The base of the fragrance enhances character of the edition with accords of amber and leather accompanied with opulent aromas of oak moss, guaiac wood and white musk.

This is a really nice animalic leather with an insane performance. It’s a tad too “fleshy and moist” for my taste, but I’d probably get a bottle if it was more on the dry side. I’m sure it would smell fabulous on an attractive guy. The slightly rugged type, you know…

You must be wearing to impress to pull this one off..
    Great fragrance..
    Performance is well above average…

A contrast between a mixture of Dirty Patchouli leather smell, and a pleasant sweet rose scent. It has this exotic middle eastern smell to me.
I would say this is the one that I wouldn’t recommend people smell directly on your body.. unless you really like the dirty animalic scent. It is quite a pleasant smell when you let the fragrance come to you through air.
The rose in the background really tamed down a bit of that dirtiness. Which makes it wearable to me. I like to layer this with Montale’s So intense Iris. It makes it even sweeter and cleaner to my liking.
When it dries down after 8 hours.. you get this really nice patchouli musk and wood combination (all those animalic scent goes away).
Longevity on this is quite strong. But not beastly on my skin. I get around 10 hours. Also it kind of just disappears on my skin after these hours. Nothing really tracing
Projection is also quite strong. This fragrance just yells “NOTICE ME” on the street. Good for attention whoring.
    8.5/10

Brilliant, and better. This is wild, animal, sexy and versatile. It is one of the best leather scents out there and lasts a good 12 hours on my skin.
When you dress to impress, wear Wild Leather. When you are in casuals, wear Wild Leather. When you are formal dressed, wear Wild Leather. It works for you, however you are dressed and for any occasion.
    Brilliant juice. Well done Mancera….

Not so much wild as raw – the very animalic, funky, almost-sour smell you get on cheaply-tanned suede and hide bags. If you like that particular facet of leather, and some do, you’ll love this. I got no flowery stuff at all, just motorbike-jacket-and petrol notes up at the top. Pretty sharply chemical, almost rank at the very beginning, though it mellows down nicely and is well-behaved overall – despite its unapologetic, unmistakeable leatheriness, it doesn’t beat its chest and grunt at you, drive other people out of elevators, or turn rankly unbearable when night falls. Certainly a hit for straight-ahead leather fans, but not even close to the more contoured and tailored leathers of Tom Ford, Lutens, Dior et al. There’s no hint of glorious spicing or the ancient knowledge or Morocco or Cordoba or any such artsy-heritage stuff here – it’s a blue-collar, no-bullshit leather. Reasonably priced and long-lasting, though, so it does fit a particular slot in the market.
(and – whisper it! – it is still nowhere near as all-out macho as say Knize Ten, which would kick its butt in any bar brawl, leather bar or otherwise. Bold women could wear this easily.)

I cracked open my bottle of Wild Leather and I am wearing it this evening. Mancera Wild Leather is a full-flavored leather fragrance and there is nothing light, aromatic or wimpy about this bad boy.
Most people think of Tuscan Leather when they hear the words “full-flavored” but I assure you they are nothing alike; Tuscan Leather is a luxurious polished Italian leather sofa whereas Wild Leather is lion, tiger, zebra and bison hides stored in a dark wooden coffret. The words leather, animalic and dark-woods (almost oudy) pretty much capture my thoughts.
Some floral tones, patchouli and musk are pushing forth as this scent transitions into the heart/base notes. I see rose and iris listed in the notes pyramid, but it’s too early to identify them as they are still being overpowered by the leather and animalic tones.
This is only my initial impression and I will update and provide a full review soon enough. So far, I like this kinds of fragrance but it will be challenging for others who do not appreciate this kind of fragrance.

At first a plain, animalic leather. Reminds me of a MC leather jacket I bought ages ago straight from the small factory.
I can agree with reviewers that sense a kind of medicinal oud in Wild Leather, but to my nose this chord is associated with leather, a bold and slightly challenging leather.
The stroke of rose, at first impalpable, slowly grinding the sharp edges of the leather is an elegant development. Even though i enjoy the initial boldness of Wild Leather, this evolution makes it wearable for many more occasions.

