I find that my favorite everyday fragrances are typically the hardest to write reviews on – I think because I feel the need to live up to strength and beauty of the emotion I harbor towards them while still acknowledging their practical role. Kuumba Made Wildflowers certainly falls into this category for me. The perfume oil is a warm, sweet ode to jasmine sambac and rose, clean, elegant, and ever-so-slightly spiced. It’s simple and pleasing, a summer breeze, graceful and classically feminine. It seems to have a secret peppery facet that arises when it heats up on my skin. I find the texture of the oil in the rollerball pleasing – it feels nice going on, absorbs well, and softens my skin. It has soft to moderate sillage and lasts all day. Lately I have been combining it with Kuumba Made Egyptian Musk for a soft, gentle floral reminiscent of dryer sheets.

Standing among jasmine and honeysuckle bushes in the early summer sun. Warm, sweet, floral. Simple and calm.
This could also be reminiscent of fresh laundry, still warm and soft out of the dryer, but without the chemical sting.
I found this at Whole Foods, this brand is pretty great for on-the-go roller oil perfumes, perfect for your purse. Of all the scents that Kuumba Made carries (there are a LOT) this one is my favorite.
