Lewd indeed. But more to the sense of dirty than lascivious. This is a strong unisex citrus; no particularly masculine cologne-ness, and no particular feminine sweet-ness. Aromatic oranges, the entirety of them; fruit, peels, and leaves. Blended with a forest. It’s reminiscent of pine, dark and primordial, at first. And then develops into a much spicier and pungent scent. The hay comes in strong and warm. It’s a thick, dense aroma; rather complex on me, going in and out of bitey/tangy phases. Yet, altogether, it’s a “comfort” fragrance. It smells like the orange groves in November. Oranges are a winter fruit, and central FL is full of orange groves, and this feels like eating the first ones off the tree. They taste so fresh and orange-y that I don’t even notice they aren’t really sweet yet. Rebel Intuitive is a natural perfumer and it shows in the richness and purity of the scent; nothing synthetic smelling. Alas the oils are so natural and also volatile that they don’t last super long, evaporating almost entirely from my skin in about 4 hours.