Just received Wild Leather today and NICEEEEEEEEEEEE (with loads of “E’s”) is the operative term and is how I describe this one!
Smoky and dry…with a definite oud aroma!! The Leather and Patchouli comes across exquisitely. Followed by the Oakmoss, Amber, and Violet that seems to pull this all together to a gorgeous fragrance that I think will garner a lot of compliments; It reminds me of Creed’s Royal Oud but this has more sweetness though with some added mint. Although tobacco is not listed in the note breakdown, it would seem as though it should be listed here……very nice!!
[Here’s something I noticed….I sprayed this on a piece of tissue paper and it smelt very different than what you would smell on skin; on tissue paper, very dark and masculine…on skin, more sweet and smoky…but still manly].
I second rob2b’s thoughts as well….great nose my friend!!
I did a comparison on (Creed’s Royal Oud & Wild Leather) notes and found in both fragrances that the only similar note is the Sicilian Bergamot, everything else is very different!
Great sillage and projection–has EDP written all over it; no seriously, I mean it…it really does has Eau de Parfum written on the bottle….by the way, for those who mentioned this to be manly and masculine, it is that and dirty, I mean real dirty-like sexy dirty in a good way. You know, the kind that……..umm hmmm, yeah that kind!!!

This is an absolutely gorgeous leather fragrance. Its initial blast of smoky leather, guaiacwood and bergamot is powerful and has the hallmarks of the Russian or Arabian schools of leather tanning, which are heavy in birchtar and have an extremely dark, brooding smokiness.
As this dries down, the patchouli, rose and violet gain in prominence and the leather becomes lighter and more luminous, almost like a suede note, reminding me of the gorgeous leather note in Cuir Cannage by Dior.
This is a scent of two main chapters. The dark and brooding and then the light, stylish and sleek. During chapter two, hints of that former darkness occasionally peak through, reminding the wearer of the whole journey.
    Absolutely wonderful!
As other reviewers have suggested, this fragrance has magnificent sillage and longevity. A superb EDP.

Wild Leather came out of nowhere to become one of my favorite perfumes. My friend who I buy my perfumes from sent me a decant of this and I wore it for a day and then straight away ordered a full bottle. Contrary to the name, leather is a player here but does not have the starring role so dont blind buy this expecting the Mancera version of TF Tuscan leather. (Get Montale Aoud Leather for that itch)
Here, atleast on my skin is a combo of Bergamot, Violet and oud and patchouli mainly with the leather giving the whole thing a nice dry feel, keeping it fresh and bracing all day. pretty amazing for a frag named wild Leather! It does have an animalistic feel, maybe from the Guaiac wood/ oud so the “wild” monikor is not fully misplaced. The closest things it reminds me of are Lalique’s Hommage a la Homme ( mostly for the Violet and oud combo) and to some extent, Tiziana Tirenzi’s Ursa but is sufficiently different to be doing it’s own thing. (oud is not listed as one of the notes but i definitely get the synthetic oud note that all Montale/Mancera frags have)
This is my third Mancera after Cedrat Boise and Aoud Cafe that I got full bottles of and I am in love with this house. Pierre Montale/Durrani/Batman, whoever he is, if he is truly the nose behind Mancera/ Montale frags, is a very talented perfumer. Granted, they are not all hits and a lot of them are very similar with one note removed but when he has a winner, he knocks it out of the park and Wild leather is a winner. Beast mode projection so 1 spray only and even that will give you 12 hours plus longevity. ( It may actually last longer than that, all I know is its on from 8 am after my shower til about 7.30 pm when I return home and take a shower) A very underrated hidden gem. 9/10

Amazing! Very different from other leather fragrances out there. It lasts around 24hrs on my skin… Love it! A couple of rich oud sprays with this will give an extravagant smell!

Opens with a bold floral sweetness, immediately followed by the animalic funk stoking itself to life. It’s like opening the pink and purple wallpapered door to your grandmother’s basement, and finding a raccoon charging up the stairs towards you. I don’t mean any of this in a bad way.
Admittedly this is not going to be a fragrance with widespread appeal. Its leather is bold. At times the evolution borderlines on ugly. There are many moments where the wearer is taken roughly by the hand and demanded “Bear with me!”
The “wild” in the name of this is justified. The floral heart here doesn’t betray or conflict as a rose aroma, but sits as a tether to the more challenging edginess of the leather straining at the end of its lead.
Being a Mancera, the sillage and longevity of this is enormous. If you’re wanting something that merely hints at leather, well… clearly you’ll be wanting to pass on this.
As a side note: I do wish they’d chosen something different for the pattern on the bottle. The cheetah print is somewhat alienating, somewhat dates itself, as well as being somewhat confusing.

A very animalic leather, really wild & untamed, develops quite a bit on skin, try before you buy!
    Good longevity & projection.

This is some nasty juice. Contrary to its description, there is nothing “light and refreshing” about this. It’s a bunch of incongruent, unbalanced sour notes that quickly get drowned out by guaiac wood and oud (even though oud isn’t listed in the notes.) If you enjoy Chopard’s Malaki Oud, you may very well appreciate this concoction. Otherwise, I’d steer clear.
