My boyfriend’s mom gave me this and the matching lotion for christmas. It is a scent I would never choose for myself, but it does smell nice and I like to wear in on Sundays after a bubble bath. Very sweet with just enough fresh apple zest and cinnamon to keep it somewhat grounded. great longevity too, it sticks around loong after you’re tired of smelling it 😉

As natluvly said, this is very much like VS Endless Love with just the slightest touch of spice. It’s a shame it’s a limited edition holiday fragrance because it could easily be worn all year. Good lasting power for a body spray, lasts all day on clothes.

I got a bottle of the Winter Candy Apple fine fragrance mist last Christmas. I feel like I use it quite a bit, yet the bottle is almost full! Although I do smell a bit of spiciness in this perfume, it is fresh enough to use year-round, and even to the gym. The longevity, for a fragrance mist as opposed to an EDP, is surprisingly good. Maybe that’s why I’ve hardly used any.

Winter Candy Apple may not be elegant, but she’s December to me. After reading the notes I can seemingly pin-point the orange and the rose, though I detect no trace of cinnamon. This fragrance is teeny-bopper sweet and comes with a blast of a shampoo-fruity-freshness (Herbal Essences, specifically), and it invigorated me through four years of candle sales and 1:00am floorsets at Bath & Body Works in my early 20’s.
It’s a festive daytime scent to wear while you decorate your tree and go window shopping for your mom and scrape the frost off your windshield in the late morning after asking one of your friends to hold your sugary latte. It’s the sleigh bells in Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and the glitter that somehow got in your hair even though you haven’t touched ANYTHING in this Pier 1 Imports

I have loved this for years and buy this every year at Christmas time. I buy the candle too. It smells like sweet candy apple and for some reason mint to my nose although it isnt listed that is what it smells like to me. Its strong, long lasting and reminds me of past Christmases.

I absolutely adore this scent, it’s one of the few winter scents that I really really like from bath and body works. I think most people who left a review hit the nail on the head when describing this fragrance.
It’s juicy red apple with a bit of candy, a soft rose petal, beautiful cinnamon incense and a woodsy bite! It’s sweet and very alluring, but not cloyingly sweet like vanilla bean noel. I really hope that they continue to bring this out over the holidays because it really is a gem of a fragrance.

Rich red apple glows through warm spice and sweet creme vanilla in this composition. Sounds good, right? Well, it is, but proceed carefully, and don’t apply more than a little. Winter Candy Apple is potent potent stuff. Given how synthetic the overall profile is, you would think this fragrance would be a miss, but the brazen sweetness of the sugar blended with a room-freshening apple note somehow works quite nicely.

The first time I smelled Winter candy apple was during class. I was taking a nap during the class and I was woken up by this amazing scent. I asked my friend if she can smell the fragrance but she couldn’t. I looked around and saw a classmate applying the cream on her hands. I absolutely love it. There is no bbw store in Pakistan so I had to order online. Costed me 1000 pk rupees which is around 10 dollars. It was a good bargain. It’s my favorite scent. Replaced Escada Moon Sparkle. It’s fresh and fruity. The perfect combo. It’s not sickening sweet either like most people tend to find it as.

My sister-in-law gave this to me. It is a vary wonderful sent. This scent has smell of apples with something sweet, but a mature sweet. It is not your normole apple smell from BBW. I got a few complements from friends.

This seems to smell completely different on me that it does on the other reviewers. All I get in the initial spray is orris root and moss. Very earthy.
No sweetness to it at all until several hours into the drydown, when I finally get some faint soapy apple, rose, and neroli notes.
I still like it. The scent is quite lovely and it lasts a very long time on me, but it wasn’t what I was expecting.

This is one I usually wear layered with the lotion. I get compliments on this one when I wear it which is usually in the summer months. Even though it’s seasonal as a Christmas scent, it’s soft, light, sugared candy apple that works well in the summer. Think of the nice sweet smells at the fair and that is what it reminds me of. I’ve repurchased several times and have back ups.

This is SOOO good! I think it is quite underrated since it’s an “apple” scent. I think usually apple scents are assumed to be crisp or springy (like a green apple kind of smell). This is not that. I think the reviewer below me nailed it on the head when she said it reminds her of a holiday incense! I love incense kind of smells, so this may be why I’m so drawn to it.

