Finally wearing my sample to work today!
So, the opening notes are incredible; i get a very strong “jasmine green tea” vibe. An overall floral/green/tea leaf aroma. Very nice, very clean, leans barely feminine in my opinion.
However, about 45 minutes later as i arrived at work, the scent is putting off a sort of plasticky smell, like a plastic bottle or bag. Not off-putting but just surprising for something that’s well over $200 for 50ml.
Will report back after a full wearing, but due to that ensuing plastic smell I’m not totally impressed. Not like i was with Hacivat.

Better one of two Nishane perfumes I tried so far, other being Patchouli Kozha. For some time I am trying to find “cha”-ish scent and this one came very close to something that would be it. Something that could be worn on the days when you don’t want smell of perfume. But still you want to have around your nose something that is quiet and agreeable and soft. But when I checked the price i gave up, it is unreasonably expensive. And hard to get. So, my quest is going on.

Classy, sparkly, fresh and elegant citrus-green tea which doesn’t quite justify its high-niche-level price, IMHO only. Genuinely delicious stuff – it skips around the pitfalls of smelling like laundry musk, or cheap-chemical lime, with absolute confidence and deftness. I don’t get any rogue fruit, which is just as well – no litchi or ripe fig for me, which is fine, because I don’t like ’em anyway! The green tea is true, if soft, as well – though like all too many tea-based scents, this is the first note in the accord to die away. Wulong Cha is truly impressive – yet to my nose it doesn’t get all the way to startling originality, or beauty so overwhelming it makes you cry. One for those seeking a perfect green tea scent, for sure – but my personal taste is for a darker, richer, blacker cup of cha, so I’ll leave this one for the summer fresh set.

Wulong cha in Chinese means Black Dragon Tea and Cha in English is slang for tea which was taken from Hindi word chai which also means tea so from name of the fragrance you can imagine this is tea based fragrance. It does remains true to its name however it is more than a tea based fragrance in my view and creator of this perfume is Jorge lee who has created most of Nishane fragrance so that makes me excited .
As you spray this perfume you smell sweet citrus note which is combination of bergamot with litchi and orange and this is a fantastic opening I am very sure most folks will be sold with this opening. As it moves from opening which last only few minutes it start turning into green tea which is not fully oxidised or fermented. If you know tea making process a fresh leaf from tea garden is oxidised or fermented to make into dark black colour which we normally consume however Wulong cha smell lies more on green leaf side, then black tea. I have seen some reviews on this fragrance and no one talks about the role of Fig in this perfume however as it dries down I see fig playing a dominant role along with green tea which Is just beautiful and unique. In general, it is very linear, easy to wear, uplifting and unique fragrance. Its gives decent projection for summer fragrance and last about 8 hours.
This is not the best Nishane fragrance I have smelled but certainly in top 3, I will recommend you to sample this fragrance however I won’t consider this as safe blind buy because green tea note may not be appealing to everyone however if you love the green tea note then wulong cha will make you happy on a warm summer day! (8.5/10)

Like swimming in the sea of refreshing green tea!
Finally true Summer perfume that is long lasting and with great projection and sillage! All while NOT being cloying or ugly “fake-a-marine” deodorant alike!
I think for ladies it perfect for both Spring and Summer. For men, however, it might be a bit too feminine for Spring, but perfectly fine in Summer, for both indoors and outdoors use.
As soon as I’m done with my testers, I’m buying me full bottle of it.

I’m in love with this! From the name I expected a darker tea smell, but this is very much a fresh tea scent — elegant, effortless, and pretty. It starts out with a wonderfully fresh and realistic orange/bergamot peel scent, which then settles into a lightly fragrant tea. What I love is that there is a slight sweetness (the lychee and fig?) to round everything out. Another great thing is that while this is a tea perfume, it doesn’t make you smell like a teabag. It is very much the essence of tea balanced by the other notes, and leaves me feeling comforted and uplifted. A great hot-weather scent.

A very well made tea scent that is long lasting and perfect for hot summer days. Refreshes yourself but also everyone around you 🙂
fresh, light tea scent for (green) tea lovers. I purchased a FB after I tried it in store and after I used this extensively for hot summer day and night parties I am very happy about it. I received many compliments on this that it smells unique and could even be a signature scent for me (I am a passionate tea drinker and lover)
– Sillage: soft. Very close to skin but a fresh beautiful skin scent.BUT if you spray a lot, sillage is great. I use 5-8 spritz
– Longevity: good for a fresh, tea scent. You forget about it over the day but it comes back even after 6hours and reminds you that it is still there
Not a very complex perfume, pretty linear but a very clean, well made tea scent. However, it still has a special something. High quality perfume for sure
Bergamot and lime are very strong on me which is great for hot hot summers and clubbing.

Vibrant and fresh! Wulong Cha is optimistic and bright. This reminds me very much of a fresher iteration of Bvlgari’s au The Rouge without being drowned in a flat floral fig at the bottom of the cup.
However, I associated Wulong with classic oolong and was expecting a darker, more oxidized tea with roasty, malty undertones. Nope. This one is closer to a bright Earl Grey rich with bergamot, but even a classic Earl Grey is made with black tea, and not with fresh young tea as I detect here.
In fact, this is rather close to L’Occitane’s discontinued standout Bergamot Tea / The Bergamote, but even there black tea was prominent. Wulong Cha has much better longevity in it’s tea note though and is refreshing for many hours.
Lychee and orange offer some gentle fruity and floral nuances but this still persists as a bergamot tea.
The musk is suggestive of very young, white tea with fuzzy tips still remaining on the leaves — delicate and freshly picked. Nutmeg gives a soft woody balance in the drydown.
Overall, Wulong Cha is one that would be loved by most tea aficionados that is well worth a mood-lifting sampling. Although this is not the darker, richer tea I was expecting, I’ll be considering a full bottle of this beauty as I use up my sample.

Amazing !!!
blad234 – :
Unfortunately it is not a complex perfume on me: only green tea and bergamot!
The burst of bergamot comes only in the opening, which gives it a bitter feel.
Then it is straight up green tea, although very pure, and very strong.
The tea stays present on the skin, even in the dry down.
I would recommend it to someone who really loves green tea and wants a high quality, straight green tea with good staying power.
