ΑHLAM AL ARAB by Ard Al Zaafaran house. It’s not at the database.
Official notes
Top : mandarin, fruity notes
Middle : oriental spicies, cedar
Base : amber, white musk
This scent comes in a nice presentation box with a deodorant (the deodorant is completely different lol it smells caramel) and 100 ml of the edp for 20 usd.
It’s a beautiful citrusy/floral, slightly fruity, slightly spicy scent on a white musk base. Suitable for warm weather daytime. Although it is promoted as masculine, it feels totally unisex.
The opening is very strong with citruses (mandarin and traces of bergamot) and in a few seconds I get a greenish jasmine with faint lilac and something peachy. The citruses calm down but never die. The jasmin lives till the end. The cedar is faint and I don’t get any amber. It’s all about strong citruses, florals with faint peach on a white musk base.
The projection could be better, it’s an arms lenght after 15 minutes and the sillage is moderate. I’m still evaluating the longevity. It seems it’s above average but I can’t confirm it yet.
Overall it’s a very nice and pleasant unisex summer scent. It reminds me something else but I can’t figure out now. I’m very pleased from the price/quality ratio of Zaafaran’s house. Definitely it’s not equal with high end niche but it’s decent and better than many more expensive modern designer offerings. Beautiful summer scent and very affordable. I bought it today.

I bought 100ml of this from a seller on eBay for £12.99 (free P&P).
Fragrantica haven’t assigned this to a group, but in my opinion this should be classified as a floral oriental.
I don’t really care about the packaging of perfumes, but have to mention that the bottle is surprisingly heavy and expensive looking and would look very attractive on display. The top is a little loose though, so don’t rely on it when picking up the bottle; it will come off and the bottle will probably break a toe if it lands on it.
On first spraying this is powerful, but the initial blast fades quickly to a manageable – and delightful – rosy-oud scent.
Before dismissing this as yet another common Arabic rose/oud combo, unworthy of your attention, you need to know that this is probably THE most realistic fresh rose scent I have smelled in a perfume. It is absolutely lovely.
The oud here is not “barnyardy” or rough, but grounds the fragrance, adding a little woody spice.
The slight sweetness comes exclusively from the flowers, not from vanilla.
On drydown, there’s something about this perfume which reminds me of Yves Rocher’s Comme une Evidence EDP; the only advertised note they have in common is jasmine, but I don’t think it is strong enough in WAA to be the root of the similarity. WAA is almost a soliflore.
I believe you should wear whatever makes you happy, but – and again this is only my opinion – I think this perfume leans more toward the feminine.
Sillage is moderate – not sure about longevity yet. I’ll try to update tomorrow after a day’s wear.
This smells expensive and I would be very happy with it if I had paid 5X more. It is a safe blind buy if you enjoy slightly spicy rose scents.
Just gorgeous.

I just got a bottle of this beautiful sensual heavy rose perfume a few days ago!!!! Just as Dead Memories says, it is just that. It’s gorgeus!!! Divine. Lasts forever too, really good longevity and the sillage is perfect. It’s rich and lush, vibrant, erotic and passionate! Very much a love!!!!!!