I’m normally a vanilla gourmand scent gal. I was needing to get another 3 items for the B3G3 free. I had fallen for the cashmere & snowflakes, and everything else was too sickly sweet or sugarbomb. I looked at Winter candy apple, and put the lotion on & walked around for an hour, my hubby said “I smell winter holiday sangria somewhere.” I held my arm to him && he loved it! I’ve had many compliments on the scents saying “smells like holiday incense”, “smells like Xmas punch.” This is quite a nice scent, good projection, great lasting power too.

This scent is Adorable!! Layer this one with Demeter Fragrance Ginger Cookie (It cuts down the sweetness, whilst, keeping it Christmasy!) …And you’ll have guys chasing down the street, wanting to bite you!! (….Not in a Zombie Apocalyptic sort of way!) Sorry,”Walking Dead” Fandoms!

Only when u use it as a lotion or a shower gel
Something goes wrong with it in the mist

This is my all-time favorite from B&BW! I wear it all year round. I fell in love instantly when it was first launched (back in the nineties I believe). That was when it came in a toy soldier bottle.I still have the used bottle! I will never be without it, lotion spray and body wash. I hope they don’t ever stop making it.

this scent smells gross, sorry B&B, I love you but I really hate this scent. Smells like those syrup medicine that my mom used to force me to drink whenever i’m sick. Brings bad memories.

I tested this in the store, and it did smell delicious however I did not buy this.
I think the apples smell way too sweet for me to wear this,
but its defiantly one of the yummiest smells they have around the holidays besides Vanilla Bean Noel.

Discovered Winter Candy Apple in the 9th grade, when my mom had gotten the hand soap version and forgot about it for a few months. I found it and instantly fell in love with this scent! I always stock up on the lotion at the after Christmas sale!

I have the body mist. It’s heavy and for some reason it smells like apple combined with detergent. Reminds of body fantasies body spray (apple). It doesn’t smell like fresh apples to me, it smells somewhat synthetic.

I can pick up the candy apple, orange zest, musk & a hint of cinnamon….its a cozy scent that smells like fresh apples, sugar & musk! Its a really nice scent and the orange zest is like a pick me up!!!
This scent has decent staying power especially when used with the matching bodywash and body lotion/cream.

Unfortunately they did change the scent of this about 3 years ago. Not sure what they did to it. But i still have a couple tubes from the last year of the original scent. The new winter candy apple just doesn’t compare to the original version 🙁
    But I use both

I purchased this last Christmas at the semi-annual sale. I believe it was either right before or just following Christmas. I got the full sized body spray for like 75% off and a small lotion. All together I think I paid like 3 bucks.
I bought this scent because it reminded me a lot of Endless Love by VS that I used to wear back when it was first released maybe like the year 2000. I loved that one because it smelled really clean and I liked how it smelled on me. I also received a lot of compliments on that one. Well, I grew out of that one but when I smelled Winter Candy Apple it took me back to those days. This one is just a bit more sharp and apple-y (not a word) while EL showcased the ylang ylang a bit more. I have the one in the pink bottle not this one pictured and I don’t think it has the notes listed above. Mine pretty much smells like Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner in the original pink bottle. This stuff lasts a really long time. One spray is enough and I apply a little of the lotion to my forearms and it lasted 3/4 of the day. A great nostalgic find for not a lot of money.

I just purchased the Ultra Shea Body Cream in Winter Candy Apple today. After showering, I applied it all over and in the two hours since, I haven’t been able to stop sniffing my arms. Within the last six months, I have reacquainted myself with B&BW, so I’m new to the reissued holiday scents. Winter Candy Apple is sweet, but not bubblegum smelling. As a rose lover, I can really smell the petal scent of that flower. A cinnamon essence settles on the skin when dry.
This fragrance is very pleasant, not obnoxious, and comforting. It feels and smells like a festive product. I will be using it into the winter and will probably return to the store to buy the fine fragrance mist.

I have had this years ago, its been a Christmas scent of BBW, those that they labeled as “seasonal”. I find this scent very likeable, cozy and very christmas-sy, haha, if there is such a word. The candied apple scent is very present, its like apples drenched is vanilla cream kind of scent. I truly love this! The cinnamon is also very present and the combination of both is beautiful. Just wish they had this in perfume version that’s available all year-round. Over all, I would rate this as a 4 out of 5.
