White Rose de Alix represents the reinterpretation and reincarnation of the White Rose perfume from 1860; the fragrance that was favored by the royal clientele, so it was renamed by one of the faithful clients – the last Russian empress Alexander Feodorovna Romanova.
“White rose became a legend at the beginning of the 20th century as the signature fragrance of Aleksandra Fedorovna Romanova of Russia, born Alix of Hesse and of the Rhine. Next to the grand matriarch sat her beloved bottle of White Rose in a beautiful bespoke bottle, today housed in the Tsarskoe Selo Museum in St Petersburg.”
