In cold weather it smells masculine, fresh and sharp, a little bit metallic. Coriander seeds and berries… A nice, slightly aromatic fruity unisex fragrance. I like it, but it’s better in the summer, when it’s fruity and sweet, almost like an ice cream. In the winter, you can detect the Womanity notes in a second, but in the summer, it’s like a summer Escada plus a drop of Womanity. Well, 80-20%, to be more exact. I just love it. Love the winter “face” of it, when it’s metallic and cool, distant and unique. And love the summery sweet “face”, when it’s like a super fancy and expensive fruity cocktail. It still has a little bit of the distance keeper cold notes (Womanity), but it just makes it classy. BIG LOVE <3

Initial burst of blackcurrant is amazing but does not last long enough on me. The spices come through pretty quickly, coriander? pepper? Prefer my Elles version as this just settles into spicey & not much fruit. Nice for a change but it hasn’t blown me away, need to wear a few times really to get its heart. PS the bottle is gorgeous…edited to add it really doesn’t have the longevity of other Mugler fragrances being an EDT so don’t be scared to try it.

So far I’ve tried 3 versions of Womanity, the original, Taste of Fragrance and this one. This one is my favorite, because it’s an original version but much lighter, amplified with black currant. Since I live in the hot climate, this version fits me best, it also doesn’t kill anyone around. In the original I really hated the fig note, in the taste of fragrance I also hated the fig note, here there is no fig, just very soft and sweet black currant, and that’s one of my favorite fruity notes. It’s very unisex, and lasts quite a long time.

In exact the same spirit of original “Womanity” the aqua chic is a little lighter, more sweet and the spices are well hidden in the background. It is an amazing perfume may be the best for spring/summer. The bottle is lovely too where there is a shade of “oyster” like in the bottom which fades coming to the surface mixing with the see through glass. Thank goodness they kept the lovely cap with the chain. The perfume it self, is long lasting. I love this new friend perfume and I am glad I own it now!!!!

This Womanity smells just like the original Womanity except you can smell the deep black currant and i even smelled a slight lemon note that refreshes it and gives it that slight twist to it…if you want a change to your Womantiy but the same feel go for this..it is a lighter version for the summer but still halfway intense and mugler products never dissappoint!

Though the notes of Womanity Aqua Chic don’t contain fig nor caviar, oddly the combination of those berries and coriander manages to capture the aroma of the original Womanity. It smells like the original but more rounded and more girly. If the original is a confident woman, then Aqua Chic must be a sweet girl in her late teenage years. The longevity is around 5 hours on me and the sillage is close. A good alternative for those who can’t stand the raw weirdness of the original Womanity IMO.

I stopped by the Mugler counter yesterday to test this, among other perfumes.. I sprayed it and I could immediately smell the coriander.. As I walked around to search for other fragrances to test, a woman stopped me and said: that’s it! Smells divine! What are you wearing ? When I told her she looked at me with disbelief (given the general dislike of the original womanity, I’m guessing?). She walked to the aisle to test it for herself. I proceeded home to test the longevity of this summer scent with no purchase.1 hour ago, it is still on, smelling very fresh and enticing… Who knows? I might get a bottle…

I have bought it after long time spent in perfume store. This was the last one I sniffed and I thought-That´s IT! Firstly I found it very unique, I could smell corriander and salt and I didn´t find it sweet too much, but more spicy. But the first impress had changed after two days of wearing it. Now I find it sweet, I can´t smell the salt and spices anymore, but some people say that it smells very fresh and different on me.
It was the first fragrance by Thierry I liked. The others I usually found disgusting… I don´t regret that I have spent money on it, and I have 50ml, so I will use it probably till the end, but I don´t think I will return to it again, bos finally I am not so satisfied.
And what I want to add – after one weak of wearing it I find it the same as Davidoff Cool water. Maybe it is only my immatured nose, but there is something very similar.

What is going on with Mr Mugler’s nose of late? When it comes to the Alien range and the Angel range he does flankers and I can see the difference in each one and the point for it but the Womanity range is kind of sad. Womanity was such a confident gal out there with no shame and now he just keeps beating her into submission with these flankers in a desperate bid to get the masses to like it by the time they pluck up the courage to spray flanker number 20 on their wrist and find something redeeming in it, it ain’t Womantity any more Mr Mugler it just convinces the Angel brigade that they are being risky with their perfume when in actual fact it is just poor Womanity beaten into submission by an overdose of strawberries or citrus.
Mugler needs to accept that Womanity just didn’t take flight and let it be and move on because now it is just getting embarrassing he designed what was a very original perfume love it or hate it but unfortunately he is not a niche perfume house he has become well entrenched in the mainstream and those people think they are being experimental by wearing a squirt of Alien when they go out “only for special occasions” so naturally they didn’t like Womanity, didn’t understand it and probably never will so the whole exercise is pointless. Open a niche brand on the side and try these experiments they will be accepted and attract a better following or else move on because I can guarantee the Angel brigade has and probably won’t notice this exists or any other flanker and the stores don’t stock them.

It is a totally different scent than the original which I couldn’t stand!!
This is juicy berry fresh, yet with something in it that makes it unique! Must be the coriander water which keeps it from being just a sweeter version.
I smelled Womanity Eau and it is not quite the same , Eau still has the caviar/ fig accord so so I am glad Mugler created a version without it!
I found Alien Aqua Chic sharp and not that great but Womanity is one to have!!

I know those flanker stuff is big business for the industry, but I don’t really get the point buying a perfume that smells very alike one I already have.
To me this smells like Womanity light. I mean, you can easily only use your Womanity sparingly and have the same effect, I guess. That’s what you should do with Womanity after all, I think.
I haven’t sniffed one Womanity flanker that differed enaugh to make me buy and actually I sniffed them all. Maybe it’s different for Alien or Angel, for which I have no interest therefor never bothered to try the flankers.
I still find the original Womanity to be the most satisfying.
