For men, for men… blablabla! I’m beginning to be rather sick of a certain perfume being for this or that gender. Again: no such thing is printed on my bottle. As it should be. I’m a woman and I claim the right not to smell like a freakin’ flower or some or another sweet, fruity rubbish all the time. I have my moments with flowers -especially roses- but I like my wood and my incenses. This one is a very woody one. Personally, I don’t smell any patchouli in it. Pure wood, just the way I love it. I was lucky enough to snap this perfume oil up at half price in my local niche perfumery. Couldn’t be happier. The bottles are lovely as well, pure old time luxury.

A de-fanged patchouli, light in tone, on a woody smelling base. Smells like patchouli and wood, and not much else. A bit perfumy, lacks ostensible development, but that is to be expected. These are tenacious perfume oils, European by by construction, but Arabian by format.
