time I wear this jewel, just altered for my moment of pure bliss.
When the sun is in the sky Xerjoff’s Naxos is a perfect match for the warm weather. Its vibrant aroma awakens the olfactory senses and brightens up your day. It also can be worn in colder months, but I wear this mainly in the warmer months, pure sunshine in a bottle, plain and simple, fresh, bright, spicy and sweet aromas that are well blended to form this beautifully inviting and hypnotic alluring fragrance that is Naxos.
Opening with beautifully bright and fresh bergamot, luscious lemon and the relaxing lavender, just an angelic harmony in this creation that make you appreciate and love life, a real uplifting start to Naxos that surely anyone will appreciate. Followed up with some spicy sweetness with the cinnamon and honey, the combination of the cinnamon and honey has a very dreamy aroma all on their own, so just when you think Naxos can’t get any better the enthralling aromas of tobacco and tonka bean kick in, and lastly vanilla seductively sweeps you off your feet making you fall for the utter captivating aura that only Naxos has in pure abundance.
Longevity is long lasting on me, 10-14 hours easy which is absolutely amazing and what I would expect from a fragrance of this craftsmanship and calibre. Projection is just as remarkable with the aroma still surrounding me in its breathtaking embrace throughout the day and into the night.
Overall, Naxos is my favourite fragrance from the XJ 1861 line, and most likely my favourite so far from the house of Xerjoff. I warn you though as soon as you try this fragrance, you most likely will fall in love with the exquisiteness that of course is the one, the only Naxos.

What the actual &@$£!? It took me anout 10 minutes to realize it but this smells identical to “Pure Tonka”. I immediately went up and sprayed the Pure Tonka on my other arm and asked the people I was with if they could tell the difference. Nobody could.
I can’t even do a full review on this because it’s too damn close to Pure Tonka. This is a completely redundant purchase if you have Thierry Mugler’s P.T. And at, what…quadruple the price? And I got nearly identical performance? Hell no.
Yes the Xerjoff is better blended. Yes it lasts a little longer. Yes there are some differences. But I’m a tobacco fragrance lover and I couldn’t smell the tobacco in this. Just straight up “Pure Tonka”.
No. Not gonna do it. Can’t justify it.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Oh wow. Definitely the best honeyed tobacco scent I have had the fortune of coming across. There is an almost almondy character to it, sugared almonds/dragée/confetti-like but certainly not childish or cloying in any way, and it intermingles perfectly with the cinnamon, tonka and vanilla. Absolutely delightful.

  47. :

Love at first spry. All the Sicilian smell in this scent. It can be sparkle and sweet, bright. Strong and sweet caracter.
Tutto il calore e l’odore della Sicilia!!! Sa essere frizzante a volte soave, dolce o peperino. Un profumo di carattere

    3 out of 5

Only my second try from the beloved house of Xerjoff (after Nio last year), 1861 Naxos smells as good on skin as I recall when smelling it on paper in Twisted Lily in Brooklyn last fall.
Naxos has a fresh opening of bergamot, lemon, and lavender but quickly dries down into its feature act of tobacco, honey, cinnamon, tonka, and vanilla. For me, the standouts are the tobacco and honey, and this falls right into the “sweet tobacco” or more specifically “honey tobacco” category of scents that seem to be both popular and ubiquitous on the market.
Because of the strong resemblance to Thierry Mugler A*Men Pure Havane, I can imagine at $246 for 100ml Naxos may not be an ideal option. There are certainly other niche honey tobaccos (i.e. Parfums de Marly Herod) that are celebrated and slightly better-priced. I’d lean toward Herod, myself, but certain can concede that while a $50 or $60 bottle of Pure Havane is a much more sensible option on a budget, Naxos is nonetheless smoother and more refined than Pure Havane, lacking its oft-reported “cherry tobacco” sweetness.
Still, if you’re on the hunt for the next great sweet tobacco, or more specifically, honeyed tobacco, then this might end up fitting the bill despite the price tag. I’d probably pass on this since I get enough out of Pure Havane, Herod, and other entries like Wiseguys Vegas Cologne and Dua Fragrances Honey Havane, to not feel compelled to opt for another honey tobacco.

A beautiful largely tobacco and honey fragrance but not too sweet, just perfect. Those who think this classy juice is in the same league as TM Amen Havane should be ashamed of themselves. Havane is a very poor wishy washy pale imitation. I think of Naxos like luxuriant warm autumn sunshine in a bottle. When the weather is rubbish then smile and wear this. I have SL Fourreau Noir and its a cooler feeling fragrance with a touch more lavender. The lavender is present but it is not strong and more like an accent note to enhance the others. I do get the tonka and vanilla which I think are more evident after and hour or two. This is one loved by both sexes. It has good sillage and lasts for many hours. I dare you to try it and not smile. Fantastic performance even in hot humid conditions.

