What a great way to handle that very floral peony note. A note that I can easily find too much to wear.
It has been lift and warmed with the raspberry and resins. It’s afternoon tea in an early summer flower garden in June. Raspberry jam, clotted cream, scones on the lacy table cloth and a big clump of peonies in bloom behind where you are seated. What a delicious olfactory experience.
It smells so good you almost wish you could eat it!
Along the timeline the peony eases off a bit and now it’s more about the raspberries, resin and wood notes.
I have given the impression that this is very sweet but that would be false. It’s a warm resinous fruity/floral that’s easy going and friendly.
I’d be very happy to wear this with a lovely tea dress. Fab for a summer wedding or similar.
Moderate longevity and retracts back to a skin scent on me quite quickly.