  51. :

Very similar to Serge Lutens Fourreau Noir as it is heavy on the tonka and lavender. Very pleasant fragrance with a beastly longevity and projection. Not for me though.

This is a honey sweet slight saffron with cinnamon, tonka bean and a hint of tobacco. This fragrance i have sniffed somewhere but i can’t remember! or maybe it is common to my nose as i think i have smelled similarities sometimes on people i know and it wasn’t Naxos for sure.
It is quality and nicely blended but to me it’s not what i seek as i feel it’s kind of too sweetish to my taste and too common as well.

Superb fragrance the quality and finesse shine through in this deep intricate tobacco scent. Immediately does smell like Pure Havane and there’s no doubt about it not enough innovation to make me want this over the Mugler.
What Naxos does is a more gourmand and accurate smelling tonka bean note and touches of honey, rather than the cherry of TM PH. It reminds me as much of Parfums de Marly Oajan as it does anything else.
The fact that I own both the Mugler and the Marly not to mention Tobacco vanille which in terms of lasting power, there’s no contest.
I’ve really tried to be fair in my appraisal here because Xerjoff have grown on me as a house but this fragrance is redundant and has been executed better and far far cheaper elsewhere.
All it needs is one element to make it pop out from the crowd and I’d give it props for that…unfortunately it doesn’t have anything to offer.

النقطة الوحيدة التي تشفع له فوحانه وثباته العالي أما أرى بيور هافانا اجمل منه بدقة وحرفية صناعته ولا يوجد شبه كبير

This is the definition of a head turning unisex fragrance that is very very versatile. The honey tobacco vanilla and citrus are blended so extremely well I can’t even smell alcohol when it’s wet on skin! It is just a very pleasing scent and I am proud to say it will be my first Xerjoff full bottle I purchase next to more than words which I will review next.
    9/10

Oh, I should have bought his when I bought Zefiro whilst I had the cash.
Absolutely smitten like a kitten with it’s complex notes and lasting charm. Everything around me faded away enabling my soul to be sitting on a warm sunny beach with the scent of exotic flowers and fresh spices wafting past my nostrils. I could not keep my nose away from sniffing it for many hours.
Another “must-have” from the Xerjoff collection.

Note to self: I should’ve bought this instead of Xerjoff Don…Smh
I wish i could single-handedly erase all of the Pure Havane votes. Pure Havane is a garage band and Naxos is a orchestra in comparison. Whomever in Pefumeland wears this fragrance will indeed enchant thus attracting a brand new stalker. I have about 20 something samples in my possession and this is the only one that actually put me in a good mood; absolutely changed my spirit. I can smell all of the notes pretty evenly in the beginning. With a gun to my head, i would say this is more floral than anything. Xerjoff is an inconsistent house(I think we can all agree to that) but every now and then, they tend to crank out something you want for your collection. This is that moment.

I dont get the pure havane comparison at all. If anything I found the first few hours of this fragrance to be quite feminine. The florals in this really came out on my skin, and the jasmine was quite strong. Instead of pure havanes sorta sticky sweet candy sorta honey this is more of a soft powdery honey. This fragrance is much more creamy as well than something like pure havane. I guess if you forced me to compare it to pure havane though I would say its something like perfumes de marly pegasus mixed with pure havane(sorta). Now that kinda mix I could see for sure.
It lasts for a good while, and once it starts drying down you get a bit of the cinnamon to give it a bit of a kick and different aspect, and the rest of the fragrance comes together and it becomes more delicious to say. Of course at this point as well its no longer really projecting anymore either so its really only for you or some alone time to say at this point in the first place.
Anyway a little to girly for me at the beginning, smells nice, and although im pleased it isnt a pure havane knock off as others seem to think, it just doesnt do it for me to justify its price.
    Just alright.

Honestly wasn’t expecting the performance I’m getting off this, it’s jumping of my skin nearly 7 hours in.
I have Nio and Kobe also, if this was a fight then Naxos would be last man standing, end of story.
It starts bright and fresh then transforms into the smell I’ve been searching for, it’s just got better and better over the hours.
The jasmine and cinnamon bounce of each other then a world class tobacco accord comes in and blends it to perfection. Naxos is the first fragrance that I can actually smell on myself hours after hitting the nozzle.
I will update on the dry down when I get to the end of this – 3 sprays, that’s all you need, if this was a soldier it would be special forces such is the power and never say die attitude. I’ve had 2 peopl
